Our dearest friend Maja has finally arrived! We stood at the airport with a sign and welcomed her.

Something she noticed the same time she arrived in india were the attitude men have towards women. So have I. It is a fact that men are above women in all levels. That is a huge different if you compare with Sweden. I wouldn't say that any country have reached gender equality. But, Sweden are one step ahead. The men in india has an attitude that women shouldn't be outside late at night. If they are, and has the bad luck to get raped, the men means that they should blame theirself. (Of course, not all men.) there are many rapes every day in india, which shows how wrong the attitude are against women.

Here are a photo of me and Frida, waiting for Maja's sweet face to show up.

Auf wiedersehen!

I have some really good news, our friend Maja is coming to india, Dehli!! Im so excited to meet her and introduce her to Sven and Gorgen! I dont know exactly when she’s coming but I will let you guys know.

Today we were at a fun park and had a really good time, but as you may have read, Frida has already told you about that. Right now im sitting in our room and Frida is taking a shower. I will tell you about our evening:

We ate at a very cozy indian restaurant, me, Frida, Sven and Gorgen. We all had to try a “real” Chicken tikka masala, an indian dish that is very common both here and in sweden. It was delicious!! After our fantastic dinner we decided to watch some indian dancing. Both boys and girls danced a dance called Odissi. It’s connected to their religion and the dance consists of different moves from the life of their gods. They wore sari’s in different colors and it was so beautiful. Even Frida and I tried those Sari’s but sadly we couldn’t dance…

I really hope that Maja comes tomorrow so that we can be “the swedish-india crew”!!

Now-Bedtime!

see ya

So today Julia and I, Gorgen and Sven met at a cofee shop and decided to plan our next adventure of the day! With a lot of consideration we decided to go to the famous ''funpark'' here in India! The day was awsome and we ( at least I) had a lot of fun! We went on this awesome purple rollercoaster named ''The fearless eagle'' which you can see in the Picture below!

If you think Gröna Lund is crowded with people, you sure haven't been here!

So right now we're sitting at a café eating ice cream, I'm eating a popsicle and the others just ordered waffles so I guess we will be sitting here for a while. So what are you guys up to? Eating lobster or trimming your dog perhaps?

Have I told you that most people in India are vegetarians? It is, as you may know, beacause of their religion, (every living creature is sacred, especially cows) and you can really tell that by their restaurant menues.

Oh! I almost forgot to tell you guys about this crazy thing that happened Gorgen!. We (I, Julia, Gorgen and Sven) were walking down the street when this stranger walked up to us. He said, with his indian accent that he wanted to buy Gorgen for 50 chickens. We were all so shocked by this question that we just started to laugh, I guess the man understood that we would not sell Gorgen cause he walked away right after.  But yeah that was pretty unexpected and would probably not happen in Sweden.

Hope you're doing well / Frida

The second day here is coming to an end and so far were loving it! As Julia wrote in the last post we met 2 awsome guys today! Their names are Gorgen and Sven and we met them at the beer-testing event and we clicked right away! So right now it's half past 3 in the morning and were just about to sleep. India is such an unique country, the people are very polite and kind so we haven't had any problems with getting around (exept for the cab), besides the people in India speaks great english, aside for the pronounciation but whatever

So bonne nuit tout le monde! See ya tomorrow kittens

Hola amigos!!

We are now eating lunch at a very nice restaurant at the beach. Guess what we did this morning.
-we tested beer! I was a little bit skeptical at first, because how good can it be to drink beer in the morning? But it turnt out to be great, and also we have made some new friends!! Sven and gorgen, nice guys!

The breakfast at the hotel were very different from what we're used to. They eat a lot of fried food here, especially to breakfast. I liked it and ate a lot, Frida were a little bit suspicious so when she thought I took a morning-swim at the pool, she sneaked out and bought Mc'donalds!! But she cant fool me.

Something I've noticed here in India, is that so many people are poor. But also so many people have enough money for two. There are so many people and everywhere you go, you can see big differents between the inhabitants. There can be a man laying on the street, looking like he is about to die because of starvation and there are people driving around in porsches. In their religion, hindi, they're believing in caste system, that the man laying on the street is deserving it. It's hard to imagine that they actually think that someone deserves to lay on the street. A huge different from Sweden.

Frida is right now running down to the sea so I have to follow her, I don't know what she will do if I ain't watching her. I'll post a picture at our previous activity with our new friends.

au revoir!

Hello, as the headline says we're finally here! We had some problems finding a cab at the airport, and it was very hot so we decided to take an Indian "taxi". So it took about an hour instead of 20 minutes, which is kind of hard when we've traveled a long way.

Right now we are sitting in the bar with two beers, after a long nap at our hotel. The hotel is lovely and we are so thrilled to stay here for seven days. Tomorrow we will start our adventure in Dehli but I don't know what we will do. Frida wants to go to a pub and taste different beers and I want to start our trip with a visit at the river Ganges! Tomorrow is an unsold mystery!

Something that we've noticed already is that the traffic is crazy!! There are cows walking down the streets and stopping the vehicles. It would be a very big news if a cow walked down drottninggatan home in Stockholm!

I will give you some pictures of our taxi and the hotel we're staying at. Now-sleep!

Thanks for reading and we'll see you tomorrow!

Hi all our readers! Which is none cause we just started this blog.
Julia and I are right now on the plane, heading to India! Luckily the trip has gone well so far, though we're a bit tired cause we had to get to the airport about 5 in the morning, ugh! Anyways, as I said, we're heading to India, to the capital Delhi! The city is said to be very beautiful and colourful so the expectations are high!

Once the plane arrive we will try to get to our hotel as quick as possible, cause were probably dead tired from the long flight and besides, the traffic in India seems kinda crazy and we don't want to get stuck in a 3 hours trafficstop. I can now smell the airplane food so this will have to due for the first blogpost! Alavidā mērē dōstōṁ!
