Quiet weekend this week, stayed at A's place on Friday watching movies and cooking food, as always super cosy! Yesterday I spent the day by myself at home cleaning, doing some washing and ended the night with some movies in bed with a bowl of soup. Woke up to a sunny and cold Berlin and at the moment I'm sitting with a cup of coffee watching the rest of the movie I feel asleep to last night. Hopefully the weather stays like this the whole day!

It have been really nice having a week off work, spending some really nice quality time with A and manage to tick off things that needed to be done after the move.

My room is slowly coming together, it's still lots to do but I'm not stressing, this is the place where I can stay for long, this is now my HOME!

The Berlin post is a birthday gift from my mum and I absolutely love it!

Two weekends ago it was my birthday weekend and my mum came from Sweden to visit me. It was so nice to have some daughter and mother time. We went to a cafe, looked at some art in a museum and went for dinner on the night of my birthday together with A.

I got some really nice presents from my family and a beautiful watch from A. Mum also cooked me a delicious dinner on the night she arrived! Thank you so much everybody for all the love you give me!

Here's some pictures from the weekend.

Started of the weekend with some music and beers at mine together with A on the Wednesday

Dinner at mine on the Saturday with mum

Sorry for bad update! It will come a post with photos from the weekend my mum was here and what I have been up to the last 2 weeks.
At the moment I'm standing in this line to renew my regristration here in Berlin. Getting a new permanent apartment means that I have to write my name on that address. The system here in Germany is a big joke! You have to stand in a line for ages to get a number (if you're lucky), and then it only takes 5 minutes to register. Fingers crossed that I get an appointment today!

Today is the first of November and the weather outside the window is icing cold. I'm sitting in the kitchen eating breakfast and just embracing the feeling I have right now. I finally living in a long-term place that feels like home (moved in three days ago), work is going good and I'm so incredible happy together with A.

The room is still a mess with suitcases, bags and just my mattress. But this week I will purchase a few things at IKEA to make it a little bit more cozy. It will take time to get it exactly the way I want it, but I don't feel stressed because this is where I'm gonna live now, I don't need to move out in a month and live out of a suitcase anymore!

This weekend is also my 25th birthday and I will celebrate it with my mum and A. I can't wait until my mum arrives on Saturday, I miss her so much! I just wish that I could celebrate it with my whole family, I haven't done that in over four years.

Now I'm gonna take care of my mountain of washing, hence I haven't been able to wash my clothes properly for a month without a washing machine. And after that I'm jumping on the Ubahn to work and will be there until 7pm tonight.

Woke up early as always, made a bowl of porridge and the rest of the morning I've been cleaning the apartment. Tomorrow it's 1 week until I move in to my new room and I can't wait to decorate it and make it my own little oasis. Today is my day off work so I'll just stay at home relax and wait for to get home from Italy this afternoon.

In two and a half weeks my mum will come to Berlin and visit me and I can't wait. It's gonna be so nice to see her again and celebrate my birthday, time flies and I can't believe I'm turning 25 years old this year!
