Yeah, so this past week hasn't been too good. I have had a UTI the whole week.
In the beginning it wasn't bad and I just thought I could treat it without antibiotics but then it got worse and worse. I tried to drink a lot of water, c-vitmin, apple cider vinegar and cranberry juice but nothing really worked. I really didn't want to take antibiotics because it takes away all the bacteria even the good ones. But I tried to treat it naturally without medicine but I started to feel really bad, fever, tired and back pain. And that made me think I had a kidney infection.
I was at the doctor around 10 in the morning and they ran a blodtest and a urintest and they said I had a really bad UTI but the bacteria has not reached the kidney yet so that was good! I got antibiotics Im going to take them for 5 days 3 times a day. I really hope they are not like the other I took in the beginning of the summer when I had my first UTI. Those made me so sick. Lets just hope for the best!

Vegan makeup & beauty tips

There are so many ways to use coconut oil. You can use it for your hair, lips and as a makeup remover to just name some of the ways to can use coconut oil.

Hair mask:
When I feel that my hair is dry specially when its beginning to become winter. I just
start to warm up the oil in my hands and then start in my tips of my hair and work my way up. I either sleep with it in or only have it for a couple hours. Then when I wake up or it has gone a couple hours a wash it out. It will be hard to get it out completely but after like 3 washes with schampoo the most of the oil should be out of the hair. This keeps my hair soft and it helps it with not looking so dry and dead.

Skin and lips
I use coconut oil for my lips and skin to hydrated it.
I use acne cream so my skin can get very dry and I feel that coconut oil is the only thing that makes my skin soft and hydrated for the hole day I'm out. I tried to use hand cream but it burned and only kept my skin
hydrated for a short amount of time. But coconut oil was kind to my skin and lasted longer.

Shaving
You can also use coconut oil as shaving cream. I have used coconut oil as a shaving cream for my legs. But I didn't really like it because it burn a bit. But after I shaved my legs with schampoo or shaving gel my legs would be really dry. So I started to use coconut oil to hydrate my legs after shaving and it keeps my legs so soft!

Nails
When I was trying to stop biting my nails last summer I used coconut oil to help my nails grow. I put the oil on the cuticles and massaged it in. That help my nails grow faster and kept my cuticles from getting dry.

What a vegan eats & recipes

So these pancakes you can see a lot on my Instagram. And a lot of people ask me how to make them so here is the recipe! (1 dl is around 1/2 cup)

Pancakes:

3 dl oats

2-3 dl non-dairy milk

1 ripe banana

1 tablespoon agave syrup

Just put everything in a blender and mix it intill it becomes smooth. If you have a non-stick pan you don't need any oil but if you don't have that kind of pan i recommend to use coconut oil it give the pancakes a great taste!

Choklad sauce:
I just mix cacao with agave sirap. It will look a bit dry in the beginning but just keep on mixing and it will become a smooth!
The topping in the photo is the choklad sauce, granola, cocoa nibs and coconut flakes.
