Now the Christmas feeling starts to grow even here in Santa Barbara, they have put up Christmas lights almost everywhere and in the stores you can hear all kinds of Christmas songs. I haven't really realized that tomorrow is the first day of December just because we have so much going on in school at the moment. Tomorrow is or last day with real lectures, after that we only have Finals week left before we can have our awaited Christmas break.

SBCC has actually made a anti-stress activity schedule, with lots of activities that helps us think on something else than just assignments and tests. A fun idea that could help a lot of students. One activity that they have arranged to prevent the students from getting to stressed is dog-cuddling. So yesterday they had a number of Anti-stress puppies that you could cuddle with at the library. So cute that the school arrange things like that.

Today we have spent most of the day down town in the stores trying to find the best deals. The main goal was to find Christmas presents for the family back home, and I actually manage to find something for everyone. So now I don't have to buy the Christmas presents the day before Christmas (Which I usually do every single year). Plus I found some new clothes to put in my wardrobe, it really felt like it was time for that.

The rest of day have been spent by the computer, trying to get some of the schoolwork done. Maybe not the most fun thing to do on a Friday, but with a much needed pizza break at our friends it felt like a perfect end of this "school" week.

So now I want to tell you about another country that it in the top of my dream destinations!
The Maldives!
I believe that the Maldives is one of the most beautiful places we have here on this planet and I think that many of you can agree on that point. The lovely white beaches and the coral blue ocean that is just outside your own tropical bungalow. I love the sun and the ocean, and I can't get enough of all the colorful animals down in the blue.
So the only thing I have to do next is to earn some money (or a lot) and pack my bikini for some adventure in paradise.

I can´t believe that I have been here for over 2 months now! And it´s only a few weeks left of this semester! The time just fly by here, but I´m really looking forward to going home. Miss my baby sister, but I must say that I will miss this place. It´s nice to know that I'm coming back, because I really love Santa Barbara! The atmosphere, the ocean, the collage and all the wonderful people.

Here is some photos from my powerwalks around the city. And also one picture of my new baby, my nutribullet. Which I actually don't need, but LOVE how simple it is to use. So now I can make a lot of new healthy smoothies, yum.

It´s already Friday, the weeks just fly by!! Today have been a quite lazy day, which was exactly what we needed. We started our day with a Swedish brunch with some close friends, Swedish pancakes and lots of girl talk (can´t get better than that). After that we went done to the pool and enjoyed it while the sun actually was out. And it feels so good that I still can go in dresses and shorts when it´s November, love it!

I also got some pics from the family back home in the cold. Miss all of them, so it feels really good to get some pictures of what's happening in their lives. It´s going to be really nice to go home and see them during Christmas!

Next thing on my bucket list is Glowworm Caves in Waitomo, New Zealand.

Okay, glowworms doesn't sound that nice if I should be honest and I can´t say that I like caves just because you feel trapped! But I most say that this looks magical and I would love to go here some day. New Zealand is one of the countries that is high ranked on my list of places I want to visit. The nature is amazing and the people that lives there seems to be lovely. Are you feeling inspired?

So for the first time in my life I celebrated my birthday in another country, and it was wonderful. Have such great friends who surprised me in the morning with cake and waffles, best start of the day! After that we went down town to eat a lunch and just enjoy the day. It was a really nice break from all the midterms and papers that we have had in the past couple of weeks. Also got a present yesterday from my roomie, which was to see Ouija! Fun experience, but I'm terrified of scary movies so it isn't something that I usually would see. It was really scary, but at the same time a really good movie over all. So I don't know if I will survive Halloween now, just hoping there will be no clowns in Santa Barbara.

One other thing that I have on my bucket list is to visit Thailand in November to be a part of the lantern festival that they have every year. I seems so magical to see the lantern float away with all the problems from last year and welcoming the new. The picture says it all.

One thing that are on my bucket list here in United States is climbing the Cables at half dome in Yosemite. It´s a 14.2 miles (22.7 km) hike up and down the hill and the view is amazing. Last summer we almost made it up,  but we missed the cable just because we didn't have the time to go the last part. But next summer we going back and I hope we get the chance to make the hike to the top.

Hi,

As most of you already know I moved to Santa Barbara for this great big adventure, starting collage. It felt like it was time for me to try something new and I don't regret my decision to move to this lovely place. The pictures bellows shows you a part of my new home, where I spent a lot of my time.

But now you're probably wondering why I started my own blog? Yeah it is a good question. I'm probably not the person you imagine to see as a blogger, but it could be fun to learn more about it. Plus we have this extra credit in school where you are supposed to start your own blog and post something fun every week, all the way to Christmas. So I will focus mostly on traveling, places that I have been to and places that I want to visit. Maybe there will be some posts about my life here as well.
