Woho, home from one job only to dig straight into another. Not to complain, they do pay me sufficiently, but today I'm exhausted. At my day-job we have a little drama queen and she's really not helping out at all. So I have to work for lika five people alone sometimes it feels like... But not to complain, love the rest of our team and things gets done properly so it's worth it ;)

I had a great weekend though, with amazing weather and finally a break in all the rain! Andy, me and Mange went out on Friday to dance Salsa. My second time and this time it just did not work. At all. So I got super frustrated and only danced Bachata instead. I kinda like it more than Salsa haha. Maybe cause that's like a huge amount of body contact and I've been living alone since like april... Anyway, we had fun but I slept until 13:15 the day after! Who goes out on a Friday really? That's like the night of the week I'm the most tired. God, I feel this just has a negative tone to it so I'll stop here and get some work done instead. Hopefully that goes better!

Lately, like really recent I've picked up two new hobbies that I'll try to keep up and improve on. I started to paint a bit, not good but I'm trying :) Secondly is I started to dance again! And oh boy how I've missed it!!! There's one thing going out to a club and shaking you ass and waving your arms to the music totally unorganized but last night Andy brought me to Bailongu to learn Salsa and Bachata. I stopped dancing bugg before moving to BCN, like 5-6 years ago and I only danced a tiny bit of Salsa with an ex over 3 years ago so imagine how rusty I was hahaha. But it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

Barcelona might be the capital of pickpocketers but at salsa clubs everyone leaves their jackets, bags, phones lying around and when you go dance all your stuff will be there when you get back. Just that's pretty amazing on its own! Anyway, about yesterday, Andy and I took a glass of wine at a bar where he explained some different styles, like LA and Cuban style and the difference between salsa and bachata. When the club opened we went through the basic steps on our own and then threw ourselfs onto the dance floor. Everyone dances with everyone and if you're shy, or like me pretty much suck, there's guys working there to dance with everyone so you'll never have to miss a dance! Bachata was my favorite :D Maybe because you were so close to someone else it was merely impossible not to follow them, I'm pretty good at taking the lead otherwise hahah.

To sum it up, I missed dancing more than I realized and I can't wait until next time!

When I came home at 4:30 in the morning - high on endorfins after dancing for hours!

Hi there, unintentional blog pause. Sorry about that. I've been wanting to write but every time I sat down to actually do it I was like "meeh... later.." you cannot believe the motivational dip I got in! So much drama at work but these last to weeks the drama's been home sick so I haven't been completely drained on energy which has of course been lovely! Anyways, I just hope that I'll stay this happy and motivated for a while cause I sure have been missing it ;)

Okay Monday's always gonna be Monday. A little harder to get out of bed and a little longer day but I try to do the best of it and what's better than to start with an amazing breakfast? I skipped and ate some Greek yogurt and cereals at work but I always eat this amazing sandwich every weekend and I thought I'd share it with you.

You'll need:
Bred
Aioli
Avocado
Bacon
2 Eggs
Goat cheese

I fry the bread in some olive oil until it's crispy on both sides, spread a thin layer aioli and then mash one half of an avocado on the sandwich. Fry the bacon and then the eggs. I usually don't add any extra oil or butter but let the eggs fry in the leftover fat from the bacon. Fry the eggs how you want but I always flip them and keep the yolk intact. Then I top it with 3 thin slices of goat cheese. Serve with a glass of orange juice and you don't have to eat until night!

Okay, so my updating here hasn't been on fleek lately. So this weekend I'll try to make it up to you all and write and plan some posts for the following weeks. Hopefully it won't echo quite so empty in here then haha.

Today I woke up feeling a little ill so after taking Akira out we wnt back to sleep for a few hours before breakfast. Then we spent a few hours catching up on Swedish Idol. They have a new jury this year, Quincy Jones III, Fredrik Kempe and Nikki Amini. AND THEY*RE AWESOME. This season is the best in the history I'd say, I've laughed out loud, really loud, so many times cause they're so funny. Kinda wanna marry Quincy cause he's so funny and I have no prob baking chocolate balls and "hallongrottor" every day haha! Too bad he's born the same year as my mom and even though age is just a number even I have my limits and that's sadly beyond pushing it...

And now mom's gone :( we had a few great days and I prioritized that over updating here. Sure you understand. Next time I'll meet my family is Christmas so that feels a bit long but it's only 14 more Mondays and that I can take. I'll update you more tonight once I'm home from work :)

Whoooop it's Friday! And today's a very special day cause my mom is coming to visit me today and it's also the birthday of the man I admire the most in the world, my dad! He stays home so he can cook for my sister and let the cats in but I think he's pretty okay with that 😊

I've started to watch GOT again and it's so freakishly amazing so I've neglected everything else, except my dog ofc! But I had to pay for it last night when I had to clean to prepare for moms arrival. Damn it was so dirty and a real mess! How come it's SO hard to hang your clothes in the closet and fold things nicely? I like having everything on display in a pile on my desk, then I can instantly see what I have. More or less at least haha

Now my break's over and I have a meeting I have to prepare for! Gotta think about something else than "did I put the envelope with my keys in the right mailbox so mom finds them?"

Omg that was an intense Monday! And weekend!

After work on Friday I met up with Emelie and we went shopping for food before picking up Akira. We ate sushi and watched a movie "Life as we know it" I think it's called... Googled and yes, that's correct. It's a really good movie and we were supposed to eat cheese and drink wine afterwards but we were tired and fell asleep instead.

Saturday morning started with a loooong breakfast. We had pancakes, strawberries, watermelon, grapefruit, fresh orange juice and cava. Cava is the Spanish equivalent of Champange. So we spoiled ourself a little before all three of us took the metro down to the city. Emelie headed home and me and Aki went to Felicia and dropped off our stuff and Akira paitently waited there while we took a quick trip to IKEA. Really annoying that I always forget to tell them not to put any roasted onion on my hot dog but what to do. I just had to scrape it off. Other than that it went great. I got my kitchen towels I so very much needed, a scentended candle, some tupperware and a flower pot. Oh, and Akira got a soft and cuddly rat as well! Can't go anywhere without buying her stuff haha

Anyways, after the transport guy took us and all of Felicias stuff home I took Akira to the parc next to her flat to throw some balls and play around. When she was tried we walked back home where chinese food was delivered. The worst food experience of my life haha it was so bad! It litteraly tasted nothing. Nothing at all! How is that even possible?? To take away ALL flavors haha. Oh well, the cava from Casa Lolea was as usual to die for so we were happy. We saw The legend of Tarzan in the worst possible quality so I think we missed half the movie where we didn't hear anything or saw a single frame as it was only dark. The half we did see didn't impress but I'm gonna give it a new chance when I can see it in HD. We were supposed to go out for a drink but almost fell asleep so I took the metro home around half past one. On Sunday we did nothing but went for walks and slept or watched series.

AW beer - Andy's dog Happy - Pretty nice sunrise from home

Hi, I've had one of those days. You know when your motivation is down on negative and everything just seems to go the opposite of your way. That kind of day. For an entire week!

That's why I haven't updated anything here cause after work I've just wanted to walk Akira and watch suits haha! Except for yesterday, then I actually decided to de-frost my freezer. How many adult point don't you get for that?! At least a thousand haha.

To be fair Wednesday was pretty great! But we went for an AW beer and in Spain that means at least 3 since a beer only cost 0.6€ ;) so when I came home with Akira we went straight to bed!

But today was the culmination of the week when I first overslept but managed to walk from home on time, I missed two trains, my food (fish and dill sauce) had leaked in my entire bag over all my things and when I was gonna eat breakfast I was out of cereals 😂 do I need to say I can't wait to get out of here today? Gonna meet on of my best friends and former colleague Emelie for a cozy night! We're gonna cook and watch a movie, very much needed quality time!

Omg what a weekend! I haven't had a single ounce of energy left. The night between fri and sat Akira got diarrhea from hell. So we were up pretty much all night. But since I had Laika here too I still had to entertain her so were were out walking almost 7 hours all saturday. So in between all these walks I tried to eat a little and then nap when I got the chance. At night Bea came and picked Laika up and brought some pills for Akira so she managed to sleep through the night but I was too worried to sleep so it didn't help me much. So yesterday I just binge-watched PLL and took some easier walks with Akira. And boy, I've never appreciated her more than yesterday! She's so easy to deal with, so sweet and so obedient! My good girl :)

So after this weekend I had a heavy Monday morning with a metro-ticket incident and then I ran into an armed mossos police before finally arriving to work 15 min late... Do I need to say I'll just pick up Akira and then go straight to sleep hahaha

All days can't be fun and exciting! Hope for a better day tomorrow after a good nights sleep :)
