Hi guys! I know I haven't blogged that much the past couple of weeks, but I haven't really felt like doing so either, to be honest. I haven't had any inspiration to write about my day, so I haven't, since I do not want to have any pressure on me that I have to write x number of posts per day/week etc.

I haven't really done that much since I came home either, so you haven't missed much. I've mostly taken it easy, read loads of books, created an Instagram account for books (@ The Silence of The Books), been in my summer house and so on. I've also met up with Linnea again, which was super fun!

But I feel inspired again now, I feel like blogging again. Which is part of the reason why I've now made a whole new blog. It's also because of the fact that I'm not an exchange student anymore, and that I want to keep this blog about this amazing experience on it's on. I don't want it to drown down under hopefully years and years of new blog posts. Plus, the name doesn't match anyway.

The new blog is called Petra Etcetera - @PetraEtcetera - because it's about me/my life, and a bit more. The posts will be very very similar to the posts I've uploaded here, with of course some exceptions. I'll probably write about different things and come up with new ideas, which I guess is pretty obvious.

So I'll leave this blog to it then, and leave it as a kind of scrapbook. I hope you'll like it, and that I'll see you over on my new blog!

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, I've been sick and haven't had much to blog about anyway. I'm currently watching the third season of House Of Cards on Netflix and eating Thai food, yum! Not much has happened today, but I ate seafood for the first time in forever yesterday and oh it was delicious! Eating certain things you haven't eaten in a while really is amazing. Anyway, I'll go back to watching Netflix and eating my delicious dinner now!

I went to London last weekend to meet up with some friends, and to go to the 'Les Misérables' theatre! It was all sooo amazing, except for that we walked totally the wrong way almost always, but hey!

I met up with Signe and Lennart around lunchtime and we then went to Piccadilly to go to some bookstores! We were all looking for some books and found all of them after two stops in bookstores, which was great fun. I bought Volume 3 and 4 in 'Saga' and book 1 and 2 in The Mortal Instruments!

We met up with Signes friend George in China Town after checking into the hotel, where we first ate delicious Chinese food - I ordered noodles and octopus - and then some Bubble Tea! We walked around for a bit before it was time to go into the theatre were we were gonna see 'Les Misérables'! IT WAS SO GOOD. I can't even describe how good it was. It was seriously amazing, definitely a must-see! I've even ordered the book now, and it's like super long. But hey, it was amazing.

We then, after eating an amazing breakfast - for me and Signe, blueberry pancakes -, went to The National Gallery where we spent a few hours. It was so much fun and we also bought home some prints of the pictures.

It was after that time for lunch and while we were walking to the nearest Pizza Hut, we walked by a St. Patrick's parade!

It was then time for me to go to the airport... We hugged goodbye and promised to try to meet up during the summer (it's not far at all to either Norway or Germany if you think about it)! I ate sushi once I was at the airport, and then did some duty-free shopping. I bought a "Streets of London" mug and a Baker Street street sign which I'll hang up in my room!

I've had a lovely weekend and it was such a nice experience! Thank you Signe, Lennart and George for making it so amazing! <3

Hi. Yes, i am indeed alive. Kind of. No, but I'm a bit sick and really tired all the time, which doesn't do my blogging any good. I'll see if I can gather some energy and write a post about my AMAZING weekend in London later today, but right now I'm just gonna take it easy and read for a bit. I just started to read 'Divergent' since I want to have read the second book - Insurgent - before I see the film. It's really really good so far and I'm already almost half way through. I hope you're not as sick or tired as me ~

I've had another awesome day today. Today I met up Micka in the city where we firstly ordered a Frapino (strawberry + white chocolate, which I've by the way been longing for since I left) and a sandwich from Espresso House where we than sat and talked for a while. You know, figuring-out-if-this-is-real-or-not kind of talk.

We then walked around in sunny Gothenburg and talked some more before deciding to sit down and eat some (delicious) brownies. We then took the bus home to me and ate dinner, took a million Snapchat pictures and laughed so much that I later on got a headache. All so very worth it.

I'm just really really happy right now, to be honest.

Everyone asks me why, and here it is:

I felt as if the pressure from school was way too much, especially since I had not expected it from what I'd heard from my organisation. It took way too much energy and time, both which I felt like I didn't have or couldn't give. I didn't want to push myself harder than I'd already had, since I don't know what could have happened then. This, and since I feel like I'd experienced and seen what I wanted to, I decided to come home. I do not regret it, at all. Not coming home, or going away.

"Do whatever you have to do to be happy.
If something's making you unhappy then don't moan about it or spend ages being sad; deal with it. What's making you sad? Change it whatever it is and life is too short to have regrets.
There's way too much fun and joy in the world for anybody to waste their time or their life doing something that makes them unhappy, so go for it.
You are a human with one life and it's up to you to make it the best life you can. Do it." — Dan Howell
