Emma & Pär have been visiting us the whole weekend and London has really shown its best side - blue sky and sunshine! Oxford Street and Harrods was (ofc) on the agenda on Saturday after a boozy birthday dinner for Pär on Friday evening.

Also had some time to stroll along Notting Hill and the Portobello Road Christmas market. The plan was to try brunch at Granger & Co, but the line was estimated to take 1,5 hour!!

As usual, been eating too much. We were not disappointed with the brunch at Daylesford - highly recommend this organic café. Went to SOHO for Saturday dinner and ended the night with drinks at AQUA (drinks with a view!).

Love having my bestie in town!

It's freezing outside!! So what better way to handle the cold than with a Mexican dinner?! My friend Ebba took me to Santo (299 Portobello Rd, Notting Hill, London W10 5TD) the other night, to try "The best ceviche in London". All the food was amazing! Especially the guacamole and the Pastor Taco (pork with pineapple and coriander!!).
The place was very quiet this Tuesday, but rumours told me that this is the place for load music and salsa during weekends.

Ebba convinced me to try their Frozen (minus 3 degrees outside, what were we thinking?!) Strawberry Margarita, even if I'm not a big fan of tequila. It was delicious, but the mulled wine we had at the Electric Diner before dinner was more my cup of tea though. I just love that they serve mulled wine at the pubs now! Still searching for the saffron buns!

London is so pretty right now with all the Christmas decorations (no snow needed!). Went to SOHO for dinner with Jennifer the other night and passed by Regent St and Carnaby St. All the lights just makes you so happy!

Jen and I went to Yalla Yalla (12 Winsley St, Fitzrovia, London W1W 8HQ or 1 Green's Ct, Soho, London W1F 0HA) for some Lebanese food. I would recommend the tasty and colourful food (sorry no photos! was too hungry and had too much gossip haha), but the place itself is nothing special. Take away next time.

So, ate way too much of everything this weekend. Started with Tommi's Burger Joint (342 King's Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 5UR) on Friday with a tasty chicken burger. Followed by (a true American!) Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday. 20 people and a big turkey - success! Thanks to all the amazing hosts!

Yesterday Emma invited me over to her American friends house for some Gingerbread decorating and home made mulled wine. I love this creative way of hanging out. And how amazing are the result?! ;)

Can you believe we ended this weekend with pizza? I had a yummy Califlower Pizza (!) from Pizza Express.

Serious shopping today! Took a stroll along Regent Street and Oxford Street, but the final goal was the specialized shop Totally Swedish (32 Crawford St, Marylebone, London W1H 1LS) for some Swedish treats. And we weren't disappointed! Ended up with two big bags of gingerbread, gingerbread dough, sour milk, candy, yeast, crisp bread and more! Bikini season officially over.

And I know, I'm obsessed with colourful doors.

Unnecessary shopping today: Red Feather Pen (£10.00 at Anthropologie). Still an useful interior detail!

Also got some fresh hand made soaps from LUSH - Sultana of Soap and Magic Wand are my favourites of today.

Since our flight back home was from St Lucia and there were no direct flights from Bequia, we had to go by boat first to Mustique, and later by plane from Mustique towards to St. Lucia. Mustique is a private Caribbean Island, located next to Bequia. We spent the day at the Cotton House. How beautiful is this place?! I like every single detail about this hotel.

Spoiled ourselves at the beach bar with delicious food (the pickled watermelon with nuts was amazingly tasty), fruity drinks and a dreamy view.

During the guided tour around the Island, we saw so many turtles - everywhere! They really seem to like this Island (like why should they not?).

Are these two shops the cutest one ever spotted? PINK HOUSE offers a luxury selection of fashion, but I have to admit, I liked the exterior better.

Mustique must be one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, and just love the history and celeb/royal gossip about this Island.

Took the ferry to Kingstown on St. Vincent yesterday for a change of scenery. It takes about an hour to cross from Bequia to St. Vincent, and the ferry was in fact an old Norwegian ferry. The signs onboard were still in Norwegian, how exotic?

The street of Kingstown had lots of buzz going on, colourful houses, stylish gals and reggae school buses... I would really like to return to explore more of the nature of St Vincent - the island has both a famous old botanical garden and black sand beaches (from the volcano!).

Thanks for lending me the red dress Jen, love it!
