A week or two ago, Imagine Dragons released their new album 'Evolve'! Which might be the new album I'm obsessed with. I've always loved their music since the day they released their debut album 'Night vision'.
I have to say that Evolve is probably my favourite album so far. By the previous albums I've always felt that the singles have been the "better" songs on their albums, but this time I have to say it's the opposite! I'm completely in love with the other tracks, you'll find three of my favourites down below.
I don't know what made me fall in love with this album, I guess it's more my type of music in an Imagine Dragons way? Sounds stupid, but I like the variety of the different sounds of the tracks, as well as I find the lyrics incredible (as they usually are). I cross my fingers and hope they will have an European tour soon! I've seen them once before and when I say it's one of my top three concerts I've ever been to, I really mean it!
As always I highly recommend the album I've written about, if you, some how, haven't listen through the album already.

During my trip in Malaga I spent some sleepless nights were I happen to watch quite too many Youtube videos, and as I've managed to finish my whole subscription box I began a search for new youtubers to watch.
I stumbled across Sophie Lousie, a 23 year old British girl who tests everything in the world of makeup (as many other does) although what I find entertaining about this girl is that she's not like any other beauty youtuber. She's honest about not knowing everything about makeup, she can be a bit clumsy with application of her makeup, etc. Which I relate with! I might not be the best with makeup but it's fun, and that's what matters.
If you have any Youtube recommendations, please leave them in the comments! As written beforeI need new youtubers to watch, and I watch (almost) everything, Makeup, comic and geekiness, travels, vlogs etc. I think you get it.
Yesterday, my family and I took a plane from the grey little place we live in to a sunny and incredibly hot Malaga, Spain!
We've been here two times before, but f*ck it's good to be back! We are renting an apartment in a little village about an hour car ride away from Malaga. And I have to inform that the best part about this apartment is the.. private pool! I love waking up and jump straight in the pool when it's 27°c outside at 9am.
We haven't done much these two days, and that's the plan for this family vacation. I'm looking forward to spend a week in the sun and heat.
Cheers for now, I'll try to update more from my little holiday here. Otherwise, follow my Instagram for more photos. (iThinkOfMonsters @ IG)
Today it has been exactly 365 days since I graduated upper secondary school! This year passed by faster than expected and it's been a journey with it's ups and downs.
After graduation I began to work at my summer job, which had been the part-time job I've had for the past two years. Though this job couldn't guarantee I could continue working there for another year. Since I'm a person who's a needs structures and rutins in my everyday life, it developed an anxiety over the summer that I would have to deal with every other day. Although after all the breakdowns and the 576247629 CV's I've written I finally got a job interview! Which a week or two later would turn out to be the job I would work with for the next year.
I've been working a full-time job as a substitute teacher, which has it's ups and downs, like any other job. What I like least about the job is that you never have one place of work. If you're lucky you might have have a school who book you for a few weeks, otherwise you could jump between five different schools on one week. But, I've realised that working with kids is the funniest and extremely rewarding in a way. I was surprised how much you, as an adult, could learn from a child. And here is when my journey takes a turn I would've never expected a year ago..
In April I applied to university to become a recreational pedagogue (Swe: Lärare inom Fritidshem). If I'm honest I would rather work another year, though as you've already read, it isn't the funniest to jump between five schools a week. As well as I've always known that I want to work with people, and children are people.. just younger with a bigger imagination. So, what exactly am I waiting for?
I've learned that life isn't something we have control over, and now I'm okay with it. I still have moments when I would rather rip my hair out of my scalp than not having control, but I'm working on it and I have to say I'm much better than I was a year ago.
I have to say, I'm damn proud of myself and how far I've come! I look forward to see what I will succeed within the next year. As well as I want soon-to-be graduating students to know that it might have a couple of rough months but it will be worth it in the end.
Here's a little video my friend Cassie made of our graduation!
Since it's LGBTQ-month (in the states, though it's always important to spread awareness for something close to your heart) I couldn't keep myself away from sharing this video of 10 LGBTQ-couples you'll find in either the DC or Marvel universe. As a LGBTQ-person and comic lover I find it important that the comics shows diversity as much as it is in real life, since most comics are suppose to take place on the planet we live on.
Two years after the release of Badlands, Halsey finally dropped her second album 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom'! She's been teasing back and forward for the past two months by releasing a few songs as singles. When Halsey released the first single, Now Or Never, I was slightly disappointed by the sound. I don't know why but I didn't like the song at all. I tried to listen to it a few times and didn't want to think one of my favourite artists could've made a song, or possibly made an album, which I wouldn't like.
But that wasn't the case. Halsey has released two singles after Now Or Never that I've found catchy, but when she dropped the album last Friday I haven't manage to switch to another album on Spotify.
Hopeless Fountain Kingdom has a whole other tune to it than Badlands, which I guess is why I was sceptical to Halsey's new music. The biggest difference between the two albums are that 'Badlands' have a darker and mystical tune going through most of the songs on the album, while 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom' has a lighter tone and tells the listener a story through every single song. The fact that Halsey managed to create an album with a storyline through the album with every song is incredible and this is where I find myself enchanted to the new tune.
As always, here's my top three songs of Hopeless Fountain Kingdom:
