School started a while ago now and we've been starting to get into routine. We went hiking for the first time and it was so much fun. Washington is such a beautiful place. It's also a very significant place for rock and grundge music. So far We've been to two concerts. First Pierce The Veil who were incredible live, and then Blink182 and A Day To Remember. They were also good but I hadn't listened to them before.
We spent the weekend in Montana with my host moms family and although the car ride there took a while. It was definitely worth it. We visited Glacier National Park for some hiking, stayed in a cabin near Lakeside and had a great time. I got to shoot a gun for the first time, which was exciting and scary. Thankfully my host moms side of the family we're very safety aware and taught me about handling a gun safely.
Camp was an absolutely amazing experience. Unfortunately I didn't film a lot because it felt a bit odd to film around so many people. I'm getting better at i though. Many of the clips I did film also turned out to be very shaky which cut the video a bit short. Anyways camp lasted for 10 days, we lived at a small collage campus in Philadelphia called Muhlelnburg college. We were sorted in to 4 "pretend" high schools that competed against each other in different activities such as the pep rally showed in the video. You get to meet a lot of new people with insight into different cultures & prepare for your exchange year with them. You definitely get to practise your social skills for the upcoming school year in America. All around an unforgettable experience.
