So I just bought my one-way ticket to Sweden. After four years in the US it's time for me to leave, and go home to chase my dreams. I am finally being cleared to play soccer again next week, and I can't wait to be back on the field again. Where is the only thing I have left to figure out. Once I get home I have a couple of try-outs, and then I'll go from there. Pedro and I go back to having a distance relationship, but after all the time we have already spent apart I trust our love to last. He is such an amazing support through this, and is pushing me to strive for my goals in life more than any person I've ever met. Couldn't have done it without his support.
The past four years have gone by incredibly fast, faster than I could have imagined it would. And I have experienced so much, and made lifelong friends that I will hold close to my heart forever. I'm beyond excited to take this next step in my life. I'm finally growing up.
THANK YOU for all the people I have met, that have made this into a life changing experience. So much love.
My family left, and I spent the last few days im bed with a high fever and most likely strep. Since that stuff heals by itself at the same pace as if I got medicine for it I tried to force myself to eat, but I mostly just slept. Pedro was such a great help to have around! Can't thank him enough.
It was so amazing to have my family here. We went to the beach, we went to Epcot, we hung out and ate good food and just enjoyed each other's company. We will be seeing each other soon enough again!
"What now" is my very first thought. Im proud of myself and my accomplishments over the past four years. It has been a rollercoaster ride, with many ups and downs - but I wouldn't want to change it for anything in the world. I was blessed to play the sport that I love, at the same time as I earned a degree in marketing and economics in a foreign country, for the past four years and Sunday morning I graduated Magna Cum Laude from LaSalle University. This is only the beginning. Thank you to everyone who made this day as amazing as it was; and congratulations to the Class of 2016! We did it.
Classes are done, as well as finals, and I emigrated to warmer latitudes. I get to spend my time with my favorite person in the world, in the sun, and with some of the greatest friends. I love my Florida life. My family lands in Orlando in only a few days, before the trip back up to Philadelphia for graduation next weekend.
We just got back from a morning at the pool with our favorite Spanish family. Since Pedro had surgery on his back he can't travel with the team, but David did. We spent the morning with David's wife Deborah and their son, who might just be the cutest baby in the world, Alejandro. I burnt of course, what else?
Just finished my last Monday of class in college. Last week of class, still can't grasp that we're here already. Philadelphia has blessed us with cold weather and a lot of rain in the past week, which should mean that graduation (May 22nd!) will be warm and sunny. One can hope! Excited to see my family in two weeks, and moving down to Florida won't be too shabby either. Life is pretty great. Last week was hell, with two huge finals within three hours Friday morning, so this week will be a little slower. Presentation Friday, and two finals next week during finals week and then I'm done-zo with college! Time for rehab!! Talk to y'all later 😘

I've got 1 month and three days to figure out how to wear this. Can't believe I'm graduating this soon.. I remember my first day of preseason my freshman year and we were running the 16x100's at Coastal. So much has happened since then, and in 33 days I'm walking across the stage at LaSalle. College has blessed me with new friends, unimaginable challenges, great education and an unbeatable mindset. I'm so ready to be a grown-up (again). Bring it on!
