Makeup, Todays look, Inspo

It is officially the month of October and that means Halloween is coming 🎃
I’m really going to try to do as many looks as possible so if there is something special that you want to see, please feel free to comment 😊

For my first look I did a clown look that doesn’t require any special effect makeup. I used a pair of black lenses from Partykungen.se but other than that I only used eyeshadows, eyeliner and liquid lipstick.

I had the pleasure to be invited to a lunch in Paris (or at least it felt like it). We got to see some of the fall news; True Match will be available in 11 more shades (21 total), a True Match mineral powder , a True Match concealer , their brow pomade and the Lash Paradise .

I have worn and loved True Match foundation for a long time and I can't wait to try the new concealer with it.

Lina Ekh that is Lorèals official makeup artist and ambassador in Sweden also shared her best tips for getting the best color match for you and I thought that I will share them with you too 🙊

There are 3 tones; warm (W), neutral (N) and cold (C) and here's a few tips that will help you pick the right one for you to avoid that whole line on the jawbone situation:

1⃣ Do you like to wear silver, gold or both when you wear jewellery?
If you most often like to wear silver you are most likely to be a C, cool tone
If you mostly wear gold jewellery you're most likely a W, warm tone
And if you mix and match both silver and gold you probably are a N, neutral tone.

2⃣ The wear test
Go to the store (preferably makeup-free) pick up the number you think is matching you (I for example wear the number 3), then pick the C, W and N and draw a line of each on your jawbone and blend them out a bit with either your fingers, a beauty blender or a brush.
For most people one of the shades will blend right in to the skin and the other two will look either ashy, too light or yellow/orange.
- There are, however some people that can pull of all the shade, if so, lucky you! 😊

Thank you Loréal, Adviral and Lina for an amazing lunch and I can't wait to try out and review the products.

Lips, Makeup, EOTD - eye of the day, Lashes
Dark lips is always a good idea in the fall.

Hi guys, I hope that you've had a great weekend. I've just been resting after my time in the hospital. I went back to the dentist on Saturday so I thought that I would put on some makeup and take some photos. I'm so glad that I finally start to feel better but I really notice that I have to take it easy to not feel bad again.
Anyway, fall has come to Sweden and I always love a dark lip in the fall. I got these metallic matte liquid lipsticks a couple of days ago and I just had to try some out. This one in "Burgundy Bite" is definitely a favorite.

I'm loving this red lipstick from October Stockholm. It has the perfect red shade that is not too warm but not too cool either. They have a beautiful shade range (some of them shown above) I also love their nudes (big surprise there 🙄😂)

The name of the red lipstick is "true red" 💋💄

Favorites, Monthly Favorites, Skincare

Here's a few of my skincare favorites as of right now.

If you have read my blog or followed me on social media for a while you would know that I love Swiss Clinic. I love their roller, day- and nightcreme (pictured above) and of course their serum 😍

Another moisturizer that I have loved for years is Clinique moisture surge (moisture surge intense pictured above). A gel-like consistency that sinks in to the skin super fast and does not feel sticky at all 🙌🏼

Another thing that I really have been enjoying this past year is sheet masks in all shapes and sizes. It started with Peter Thomas Roth's gold sheet mask and then Sephora came out with amazing ones as well. Super easy, time efficient and really fun. I also love to bring these while traveling 😊
