The is nothing quite like the city of London, from Westminster Abby to Kings Cross Station, London is filled with beautiful monuments, an amazing art, food and fashion culture. London is also home to the famous royal family. The famous carousel located in the heart of London is really beautiful, they kept all the figures of an original carousel. It has brought bright lights, smiles and music to young children.
New York City is home to great monuments such as The Empire State Building, Time Square, Statue of Liberty and of course Broadway. New York City is filled with influential sites of art, music and food; that is why the locals like to call New York "The City That Never Sleeps" and i truly believe that. One can walk down 5th Avenue and come across Time Square, Broadway and of course the biggest names in the retail business. The best way to go around New York is definitely by public transport as you get to see the city better and appreciate its beauty. I do not recommend that you go to New York by car because the traffic is horrible and parking is really expensive. There are always subways and buses that go all hours of the day and night. So you don't have to worry about missing the last subway cause they go all through the night. The food culture in New York is also truly spectacular, every corner you turn there is always food from different countries. You can always find what you want to eat be it Asian, Italian, Mexican, Cheesecake, or traditional American, you can find it and if you are uncertain about the best restaurant to go to just ask the locals. The people of New York are also very friendly. Magnolia Bakery located at Rockefeller Center is the best bakery located in New York City. The Red Velvet cake and the Whoopie cookie is amazing. The Red Velvet cake is a light chocolate red velvet cake with whipped cream icing but you cal also get it with cream cheese icing. The Whoopie cookie has two brown sugar cookies with maple cream cheese filling. The prices of these pastries can run high but they are really worth the money. Radio City Music Hall also located at Rockefeller Center has hosted some of the biggest names in music like Aretha Franklin, The Rockettes, Meghan Trainor, James Bay and many others. New York is truly one of the best cities I have been to in America. I highly recommend if you are ever in America you go to New York even if it is only for a couple of days.

Piazza delle Erbe is one of the most beautiful parts of Verona. It is a European market square where you can purchase local artifacts and fresh fruits and also see the beautiful buildings. It is also walking distance from the arena so you can pick up some fresh fruits and just walk to the arena to see a show. The vendors at the piazza are some of the friendliest and nicest people I have come across in Verona. When you ask them a question about the city they will be able to tell you what you need to know. The fruits were also some of the freshest fruit I have ever tasted. The Piazza is surrounded by many beautiful historic buildings and each building has a story behind it. To truly get around and appreciate the city I would recommend that you use the public transport and you ask the locals about where you want to go. There are also a wide range of shows at the arena everyday so if you desire to see a show there is always something for you to see, you just buy a ticket and enjoy the show. They are truly spectacular. The tickets can get pricey but it depends on where you choose to sit. Since the Roman era, the Piazza delle Erbe has been a meeting place for the people of Verona. Many of the streets in Verona connect to the Piazza. If you are ever in Verona visit the Piazza delle Erbe, it is truly the heart of Verona.

Venice truly is a wonderful city with a rich history from the beautiful landscapes to the wonderful food, Venice truly is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. There is an ancient beauty that hides within the mystery city of Venice. Some people refer to Venice as the "City of Falling Angels". Even if you are a person that is not romantic at heart Venice will bring that out of you. From riding in a traditional Venetian gondola to a beautiful candle lit dinner at the Antico Pignolo where you can be expected to receive the best service and food. The food in Venice is also truly spectacular. If you need a really good cup of coffee to wake you up I highly recommend Piazza San Marco which is the heart of Venice or if you want a cold drink in those hot days Harry's bar is the place for you. To truly take in the magic of Venice, you have to see it by gondola. A trip to Venice gives one the opportunity to experience the food traditions of the city. As Venice is located by the sea there is a wide variety of seafood dishes which are seasoned with only the most fresh of ingredients including fresh herbs and fresh vegetables. The most famous seafood dish is "Baccala Mantecato" which is made with fresh cod and with cream and generally served with a side dish of polenta. Venice truly is a wonderful city with a wide variety of fresh food and rich history, there is no city like it. So therefore, if you are ever in Italy I highly recommend that you go to Venice.
The Flego Pasticceria location in the heart of the beautiful city of Verona has the best pastries I have ever tasted. I went for the mini chocolate cake with real gold flakes on it. It was delicious. The Flego Pasticceria serves many other types of pastries also; all of which are also amazing. The Flego Pasticceria serves all types of cakes from tartes to chocolates. They also have these amazing macaroons in every single flavor and their very own Italian pastries. I really like this place because as soon as yo walk in you just get this welcoming feeling. The place is small but very cozy. So if you are ever find yourself in Verona and you are craving chocolate or anything light and delicious then I highly recommend stopping by the Flego Pasticceria.

Spaghetti with lobster tails, shrimps and tomatoes
The Caffè ai Lamberti is a beautiful little café located in the heart of Piazza delle Erbe where they serve beautiful prepared and served food. The meal that I went for is the spaghetti with lobster tails, shrimps and tomatoes and I must tell you that it was delicious. The spaghetti was homemade, the tomatoes were freshly picked, the shrimps and the lobster tails were all fresh. The portion may not look big but trust me when I say that its very filling. Since the spaghetti was homemade it was very filling and I tell you it tastes very different from what one will buy in the supermarket.
The Caffé ai Lamberti offers a wide selection of pizzas, spaghetti, ham platters, salads and a wonderful dessert selection. This café has the best service I have ever had. The staff there are very polite and they treat you like family. It also sits in one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in Verona. I strongly recommend anyone who wishes to visit Verona to eat at this café.

First and foremost I would like to welcome all of you to my blog. As this is my first post I would like to take the time to tell you something about about myself. I am 20 years old and I live in Copenhagen. I was born in Denmark but moved to Africa as a child and I just came home again 3 years ago. I have made this blog to share the food that I have tried and loved. Food is a big part of my life and I love trying different types of food. I love going to places and trying the food that they have there. I have wanted to create this blog for a long time and now its finally here. Its like Jess C. Scott says:"A fit, healthy body- that's the best fashion statement"
Or its like Virginia Woolf says:
"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dinned well"
These two quotes by these two women really inspire me as I do believe that if one eats well one feels good about themselves. I also believe that you have the chose to eat whatever pleases you. You have the free will to be who ever you please or whatever you please and there is no one out there that can tell you who you are.
