Got to sleep in a little bit today since we didn’t have a park to get to. We packed our things, checked out and looked in the souvenir song before starting to drive south towards Key West. But since Key west was almost a 8 hours away from Orlando we decided to spend a night in Homestead before continuing the drive. Homestead was about a 4 and a half hour drive. On the way to Homestead you drive by the Everglades which is a big wetlands preserve in southern Florida where Alligators lives. We decided to stop for an airboat tour and alligator/crocodile show. The show was really interesting, you got to learn the difference between alligators and crocodiles, and see how Alligators capture their prey. After the show we went on the airboat through the grassland where we got to see some alligators sunbathing in their natural habitat. From the Everglades we only had about an hour drive to the motel, we stopped by Applebees on the way for some dinner, 2 entrees + two side Caesar salads for $20. Then we went to the motel and went to bed. Before going to sleep Ellia called me on Skype so I talked to her, Celeste, Quinn and Manon. What would we do without Skype.

We got to sleep a little longer today than yesterday but not much. After some quick breakfast in our room, consisting of yoghurt and granola we took the shuttle to Magic Kingdom so we were there at 8:30. It was so much colder than we thought, it was cloudy in the morning and windy, but it did get a little better in the afternoon. We stayed in the park until 11 pm, the first hours we did a lot of rides, we did our fastpass+ and a few others since it wasn't that long lines in the morning. Then we stood in line to the Seven Dwarfs ride, which was supposed to be a 2 hour line but turned into a 3 hour one... But we passed the time by eating bagels and playing games. After that we stood in line for Splash mountain, that line was only 1,5 hour. Our bodies were so tired after standing so long. at 7 pm we watched the parade and had a dance street party with some Disney characters. After that we watched a monsters inc live comedy show, that was hilarious, then at 9 it was time for fireworks. They were so good, and beautiful, specially with them being behind the castle. A little after that they did a show on the castle with projectors, it was amazing! No one creates magic like Disney. Before going home we looked through the stores and bought some souvenirs. Then we crashed in our beds exhausted.

We woke up early to take the shuttle to Epcot, where we had breakfast reservations at The Garden Grill 8:!5. The restaurant rotated so we got to see different views of nature while we ate, savannah, desert, jungle and farming. During the breakfast Chip, Dale, Goofy, Pluto, and Mickey also walked around greeting everybody. As breakfast we got, juice, scramble eggs, sausage, bacon, tater tots, fruit salad and sticky cinnamon rolls. Definitely the best breakfast so far. When we were all full to the maximum it was time to do some rides. Disney has this smart thing called FastPass+ where before your visit you could pick three rides you wanted to do and when, so we booked Soaring between 9-10 and then we could just go there beep our bands and go a head of the line. So smart! When we'd done all our three fast passes we could book new ones one at the time using the Disney World app. After a few hours of rides, some we had to stand in line for we ate our bagels we brought for lunch and walked around, Epcot had a flower festival going on so there was these amazing plant sculptors of characters all over the park. The weather wasn't the best the morning was cold but during the day it was okay. Around the lake in Epcot they had the World Showcase where they had 11 countries displayed, Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, US, Japan, Morocco, France, Great Britain, and Canada. In every country there was only people from that country working, so we talked to some of them from Norway, where they also had Swedish candy in the shop. In the afternoon it started raining and it just rained more and more. We had some chicken teriyaki for dinner in Japan and then watched the firework show that was really good and beautiful. It was all about that we all belong together in this world, with Earth lighting up in the middle of the lake. It was pouring down rain during the show so we were soaked and cold when it was time to head back to the hotel to get a few hours of sleep.

My favorites rides today was;
- Soaring, when you flew over the whole world. It was so well made, when we were on the savannah in Africa you could even smell the elephants.
- Frozen, it was a really cute ride with all the frozen characters singing and dancing.
- Mission Space, You got to train for a mission to space, with a stimulator that was spinning fast to make you get that heavy feeling you get when you're on an airplane.

