I just got these amazing platform Vans the other day, and they are amazing! I have a pair like these already that aren't platforms, but I've worn a hole in the sole so bad it reaches my foot. You may be able to imagine how wet my feet got when it rained, haha.
So enough was enough! Platform it was! They are so comfy; because of the thick sole, it feels like you're walking on cake haha.
I'm in love, they're amazing.

Well... here's to my first two days at college being over! Woo! Tomorrow I start my actual lessons; yesterday and today were just enrolment and induction. Boring days but necessary, so good to get it out of the way. I'm lucky, as I'm only in for two hours tomorrow, so will be a nice, gradual start for me!

(Don't have any current pics, so have a throwback of me and my boo.)

For anyone wondering, I'm doing my AS Levels this year, then A2 next year. I'm on Religious Studies, English Literature & Language and Sociology. They're all subjects I'm interested in, and I think they'll be useful to me in the future. Especially if I ending up going to university like I plan to.

I'm feeling pretty confident about this whole college thing. A hell of a lot more than I did last time I went, for hairdressing. There's a whole different vibe with AS courses, which I'm really digging.

Anyway, I better go. Early start tomorrow!

Hello!
Yesterday, me and my boo decided to upgrade or bedroom a little bit. Well, I decided, and he went along with it haha. It was long overdue though, our bedroom has looked to drab and bleugh since we moved in 4 months ago!

I bought these prints from an amazingly talented guy, who you can find here.
They're just our style, and go really well with our black & white colour scheme. We put them up with hanging strips instead of nails, as we're renting. The lamp is from B&Q, and the sheets are from Primark. In case you were wondering haha.

Gorgeous, aren't they? Hope to be tattooed by this guy some day.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading!

Hi! So today I went and got all the things I need for school! Pretty exciting. I love stationary, so safe to say I had a field day today. Can we just talk about how annoying it is to find school supplies if you're not 12? So much of the stuff I found was covered in emojis or cats... I'm coming up to 20, not really my style lol. Regardless, I found some pretty nice stuff, as neutral as I could haha.

All the stationary is from Tiger and Tesco, pencil case is WH Smith, rucksack from Tesco, and the t-shirts are from the men's section in Primark. T-shirts aren't exactly school supplies, but hey, needed some basics for going back to school! That's the excuse anyway.

Thanks for reading!

Hi! So today something pretty damn sweet happened; I got into college! I'm going to be doing 3 AS Levels- English Language & Literature, Religious Studies and Sociology. I am so excited. It's kind of a secret I've kept to myself until now, (only my mum and fiancée knew) so it feels good that it's all official. I'm so excited to start learning again, and try and kick my mental illness' arse a bit. It's honestly about terrifying, but I've just got to give it a go. Don't want to let myself be held back anymore.

Kind of weird to think that I started this blog just over two years ago, when I was about to move to Wales and start college for hairdressing. Yet here I am two years later; living with my fiancée, had two jobs, left college, supported myself and developed an awful Starbucks habit. Good times :)

Enough rambling from me. Just wanted to get this all out while the emotions are still fresh in my brain.

So, I'm engaged! My partner proposed to me on Christmas Day last year, and we're hoping to tie the knot by the end of next year. We've been gradually planning things, mostly just deciding on our theme and what not, what kind of decorations etc. Pinterest has been a huge help for this, and that's what I'm here to share today! A little moodboard, if you will, of some wedding inspo!

That's all for now. I'd like to keep posting about wedding-y things as time goes on, especially when we start planning and booking things properly. Saying that I've already bought my gorgeous wedding dress, but that's for another day haha.

In my last post I mentioned I was interested in doing some fat positivity posts, so here I am! As a fat woman, I like seeing other fat women doing their thing and wearing rad clothes, and I want in on it!

Get ready for awkward posing!

