Hello! So um yeah, I did that whole gluten free thing last week. I can say I really didn't notice any difference. Though I had one reader that said that maybe I should give it a month instead of just a week. Nah, I don't think so. I mean I am not gluten intolerant so going gluten free is just plain stupid. If I would go gluten free I would actually become gluten intolerant.

This is the thing with all these health crazes where you are suppossed to quite gluten, or lactose or whatever the s**t, your body will actually become allergic to it. So it's so unneccesery to do it unless you are actually allergic.

So was there any positive effects from going gluten free for a week? I ate less bread. If that is suppossed to be counted as something positive. I wouldn't say that that's positive because I love bread. Gluten free bread is so expensive and don't get me started on that gluten free fluor. I had a friend who didn't eat gluten (though he wasn't gluten intolerant) who always told me that it wasn't healthy to eat a lot bread. Hahaha, so I guess maybe he would have called this positive.

So I have been looking at houses in LA because a girl can dream, right?! The prices though, yikes! Expensive! I mean I would never pay anything like that for an apartment or a house in Stockholm. But then again they aren't as expensive here as they are on the other side of the pond.

Today I want to share with you my favorite mosturisers. I have dry skin so a good moisturisers is very very essential to me. I have tried many over the years. Right now I have a couple that works really well.

Dove DermaSpa goodness

What I love about the this body lotion is that it not only makes your skin feel incredibly soft is that it also smells amazing! I get compliments on it all of the time. And who doesn't love compliments?! Especially when someone tells me that I smell good because that is so unexpected. You can get it pretty much anywhere. Just check your local grocery store and I am sure that they'll have it!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear oil-free moistrisers

Okay yes I do have very dry skin and that's because of my eczema. Whenever I use facial moisturisers that are for dry skin my poures get clogged. No thanks but I do not want any unwanted zits! This one is great, I mean because my eczema stays the same wheater I use this one or something for dry skin and I have to use kortizon regardless. You can also find this one everywhere.

Ava Fot & Hud Creme

I mostly use this one for my feet. But if you have super dry hands like I do it is an absolute dream for your hands. What I love about this one is that it's cheap! Not so great is that it's hard to find. I know only one grocery store that sells it. But it's kind of close to me anyway.

Urtekram Nourishing Virgin Couconut Oil Body Lotion

I mostly just use it as a hand cream after I washed my hands. But it is also great as a body lotion. It says for normal skin on the bottle but I have dry skin and it works really well for me.

Hello! I am sitting here on my couch watching Dear White People (the TV-series not the movie) on Netflix. Gosh that show is good. Way better than the movie! The movie is great though but the show is greater.

I thought about something earlier that I just have to share with you. It's about finding a good breathing technique while working out. Okay this one is more for right after when you've finished your workout. So you know how right after you finished a heavy workout you breath very heavy because you're exhausted from what you just put your body through. It can sometimes take a while before you can breath like normal again. My tip is that when you have finished your workout you take long and death breaths. This will force your body to breath like this and it will slow your heart rate down way faster. You won't feel so out of breath and tired after a workout if you do it. This will give you back the energy that you put out during your workout.

Try this and let me know if it works for you!

Hello! This weekend (which is a holiday weekend) I will try my best and do some work for this blog. I mean prepare posts and so on. I have noticed that having a full-time job and trying to build a blog on a new platform is very hard. If you do have any suggestions for me about the blog or there is something that you want me to write about because you want to know more about that subject, just comment!

Until next time take care!

So yesterday I bought gluten free oats. I thought that I would try this whole gluten free thing for a week to see if my eczema get any better. Okay they aren't really that bad in the first place, meaning they visually don't look that bad. To prevent them from looking bad I have to use kortizon ointment which makes my face look very oily. Plus using too much kortizon is not good for your skin! It actually makes your skin much more sensitive to the sun and very thin and fragile.

As I said before I don't think that I am gluten intolerant but I am curious to see what quitting gluten for a week will do to my body. On monday I will come back with a report on this.

But hey something that I am also going to try is to switch from shower gel to shower oil. I have used shower oil before and it was great for my skin! Rituals have a few different shower oils. Shower oil is great for dry skin. It mosturizes your skin much better than regular shower gel.

Hello! So I think that I must have told you that I workout every single day. I workout a little more than an hour. I would never workout less than that. I mean this works well for me. The only time I would sweat it out for only 40 minutes if I would take an hour of lunch and work out during the time instead of eating. But no, I like it this way.

As I have said before I only work out at home in my living room. I follow videos on youtube. There are all kinds of workout videos on youtube. I am sure that you you want to try it you will find something that suites you.

My workout schedule is quite simple. I do yoga Monday through Wednesday and cardio (that focuses on the butt and thighs) Thursday through Sunday. It is not more complicated than that. But, I also do the plank everyday. the plank is good for overall body strength. I eight minutes of the plank everyday. Two minutes, rest for a few seconds and repeat four times. Try that everyday and you will notice significant changes.

Have a nice Sunday all!

So the other day a colleague of mine said something really interesting. She avlida eating gluten because she's gluten sensitive. Every time she eats gluten her atopic eczema gets worse. What I thought was interesting was that I too do have atopic eczema all over my face. The only thing that work is kortizon ointment. But using that too much is not good for your skin. For a minute there I though that I might be gluten sensitive. I never knew that if you allergic or sensitive towards gluten you could get eczema or raches. You learn something new and interesting everyday. The more I googled gluten allergy the more I don't think that is it. Sure I have a few symptoms that is consistent with gluten allergy. Having only two symptoms the change that I actually have it is very small.

The thing about my eczema is that they are better during the summer when the weather is better and it's warm outside.

So what is gluten? Gluten is a protein that you can find wheat, rhye and barley. When you are allergic to gluten your colon can't process it propperly and eventually you can get malnurished. A few signs of gluten allergy is stomach problems (such as diarrhea, gas and bowel movements), eczema and bilisters in your mouth.

Since I blogged about vitamin C the other day I thought I would write a post about it's buddy iron. Vitamin C and iron are very good together.

The thing about vitamin C and iron is that vitamin C helps your body absorb the iron in your food 10x better than usual. So whenever you are eating anything that has a lot of iron remember that it is good to eat something that also contains a lot of vitamin C. This is especially important if you are eating fruit or vegetables because your body can't absorb the iron in them as good as it can with iron in meat. But certain food (such as coffee, milk and te) can actually make your body absorb less iron. That is something to think about as well.

Good to know that if you have iron deficency you might feel tired and easily annoyed, depressed and cold all of the time even though you're in a hot place (kind of like when you are freezing when you have a fever).

So what can you eat that contains a lot of iron? Well you can eat iron tabletts. But I prefer the natrual way and eating real food that natrually contains a lot of iron. Below I will list my favorite foods and how much of it you need eat of it to get your daily dosage (9mg/ day - women who are fertile should eat 15mg/ day) of iron.

* 85g of dark chocolate (<70%) = 10,12mg
* 130g of chia seeds = 10mg
* 100g of sesame seeds = 15mg
* 200g lentils = 14mg
* 200g dried apricots = 16mg

I have another did you know for you all. So did you know that when you wash your face you should wash it twice? The first time that you wash it you only wash the surface. The second time that you wash it you "deep" clean your face and actually cleanse your pores. So remember that you need to wash your face twice to really clean it.

But (because there is always a but) if you have sensitive skin I wouldn't recommend that you did this. Washing your face too much can actually cause more irritation and breakouts. Know that acne isn't because you have dirty skin, it's because of hormones. That's why you get so much acne during puberty.

Have a nice evening!
