How blue isn't the water here? I love the contrast with the white/beach lime stone and the blue sea. It's finally a bit cooler here in Malta and it's really nice to be outside again. Yesterday we went to eat sushi in San Giljan with my cousin from New Zealand. I could literally eat sushi every day, it is delicious! I hope you all have had an amazing weekend!

Early mornings in paradise! It was so nice to get up early and drive here for a morning swim. The water was turquoise crystal clear, just like in a pool! Since it has been so warm here in Malta, the temperature was perfect in the sea. I can really recommend Paradise Bay which is a small beach in the north of Malta, not far away from Mellieha.

As you can see on the picture above there are many stones here brought up by the sea, when I first came to Malta this was a sandy beach! It is so incredible how fast the nature can change.

Hello loves! I am almost melting away here in Malta, it is around 38 degrees in the shade and I have no air condition at home, only a fan. The weather have been so different this summer compared to the other years here on the island. I am usually a sun seeker and I love summer but this is way too hot! I have already started to look forward for the Mediterranean winter time with some rain and fresh air. I love the winters here, it is mostly cool and sunny which can be similar to a nice Swedish summer :)

I can never get enough of these pretty views and colors, Malta makes me happy! Some days ago we went to Bugibba and had a dinner in the sunset with the view over the blue Mediterranean. It was so magical to watch the sun going down and see different people enjoying this moment with their family and loved ones. These moments are what makes life worth living, the small things. I hope you all have an amazing day xx

It's August already! This year is flying by so far and the months are passing by so fast. The older I get, the more the time does pass quickly, do you feel the same? Speaking about time, in Scandinavia the summer is soon over and here in Malta the summer last all the way until October. It's really nice to have those extra months of summer, the winter never gets that long then. That's one of the advantages by living in the Mediterranean although I sometimes miss the four different seasons we have in Sweden too. Each season has it's own beauty!

Good morning! I started this Monday with a powerwalk in Dingli Cliffs with my dog Milo. It is so peaceful to walk there in the morning and the only sound you'll hear is when the birds are singing! I love to be surrounded with the nature and it always brings me so much positive energy. Early mornings at the sea side is the best! <3

San Blas bay

Some more pictures from beautiful Gozo! Last time we discovered a new bay which is called San Blas bay, it is so pretty! I always enjoy taking the ferry to Gozo as often as I can. This small island is a must see if you visit Malta!

Yesterday I went out with Swedish Jessica and met her for a drink in San Giljan. It was great to see her again and to speak some Swedish :) I hope you all have an amazing Sunday!

Yesterday Neil and I had a dinner at the harbour in Portomaso. I love the atmosphere there and it's even more magical in the evening! We went to eat at an Indian restaurant that we have been to before. The food was delicious as always! As you can see in the picture above, we ordered vegetable samosa and hummus as a starter - so good! I could eat hummus with bread every day, it's really refreshing in this heat! :)

Malta, The island of colourful doors. It is so enchanting to walk around the small streets in the villages and see the colourful details around the island. The Maltese doors fits in perfectly with the honey coloured lime stone that they use to build the houses here. I have always loved the Mediterranean architecture and although Malta's architecture is very different from the rest of Europe, it's the doors that make Malta so gorgeous and pretty!
