Another week, only one week until O-week starts. Tom started work on Wednesday and I went in to the city with him to look at some apartment and brunchi'n with my girl Rosie.

The apartments were nothing to apply for, these real estate agents definitely done a course in graphic design. Looks nothing like the pictures. Anyway, we're happy that we get to stay at Toms mums house so we can be a little picky with the apartments. It's the worst time of the year for apartment/house hunting and at each apartment there more than twenty other inspectors, so you definitely need to offer something else than all the others.

The furnitures also got delayed which works out pretty well now. Due date 3rd of March and some extra fees on top of that. Just hoping for everything to be in one piece. But yes I'm questioning HOW the some of it will make during winter on a boat for a few months. We will see. Might be the worst thing we done.. or the best.

so, my 2nd Australia Day, bit more behaved then last time.
Woke up pretty late and went for a 10kms run before we headed in to manly for lunch. And yes, we celebrated it with Swedish food! Toast skagen, meatballs and lingonberry cocktails.
Went to manly wharf later in the noon for some pool table and aperol spritz and ended the night at old stayne. would say that we haven't been that behaved since Christmas!

Monday morning Viktoria flew in. Made our way out to Bondi And Caths place where we stayed the last couple of nights.
Took a stroll to Bondi beach, had lunch and ended the day in the best possible way, beers at north Bondi grass knoll watching the sunset with besties and had great Mexican later on.

Tuesday started next to my birthday girl, had breakie in the sun, and went for a big walk from Bondi beach to Bronte and back. Had a swim to cool down and get rid of the hangover and went out later on to this amazing rooftop cocktail bar, the palisades! Cheesplatter, rose wine and a few aperol spritz. Headed over to another hidden cocktail place, Bulletin place and ended the night at Frankies, totally different, karaoke rock night with the weirdest kind of crowd. Definitely a great day!
Today we're spending the day I front of movies and prepare ourselves for Australia Day tomorrow!

Oh my, four weeks have passed, a month, already!!
What has happened so far?
Besides the first very intensive week we're now spending most of our time down at the beach, at the gym and taking big decisions about what food we will cook.

We're also in the middle of house hunting, been to a few properties, nothing we've decided to apply for but it keeps us busy.
Tom got a job offer and decided to take it so he's now back in to banking.
I've still got some time to go until studies but trying to read it all through, got all tools I'll need for it, IT'S NOT CHEAP, that's for sure.

Last Saturday we spent at Bondi bowls to celebrate Rosie's 25th. DREAM!
Sunny day, barefoot bowling, pimm's, heaps of aperol and great people.

Went to our favourite place in manly the other day, FIKA Swedish kitchen. They've got heaps of Swedish goodies. Beside a big menu of Swedish dishes and drinks they sell swedens most traditional things such as gevalia coffee, Kalles caviar, wasa crispbread, Candies, marabou, norrlands guld beer and lots more. I love it' And for a sugar addict as myself there's possible to order Swedish princess cake, Swedish kladdkaka, saffron buns and even Semla!! What can I say, the ones who knows me knows my excitement!!

Caught up with some friends on Friday for a few more beers than we thought, back at Stayne In Manly!

This coming week though! Viktoria gets in tomorrow morning for five days in Sydney, Australia Day AND her birthday on top of that!
There will be lots of pictures taken for you y'all to see later on.

catch ya !

so, the schedule is not that busy anymore and we're trying to create some routines, even tho we don't have any ha!

Caught up with more friends last weekend in the city and went over to mac masters and the beach house for the night, just to relax, eat seafood, drink champagne and run along the beach, LIFE! Been to a few open houses during the week but no luck so far, we do have a few more on saturday tho. Signed up for the gym earlier, Anytime fitness which we had before and probably the franchise with the most gyms around in town, and back in gunnedah.

A few hours at the beach has also been spent of course to cool down from the heatwave that hit Sydney the last couple of days with 40 degrees. Though life!

Can't wait for saturday to celebrate my birthday girl Rosie's 25th at Bondi with heaps of peeps.

We're back in Sydney!
The next four days Sydney will be full of cricket fans and drunk mens (mainly). While they been enjoying there days at the cricket I been hiking, from Taronga zoo to Belmoral beach.
Had a stroll from Elizabeth bay into the city through the botanical garden and into the city. I love it and can't wait to get to know it more. Ended up at the cricket yesterday arvo even tho Tom had "enough" the day before. Had a few beers at the pub, as you do. Starting to feel tired, all this partying is starting to catch up with me. Can't wait to get back into routines!!

Definitely one of the best days this year. The celebration of a marriage between Mr & Mrs Stewart.
Had such a blast last night, lots of catching up with missed friends. An absolutely amazing wedding and also VERY hot, began the morning with 30 degrees and ended the arvo with 40. pretty sweaty as you can imagine.
So excited to see what 2017 holds for us!
Let's wish for a healthy, successful and the best year ever!

Thank you 2016 for my very best memories, you started in England followed by a week in Spain and some boring months before summer started, then you gave me a Swedish midsummer party by the coast with 12 of my best friends, you brought Tom's family and friends all the way to Sweden, a wedding in England, 3 weeks in Spain with more Aussies, crayfish party, 10 days at a wine yard in Tuscany, and all the other memories I got with my very best ones AND, not least.. a very big decision we made when we decided to move back to Australia, with everything we own. All though I'm happy to leave you behind and start a new chapter with 2017 and Australia!
You've been great but I've got lots more faith in what's about to come!

A small country town four hours inland from Sydney NSW. 10 000 people, all related to farms and agri business somehow. Koala capital of the world. The country town with one main street through the centre. The place I met Tom. Ended up here by choosing a family to do some nanny work for and ended up staying the rest of my first year here with Tom. This is where Tom grew up and where the Perrett family been owning a big piece of land for generations.

For a Swedish person like me or European I think this is the landscape you kind of see in movies. CHARMING!
Feels great to be back, peaceful!
For you who do know me knows that I'm crazy about animals, and there's lots here. I'm in heaven and of course we ended the arvo with some BBQ and champagnes and a dip in the pool!
This is the place which always ends up being 40 degrees so you kind of needs it.

All flights went very well, no delays, no long layovers, we got our bags and went through customs without any problems.
Nothing to complain about, wasn't to tired and slept through my first and second night.
Bought a PINK Iphone 7 since they didn't have any other colour, feeling craycray!
Been having nice fruit bowl breakies on the balcony, facing the water.
Had a few hours at the beach yesterday with a glass of rose in the sun, celebrating our 3 years anniversary, though life I know!
Had Toms moms family side over for BBQ and drinks yesterday, nice to catch up with everyone again.

We're now at the airport again for a shorter trip back to Gunnedah for a NYE wedding and some 40 degrees weather!!
