They say the watch is the most important accessory for the modern gentleman. With a watch you can tell a random person who you are, what you like and last but not least; if you have taste or not.

The most famous gentleman in the movie history I would say is James Bond. When the first movies were made in the 60:s James Bond was wearing a Rolex Submariner but he has also been wearing other big watch company names as Breitling, Seiko and TAG Heuer.

But, the most famous watch Bond is wearing is undoubtedly the Omega Seamaster. That watch is probably still one accessory many Bond-fans are dreaming about today.

Seasons are shifting in Stockholm. Early this morning we changed in to winter-time, slept in and re-charged for a busy work week. Swedish winter is soon knocking on the door, but as long as the streets are dry and free from snow we can keep great style. Above you see Italian made-to-measure wool pants for the perfect fit together with the timeless brown Grafton Derby shoes from Church's.

Stella McCartney is one of my all time favorite brands. This season Stella is showing many of the major trend-details. For the last part of this seasons trendspotting I give you amazing looks from Stella McCartney pre fall 17.

The important details to keep in mind are: checks, denim, skin free skin, sequins, fringes, lace and jacquard. Enjoy!

This fall we will see a lot of big and breathtaking jewelry. The big focus is not only on earrings and bracelets. We will see big necklaces, brooches and rings made in materials as metal, plastic, pearls, diamonds or rhinestones in the worlds different colors and shape. I see this trend as an opportunity to show the world who you are and match your bijoux with your personality.

At Marni they showed grand earrings and necklaces in sphere shapes that looks like glass.

Balenciaga believes in more clean jewelry in silver and gold in bigger sizes.

Jane Birkin was the genius starting this trend in the early 60´s. Last summer we saw the trend bubble on social media and for fall 2017 the basket bag did hit the catwalk. For extra trend points, pick your basket bag in a rigid, firm shape as the ones above.

The fake fur jacket is a big hit every season. For fall 2017 we will see a lot of jackets, trimmings, hats and details made of fake fur. The colors will be many and the shapes are all different. Naturally many of the fluffy items we are going to see will be made of the real deal, but I think it´s important to take a stand.

One fun detail we can all add to our wardrobes is plastic. In several shows we have seen plastic covered garments. It´s both practical and fun. I personally would die for the plastic trench with black trimmings seen at the Miu Miu show.

Velvet is one of the materials that take a lot of space almost every fall/winter collection. The deepness of the color in the material is just breathtaking. Keep a roller close by and pick one item in a color of your personal taste. If you don´t feel comfortable wearing a garment in velvet, focus on accessories such as shoes or a bag instead.

This fall and winter the long coat is a perfect choice to stay pretty and warm. The apparent trend is the over-knee length. We see different shapes; A-line, masculine straight, the round shape with dropped shoulders, the trenchcoat and the more tailored one. I wouldn't mind the baby blue coat from Céline but the dream coat is definitely the black one with shiny black details from Valentino. If you prefer a crisp look, take the opportunity and pick the snow-white color.

Jacquemus & Dior

One of the trends I personally look forward to is "the ugly hat-trend". Don´t get me wrong, I love ugly hats. The funkier, the better. Above, you can see two of my favorites. The one to the left from Jacquemus and the beret from Dior. The shape and color doesn't matter, It´s more about your own personal taste. In the fall/winter-shows we have seen hats with feathers at John Galliano, fake fur at Miu Miu, Anna Sui and Prada and even a hat in the shape of a bag at Maison Margiela.
