I had the opportunity to have a quick interview with the talented Henrik , given this opportunity I just had to ask some of his best beauty secrets and what kind of look is trendy for this holiday season.
Here are some of them & the products he recommended.

1.Taking care of the skin with the right products is number one rule to achieve a glowy and flawless canvas.
The earlier you start, the better.
2. Simplicity is the key while multi-using the products you already have.
3. Don't be afraid to play with colors.

-How to Achieve A natural look-


1. To achieve a nice and glowy skin is important to use a foundation that provides sufficient moisture, and the right amount of coverage.
-Foundation sticks can be very scary for some, but they are very easy to work with.
The new stick foundation from Lancôme can be used for that natural look or cover up those spots you need. At the same time, it gives a matte finish.

If you are adventurous with your makeup, you can also do contouring with it with a darker shade.

Here I'm using the blush of the Olympias palette on my crease to have a flirty and sweet look while keeping the look very natural.

Since we are getting into holiday season transitioning from your daytime to evening look can be sometimes a little bit stressful.
Henrik's quickest tips are to use strong color on the lips that gives a nice radiance.
In addition, you can put the focus on the eyes.

- Start by using an eye pencil on your eyelid and smudge it out with a brush to create an effortless smokey eye.
- Apply eyeliner.
- Go ahead and apply the lipcolor you want to rock for a night out or christmas dinner.

1, Start by using a primer.
Makeup primer is the base for foundation or face makeup that allows it to go on smoother and last longer.
During the winter my skin tends to get very dry; here I'm using a hydrating primer.

2. Go ahead and apply a concealer on the areas you need to cover or light up.

3. Using the Gigi Hadid palette Warm tone, I went ahead and blended the light brown & the golden color together to give my eyes some dimension.

5. For a more subtle highlight, I used the liquid golden highlighter.
It gives a lovely and warm glow on the skin.

6. As you might know... Eyeliner is a must for me.
For a more precise angle of your winged liner, draw the flick toward your eye instead of away from it.
Drawing in a backward direction will make it easier to determine where the end of the flick will be.

7. A lighter way to contour is to use a bronzer.
How you might use it:
-On the sides of your forehead to make your hairline appear more narrow.
-Along your hairline to create the illusion of a lower hairline.
-Under your jawbone to make your jawline appear more narrow.
-The area below your cheekbones starting from your ears and ending in the middle of your cheeks.

I wanted to do this post because I know that we are all feeling extremely vulnerable in these insane times. It has been such a stressful, sad weeks and I know we can all benefit from the comfort and relaxing right now. I decided to gather some tips on how to de-stress and what to do if you want to untangle and take a day for yourself. You most definitely deserve it. ❤

1. Reading, whether it be an actual book or through social media, can really help during stressful times. Having a book to take you away from the world a little is always so nice, especially in a bath or after a nice shower. Read your favorite novel, watch your favorite movie, and feel happiness.
Get connected to it.
Also, though it really depends on how you feel, I know there is so much going on in social media that it might be smart to take a little break from it and focus on the little activities that give you happiness. Almost like ignorance is bliss in a way. Or, if reading social media makes you feel better, do it! It really depends on what you prefer :-) I just know that, not even during this specific time, social media can sometimes make us even more stressed. Technology is always a good thing to take our minds away from time to time.

2. When there's so much going on and when we have anxiety, we tend to neglect our bodies and we might even forget to eat or drink water. But, this ends up taking a terrible toll because when we are stressed, our body is using up even more energy. It is really important to nourish with nice foods, veggies, and water because it is when our body really needs it.
Make a smoothie, have an apple, drink extra water. We need to pay attention to what our bodies are telling us and what we are neglecting in that moment. It will also make you feel better not only physically, but mentally as well.
It's is always important to listen to your body and soul. Especially during a hectic time ❤︎ also other little tips to help include taking a bath, giving yourself little massages, having green tea, and taking care of your skin.

3. Take a hot shower, slip into your favorite pajamas, have some water, and snuggle into bed with your laptop or book or journal. I know this is something so simple, but feeling comfy/cozy will make your mind feel so relaxed. It is great to unwind at night like this.
It will make your body feel serene too. Open your window, get a little fresh air. Clear your mind of those negative thoughts. Watch a funny show on Netflix. It'll make your heart feel much happier ❤︎

Just because the temperature is dropping doesn’t mean we want to quit using some of our summer pieces already.
One of the saddest things about transitioning from summer to fall is the loss of the flirty, lightweight dresses that we basically lived in during the warmest months of the year.
A great way to get more mileage out of your summer wares is to layer.

The key of layering is to combine the short, sleeveless, lightweight pieces from the summer with the heavier pieces you need during fall for example Jeans, sweaters, leather jackets & scarfs.

On this post I decided to give a small guide of how to combine the dress in two different ways.
Since mostly of the dresses I have are "wrap dresses" I simply use them with jeans and a blouse, just like on the picture. It gives me the option to play with accessories and style it very easily with a leather jacket or a coat.

...The Party Look...

Another idea for busy days at work and none time to go home before an event or party.
Pack in your bag a pair of tights and a pair heels of choice.
Tights instantly turn any dress into a fall-appropriate wardrobe choice.
Here I decided to show the look without the tights since the day was beautiful and a bit warm.

Every girl should own at least a pair of black heels s and a leather jacket. You won't want to leave home without these must have staples.
