Hey guys! So I just went through what felt like the longest week of my entire life... RECRUITMENT WEEK. For those of you who may not be familiar with Greek Life, universities in the USA have organizations called Sororities and they work together to form a sisterhood and do philanthropy work. Schools have a week or 2 set aside for girls from all over to go through recruitment and meet girls in sororities to find their homes! It's a long, stressful, and even emotional process but trust the system, you end up where you should. I am so excited and happy to say DELTA GAMMA THAT'S WHAT I AMMA. Here's my outfits for each round!

Day 1: Open House Round

Dress Attire: Casual

Open Houses are the least or most intimidating round of recruitment. Luckily, you have the freedom to dress cute and casual.

Day 2: Philanthropy Round

Dress: Dressier than Casual (think meeting up with friends for lunch)

Philanthropy Round is the chance for you to learn about which philanthropy each sorority holds close to their heart.

Day 3: Invitational Round

Dress: Nicer Than a Sundress

Invitational Round (aka Sisterhood Round) gives you a glimpse into what it's like to be a sister of each chapter and what they do within their chapter.

Day 4: Preference Round

Dress: Cocktail

Preference Round is the most serious and sentimental of them all. The chapter will perform a ritual for you and this is the night you will decide which sorority you would like to "Pref" or get a bid from.

Day 5: Bid Day

Dress: ANYTHING

The week is finally over and after talking to tons of girls, getting blisters from your heels, and being a nervous mess... YOU FINALLY GET YOUR BID. We waited to open our cards until 12:40 and hundreds of girls began to jump, cry, scream, and cheer! I am super excited to have found my home! I can't wait to get to know my new 72 sisters and for an amazing next 4 years with them.

So 2017 has come to an end and 2018 is just beginning! I think 2017 was the year for lessons to say the least. The day before Christmas Eve I went to my best friend Kirsten's house and we had a gingerbread house contest with her family. It was me and her, her older sister and her boyfriend, her younger sister, and her parents all competing to build the best house for $100.

Armed with Christmas tree Peeps, white chocolate chips, candy canes, Mike & Ike's, and more candy we were determined to build the BEST house. Of course that meant we had to get creative.

A mint for the window, Mike & Ike's for the Christmas lights, white chocolate chip trim, peppermint Hershey bar shutters, and best of all powdered sugar snow on the roof... safe to say we thought we had this in the bag. Unfortunately (for us) her younger sister who definitely put in the work ended up winning the contest but it was still funny and delicious!

Since I am home for holiday, my mom took off a week so we can spend some time together. Yesterday we went to one of our favorite restaurants, The Grilled Cheese Gallery. I know what you're thinking and yes, it is as good as it sounds. Any type of grilled cheese concoction you could imagine.

I opted for the Mac Daddy which is just a bunch of Mac n cheese inside of a grilled cheese. Can somebody say HEAVEN? They also have Lavender Lemonade which is to die for (it's what unicorns drink).

So for Christmas my sister got me the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette! To be completely honest... I know NOTHING about Jaclyn Hill, but I can say, I LOVE THIS PALETTE. First of all, the variety of colors is insane. The pigment is so nice on your eyes too and they blend so nice!! I was really excited to try this out so for my first attempt I went with a Hot Fire Smokey Eye look. Here's how it turned out....

For someone who is a complete amateur when it comes to makeup... I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with how this turned out. I 100% recommend this palette xoxo

After months and months of wondering where the cold weather was... it's here! Last night we had the first real snow fall & let me tell you, I am already feeling a love/hate relationship with it. While the Winter Wonderland outside of our window is beautiful and a nice change of scenery, walking in the snow and sliding on the ice is NOT fun. Exam Week is finally wrapping up and after a long, tiresome semester I am finally heading back home to the sunshine and palm trees! Next semester I'll be attending University of Miami which is only an hour away from my home. I am beyond excited for this new chapter in my life and grateful for the experiences Penn State gave me these past few months!