My pinafore style dress is ASOS own brand, in a size 28. I'm generally a 24, so if you come across this dress size up a couple of times as it runs a bit small.
My gorgeous (if I say so myself) sweatshirt is from ASOS Men, in a 3XL. It's pretty true to size but a little tight around the bottom of my tum as that's where I carry most of my weight, so could've gone a size up to be a bit more oversized.
Tights are Papaya in 26-28, and shoes are just Vans, but I know they don't do these particular print anymore unfortunately!

X

Anywho, that's all for this post! Excuse my awkward face and cigarette, but on this blog we're getting real, y'all. Thanks for reading!

So, my life has been a bit of a shit show for the past year. I've been so depressed, worked an awful job, quit that job due to depression, been unemployed, broke, kicked out of an apartment for no reason, dealt with my SO's health issues... The list goes on. Things have been really hard, honestly. And that's ok to admit, I think.

Thankfully, there's seems to be an end in sight in terms of the brokenness and health issues, and things might start to be getting back on track. I've recently applied for 3 AS Level courses, and I should hear back soon about whether or not I got in. And you know what? I'm really excited. I kind of definitely have no idea what's going on with me or my life, but I think it'll be really good to get back into an environment of education and people. It's scary, as my mental illness still plays a huge roll in my day to day life, but I'm really trying to battle it and make myself proud by doing something.

Not quite sure where I'm going with this post, but as I've said before here, I just love having blogs to look back on years later. I think I might be in a quite transitional phase of my life right now, and I want to document it, plain and simple.

X

Feel free to follow me on this journey, or don't, haha! It won't all be depressing; I'm really interested in having some focus on mental health advocacy and fat positivity, so that's sure to come at some point.
Thanks for reading, if you did!

So, I love tattoos. I got my first a month after my 18th, and now, a year later, I have four! Some may say that's quick, but god damn it feels so slow! If money allowed it, I would probably have at least my forearm done and some more random ones on my legs. I wish I didn't constantly have ideas for more tattoos, but I get a new idea every bloody week it seems! Ah, at least I won't run out of room. But I digress, this post is just about showing off my tattoos! I absolutely love all of them.

#1 Kvelertak Piece by Miss Pixels.

This was my first tattoo. I know, bit ambitious for a first tattoo! But it was a great decision, I absolutely love it! It's absolutely beautiful. Obviously it has faded since the picture below was taken, as both pictures were taken on the day of having it done at each stage. However, it is amazing. As you may know, this is the album cover of Kvelertak's first album, initially drawn by John Baizley. Love it.

#2/3 Script by Lee Taylor.

I don't have a full image, as frankly I don't love whipping my knees out haha, but I have script underneath each of my knees. On the left leg, it says 'Unafraid' and the other says 'Unashamed'. I think they speak for themselves in terms of meaning, it's quite personal and representative of where I am in my life. They were loosely based on a My Chemical Romance song, which some might think is cringy, but I don't care haha. I love them and think they're a bit unique as far as script goes. #noshade I adore these tattoos.

#4 Hand holding lipstick by Bethan Traynor.

This is my most recent tattoo, and the tattoo that branched me out into the realm of being visibly tattooed. It's a little weird glancing down at my arm and seeing a tattoo, but not a bad weird! I absolutely love this tattoo as well, and still can't believe the lovely girl who did it is an apprentice! It's so cute and well done, and she come up with the design on the spot! Couldn't be happier, it's very cute and very me. It also pays homage to my crazy love of lipstick and makeup in general.

Hope any of you reading like my tattoos and maybe even grabbed some inspo for your next tattoo! I sure hope mine isn't too far off!

Hiya. This morning has been really nice, and it's not even 9am yet! My building is quite close to a river, so I decided to go out and have a little sit. The sun was still coming up, I had Alex Turner's voice ringing in my ears with a cigarette in hand. What bliss.

Even though I'm absolutely dreading work this afternoon, I feel like I got a really good start to the day. Anyway. Must get on with my day; I have V-Day things to wrap and eyebrows to draw on.

Have a lovely day x
