One of the best things about living in Malta must be to live so close to all the south European countries. I have been fascinated and inspired by the Mediterranean life style since I was young and I still remember how excited and happy I used to be whenever traveling towards the sun.

As you can see on the pictures above, I went to Sicily with my boyfriend 1 year ago. I used to live in Genoa in Italy some years ago (I love that place!) but I never went to Sicily before. This time we went to Sicily by plane to Catania and afterwards we took the bus to Taormina. This town is incredibly pretty and if you like the italian food, gelato, wine and culture - you will definitely like Taormina! I really hope to go back there soon <3

Some pictures from Sunday when I met up a friend and we went to Pembroke. Even though I have lived in Malta for over 4 years, I can't remember being here that much before. Pembroke is located next to the sea and is also very close to San Giljan and Paceville. It is really beautiful here and the town is considered to be the newest in Malta. I could definitely imagine to live here!

Hello beautiful October! My mum have been here for a few days and we have been going around Malta and Gozo. Since I have a car now, it is much easier to show my friends and family around Malta. We were really lucky with the weather too and it was as sunny as you can see on the pictures! It is also such a nice temperature here now, around 25 degrees every day with fresh air and sunshine. I could live with this weather all year around :)

Hej! I just came home from a run at the cliffs and now I am having some green chai tea. I love this flavour and it's perfect for all the upcoming autumn days. Speaking about autumn, here in Malta it still feels like summer and I really enjoy these sunny and cooler days.

As you can see on the pictures above, we went to an Indian restaurant in the beautiful Portomaso harbour some days ago. I had their vegetarian curry with a lot of hummus, rice and fresh bread. Always so good!

Some of the ancient streets in pretty Rabat. This town is so gorgeous! Neil and I went here this morning for a coffee at Santa Lucia which is a cute cafe in the centre of the town. One of the best things about Rabat is it's high location with the amazing view all over Malta.

This may be my favourite pasta of all times! It is with pesto, mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and some parsley. I can really recommend this one!

Pictures from yesterday! I met up a Brazilian/Dutch girl called Marcinha in Sliema. We stayed around an hour at the rock beach and afterwards we went to have a drink in Balluta Bay. I love the atmosphere there in the evening! Earlier today I got a call from my mum and she told me that she booked a ticket to visit me over my birthday in October! I am so happy and I can't wait to show her around the island. <3

Last Saturday I met up with sweet Trine for a dinner in Balluta Bay. She is a Norwegian girl and she also lives here in Malta. You can find her blog here <3

We went to a restaurant called The Villa and I had one of the best pastas that I've ever tasted! The food and drinks were delicious too and I would definitely go back there again.

On Monday I went to meet some colleagues from my previous work, Dorota and Barbara. I brought my dog Milo with me and he met Dorota's cute dog Lego! We went for an ice cream in Bugibba and it was great for Milo to see a new place and meet new friends. <3

On Tuesday I met Biri and we went to Mdina for a coffee. It was so nice to meet her again and to be outside with the amazing weather and the blue sky. Mdina is so gorgeous too! I can never get enough of this magical place.

After our stroll in Mdina we stopped in Dingli Cliffs to enjoy this view. It is so peaceful, calm and beautiful here! I am so glad to call this place home. Have an amazing Friday everyone! <3

Favourite veggie pasta with parsley, pesto and tomato!

The summer is still here and I love the fall in Malta! The last days have been so nice with a cool breeze outside and clear blue skies. Yesterday we went to Sliema in the morning and had an ice coffee and lunch at the beach promenade. Although the food wasn't the best, I really enjoyed the view there. The dark blue Mediterranean is enchanting indeed!

Mdina is one of my favourite places in Malta. It is the previous capital city of Malta and is known as the Silent City with such a beautiful ancient architecture. There is a small cafe here named Fontanella and they have the most delicious cakes! Since Mdina is located on a hill you can see breath taking views all over the island from this cute cafe. I always go here for a coffee occasionally and the magical atmosphere in Mdina is totally worth a visit.