Breakfast didn't start until 8 at today's hotel, so we got to sleep in a little, which was nice since we lost an hour when they switched to summer time. After breakfast we drove in to Orlando but quickly realized that it wasn't much there so we went to an outlet instead. Karin and I needed something green for St. Patrick's day and I found a pretty dark green skirt. I also found a pretty dress and some bras and 2 bikinis from Victoria Secret, they had an amazing sale, bras for $10 and bikinis $8 a piece. When we were done there we went to a grocery store and bought some food that we can have for breakfast and lunch the next day and then we went to Disney World!! After checking in to the New Orleans Riverside hotel, where we're staying the next 3 days we left our things in the room, which we can open with our wristbands instead of a card key. Then we took the boat to Disney Springs (downtown Disney) to eat some dinner, we shared a pasta and a pizza at Portobello. After that it was time to look in the stores. We all bought Minnie Mouse ears and Amanda and I also bought a cute key chain each. Around 9 we were all done looking around the giant area of stores so we took the boat back to the hotel. We managed to town our boat ride to when the theme parks have their firework shows, so we got to see them in the distance. Now it's time to go to bed to some sleep before for a day at Epcot tomorrow.

After breakfast at the hotel we packed the car and started driving towards Florida. After a few hours we arrived in St. Augustine which is the oldest city in the US, established 1565. It reminded me of Visby but with a Spanish twist. We walked along the main street where they had beautiful old houses, we made a stop for some tapas for lunch and then walked out of to the fort. It was a beautiful day with lots of sun, but very windy. When we were done in St. Augustine we continued driving, but first we stopped by target to get some wifi to book a hotel in Orlando. Which was hare than we thought since we didn't think about that it's the weekend. Most places were sold out but we were lucky to find a room at a hotel that had had some cancellation. We ended up only having to pay $80 for a room 10 min from downtown Orlando with car. On the way to Orlando we stopped for some fro-yo. Then when we got to the hotel we watched mellodifestivalen and ate some chips. I wanted Wiktoria or Jon Henrik Fjällgren and Aninia to win, but Robin's performance was at least better than Nano's.

We decided to sleep two nights in Savannah so we didn't have to check out and drag everything around with us all day. So after breakfast we took the car in to Savannah and walked around. The weather wasn't that great in the morning, it was cloudy and even rained a bit but it got better after a few hours. We started by the river street and then made our way down to Forsyth Park. We walked through a lot of squares, which is small parks/gardens about 2 blocks wide and long with trees and flowers. The Forsyth Park was big with a beautiful fountain in the middle. We went back up again and went by the square where Forrest Gump sits on a bench in the movie, unfortunately they put in the bench for the movie and then took it away again. From there we went to the city market and looked around. Since Savannah is one of the only cities you can drink alcohol outside on the street, we had to het a to go drink, we choose a peach sangria that we all shared, de-li-cous! Our last stop in Savannah was Leopold's Ice cream where they had yummy homemade ice cream. I got an ice cream sandwich (two cookies with ice cream in the middle) with coconut ice cream. After that we decided we were done with Savannah and that it was time to hit the beach so we drove to Tybee Island, which is also the place the filmed the Last song. We laid on the beach for a few hours and took a couple dips in the ocean. The sand was so fine and smooth but it was a bit windy so we all got sand everywhere, our entire body's were covered with a layer of sand. Then we walked along the beach and found the house they used as Miley Cyrus' house in the Last Song. After that it was time for some dinner, we sat on the deck of a restaurant on the beach and shared a shrimp burger, salad and nachos. We walked around a little more after and then started driving back to the hotel, with a stop by the dollar store on the way to get sunscreen, lotion, nail polish and aloe vera. The first thing we all did when we got to the hotel was rinse off all the sand in the shower. Then we watched the season premier of the Swedish let's dance and ate some Swedish chocolate. Tomorrow it's time to drive to Florida.

Woke up to a beautiful day, after some breakfast we checked out and took the shuttle the hotel offered into downtown. We walked around a while, spent a lot of time in the Charleston city market where they had a lot of pretty things. All of us loved some small cookie boxes that had beautiful design. We also saw the Old Slave Mart, where they had slave auctions a long time ago. Every one of us loved the city, it has a lot of history and definitely a lot of beautiful buildings. For lunch we ate at a southern bistro, we had heard that Charleston was famous for their shrimp and grits and she crab soup, so we order that and a arugula salad. It was all so delicious, I really like the shrimp and grits! After lunch we looked in the market a little more before taking the shuttle back to the hotel and then we started the drive down to Savannah. While driving we saw a beautiful sun set, there must be something with sun sets and the south, they're just so stunning here. We stopped at Wendy's for dinner and then got to the hotel after 8 pm.