Calling all fashionistas and fashionist...os? I am someone who LOVES to shop and by loves I mean I have a problem. Whether it is online and in the comfort of my bed or browsing stores in the mall, I have trouble resisting the urge to grab and swipe my credit card when I see something I like. Money, however, does not grow on trees and I have been looking for sites and shops that will bring out my fashion faves without breaking my bank. Here are some of my favorites...

Rosette Espadrille/Kimmie Espadrille/Carrson Heel/Gaze Bootie/Rosette Espadrille/Norri Boot

Steve Madden has always been my go-to for shoes! Espadrilles, boots, sandals, sneakers they have it all. While some of their shoes can be a tad pricey, most of them are reasonable for how cute and quality they are. They also have sales a lot! Definitely check it out here

Anne Bodysuit/Kelly Denim Jacket/Karla Dress/Robbie Dress

Brandy Melville has the cutest clothing staples and it's CHEAP. The quality is great too! They have t-shirts, skirts, jeans, jackets, dresses! Here are a few of the items on my wishlist right now. Shop for cute stuff here

Suede Envelope Skort/Ribbed Crop Top/Off-Shoulder Pinstripe Top

Henri Girl has all the cute outfits and outfit ideas a girl could want. Some items are a little pricey but they have sales a lot and discounts when you sign up for their emails! I love the tops and skirts from here. This place is key for any formals/sorority/homecoming outfits! Check 'em out here

Bonny Mid Rise Skirt/Amelia Strapless Mini Dress/Amelia Strapless Mini Dress/Tie Waist Short/Bryce Mini Dress/Ruffle Crop Cami/Bonnie Top/Puri Dress

Revolve is definitely the most expensive out of these sites... but their clothes are to die for. These are my Most Wanted items and I am patiently waiting for the sales to start rolling around so I can snag them. This site has items from all the favorites: Lovers + Friends, Tularosa, Blue Life, For Love & Lemons and many more! Go obsess here

My favorite time of the year is finally here! I love December and the all around vibe that comes along with it. Christmas, peppermint, pretty lights everywhere... it's the best. I'm definitely one of those people who starts playing the Christmas music the minute Thanksgiving dinner ends; and now that it's officially December 1st, it is completely appropriate.

These are all of the things that come to mind when I think of the most wonderful time of the year! All of these images were found on Pinterest , give me a follow! Have an amazing holiday season loves xoxo

There were so many things to do while I was back home in Florida... but one thing I had been looking forward to was going to Disney World in Orlando with my boyfriend and his family! They were sweet enough to invite me on their family trip and I couldn't have been happier.

We were planning to stay 3 days, 2 nights. Night 1 we walked around Disney Springs which is the downtown area with a bunch of restaurants and stores! We went to STK which is a super yummy restaurant in big cities like L.A., NYC, and Miami. After dinner we walked around a few stores and got lattes with art in the foam! It was the coolest thing. We also went to Sprinkles and it was aaaaamazing!

Day 2 we spent the entire day at Magic Kingdom! We were at the park for 12 hours (I was exhausted). It was so much fun I felt like a little kid again. We went on a bunch of the rides, watched the firework show, ate yummy foods... what else can you ask for?

The last day we were there, we got lunch at this delicious Asian fusion restaurant! We went into a few more final stores in downtown before we left. My favorite was Sugarboo & Co. the store was FILLED with cute postcards, room decorations, and more!

Needless to say it was a great little getaway. I live very close to Disney so the drive back home wasn't too bad. We filled the time with music and snacks which made everything good. I can't wait to go back!

LIFESTYLE, TRAVEL, THOUGHTS

Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I just went home for a week from college and right now I am currently sitting in the airport trying to pass time between my 3 hour layover at the Philadelphia Airport. More posts on the past week will come but I just wanted to update why I've been M.I.A.

Being stuck in the airport for so long definitely means finding ways to keep yourself occupied to pass the time. Food is always a good go-to and as soon as I got into the terminal I went to Le Bus (a little cafe) to grab a bagel and a vanilla latte! Now I am just writing in my journal and watching a little Netflix. You should bring a book and headphones so you can listen to music or even watch a movie while you wait! It really helps make the time go by quick.

I will share my Thanksgiving Break adventures later on! See ya xoxo
