Hello again my dear readers ๐ŸŽ

Let's be honest here, I've never been a fan of breaking from the routine, but today, I made TWO changes in them that might not be so bad.

1. I WENT OUTSIDE (I photosynthesise from laptop radiation, yes, that is how shut in I am.)

2. I WORE EYESHADOW WITHOUT MASCARA (Yes, I know, third world problems oh my god. Hey, but you're still reading right?)

Applying eyeshadow without mascara, is practically like going commando. If you're a religious mascara user, you know what I'm talking about. If you're not, we'll I hope you'll keep up. Eyeshadow is heavily dependent on mascara, like clingy money poor ex to it's richer, more well off counterpart. Mascara CAN survive without eyeshadow, but eyeshadow CANNOT without survive without mascara, as it will feel incomplete.

Eyeshadow: Matchbox Softlight - 27.50 EUR (https://www.kicks.se/smashbox/cover-shot-eye-palette-p85105 )

However, to celebrate my first road trip off to the nature in a long time, I decided to give this lost soul a try, and it worked out fantastic ! Even without mascara, my eyes didn't appear as if they we're missing anything, and gave off a perfectly beachy, if not even more radiating and fresh look, for the summer. I'm not too sure if this would work with other palettes, but with the soft colours on my own, I felt like I was ready to go and start the off the day! (Which turned out to be a great solution, as when we went swimming I did not end up looking like a wet raccoon, so yes, definitely a good choice good job Iisa).

What to take from this?

Dear reader, do not be afraid to break away from a routine, whether it be going outside, trying a new ice cream flavour or actually going commando (please don't tell me if you're going to do it though, I DO NOT need to know)

In the end, the only person who's going to judge you, is you.

Till next time ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿƒ

Welcome to my very first blog post ! ๐ŸŽŒ๐Ÿ˜

As you can probably guess, I'm super exited, but before we begin our journey together, let me first introduce myself, the one who hides behind this laptop and the main narrator of this blog. Personally I'm not really the one for brief monologues about where I live, where I'm from and what I do in my life, after-all dear reader you will discover the following in the future. Therefore, I've decided to present myself in 10 pieces. A nice round number, the indication of full marks here in Finland. If you look closer, you can even see the number ten in the word Tennessee and that it's included in a lot of puns as an indication of perfection. So why could I not come in a set of ten as well?

10 things you should know about me

1. My second name illusia is based on a character from finnish mythology, a fairy without wings ๐Ÿƒ

2. I tend to judge and have a lot of opinions about a lot of things, but never have anywhere to pour them into. Therefore, this blog will have a lot of reviews about objects, clothes, movies etc, yet not about people! ๐Ÿ’

3. I can speak two languages fluently, English and Finnish and slightly Chinese and French. By slightly, I mean my knowledge of them is mere non-existent. ๐Ÿธ

4. I live in educational hell. Sorry my middle school readers, high school is not always nice and definitely not a musical, but it definitely has it's peaks of light. I go to one of the most academically challenging schools in the country AND aiming for the IB diploma, so you will definitely find loads of content about the ups and downs of that in here too. โ˜€

5. I love anime, k-dramas, dramas from your most weirdest to your most typical Netflix series. I breathe series like oxygen, any recommendations to ask or give, please ๐Ÿ‘Š me up !

6. I have a form of dyscalculia (dyslexia with numbers) which in my case means I sometimes can't estimate things such as if a temperature is hot or cold. Sounds pretty weird, but it's even weirder when you don't realise you've had it for the past 17 years alongside all the trouble and problems it's caused. More about that later though! ๐Ÿ™

7. I recently moved back from Hong-Kong, China alongside my family. Still not used to the cold, which would explain why I'm always dressed like I'm going to a beach party in Ibiza. ๐Ÿ™

8. When I was younger (according to my grandmother) I used to babble about things that would happen in the future. I can't do that anymore, but this would explain occasional attempts to be cool and mystic like the protagonist of some third-rate teen novel ๐Ÿ‘

9. I own a set of tarot cards and a set of rune stones, recently I've started to prefer the stones over the cards๐ŸŒ™

10. I cut a super awkward fringe recently and I know a lot of people don't like how it looks, but I'm slowly becoming really attached to it, like a worn down rescue dog I saved from the streets. ๐Ÿ’

Dear stranger, please do enjoy this story that is the life I lead.

I hope you will have as much fun reading, as I have writing it ๐Ÿ’›