Today we slept in and didn't really get out of bed until 10 am. When we got to Myrtle Beach last night it was dark so we didn't see the beautiful view we had from our hotel room. We could see the waves hitting the beach, the pier and all the palm trees. After getting ready we walked along the beach and the board walk some before stopping for lunch. Today we had fish tacos and quesadilla and to celebrate the nice weather we got some ice cream we ate fast in the sun. We walked around a little bit more before getting in the car and driving down to Charleston, South Carolina. We parked the car and walked around for a while. We saw the waterfront park which had a pineapple fountain, the rainbow row which was a bunch of colorful houses in a row, pretty pretty. Then we walked along the water for a while enjoying the sun. Before going to our hotel we got some dinner from the grocery store. We decided on sushi, but we couldn't decide which rolls to get, then the sweet guy who was making it said he could make a big platter of four roll of our choosing for $20, score! The luck is definitely with us on this trip, we meet the nicest people. With the sushi we got some cava and Emelie got beer. When we were all checked in we are our delicious dinner and celebrated that girls rule. Before going to bed we watched the end of trolls that we started a few days ago. I also texted some more with Ellie who updated me about their day and told me to come home now, cutie! Jeff (the guy we got to borrow the golf cart from) also texted and asked how our day had been and asked us to stay in touch, such a sweet guy.

We had a great night sleep and some breakfast before saying good bye and thank you to Amanda's host aunt. From there we drove to Wilmington which was about 2 hours away. Wilmington is the city where filmed the tv show One Tree Hill. We saw Peyton's house, Lucas' house and then walked along the riverwalk before having some lunch. We all shared, fish and chips, crab dip, and a spinach salad. After that we did some shopping in a tourist store, I bought a clothes over bros shirt. Then it was time for some more sightseeing, we drove to the bridge where Lucas always walk over with his basketball, the river court, Haley's house which was apparently right next to Peyton, but we missed it the first time. We ended with Brooke's house which was a bit outside of Wilmington since it was much bigger. Next stop was Bald Head Island, we drove the 40 min to the ferry and of course we missed it with a few minutes, but luckily the next one left 30 min later. We got to the island a little before 5 pm and planed to rent a golf cart to drive around since it was a no car island. When we got there we realized the rental place closed at 4 pm since it was low season. We started started asking around when we met Jeff a guy who worked at the Real Estate company on the island. When we asked him if he new a place where we could rent a golf cart he laughed and said that of course everything's closed now, but then he said that "We'll figure something out girls". He checked how much power was left in his golf car and said we could borrow it to look around the the island. He also took us inside their office where we got his phone number and also his coworker's in case something happened. He only thing he warn us about was running out of power, which of course we almost did, the last 500 m we went really slowly but luckily we made it all the way back. During our time of the island we checked out the light house, a view point of the other side of the island where we saw an amazing sun set and we also walked some on the beach and touched the water which we thought wasn't that cold. then at 7:30 we took the ferry back to the main land and drove down to Myrtle Beach where we're sleeping tonight. Before going to bed I texted a little with my cutie pie Ellie, so fun to be able to talk even tough I'm on the other side of the country, it makes it feel a little more okay that I'm going home.

We woke up at 6 am today too after breakfast we packed our things and then drove to Arlington cemetery. There we spent an hour walking around, we saw John F Kennedy's grave and also the Thumb of the Unknown Soldier, which is guarded by a guard 24/7. There was even one there patrolling during 9/11 and hurricane Sandy. From there we drove to the Library of Congress and took a tour in the Thomas Jefferson building.We got to learn about the interior, how it was created and we got to see the main reading room, which is also the room they run around in in National Treasure. Before getting back in the car we had a delicious lunch at Pret Manger OUTSIDE, first outside meal this year! After that our tummies were full and we were ready to head to Raleigh and Amanda's host aunt where we're spending the night. After a lot of driving we got there around 6 pm. She, her husband and her two sons were so sweet and friendly. We got some yummy spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner with lots of wine Then it was time for the boys to go to bed, but before they showed us their room, all their toys and their stuffies. They were so sweet, we each got a goodnight hug and a promise that we could play with their toys when we woke up. When they were asleep the rest of us went downstairs and had some brownie with ice cream and watch the Big Lebowski, which was a little bit weird... After that we were really tiered and went to bed.
