Last week I did not post anything here because I was on a weekend camp with my orienteering club.

I haven’t had any homework this week because we had work experience. I was on a nursery with fifteen amazingly nice children between the ages of two and six. It has been really nice to get home and just relax and don’t have worry about school work. I think my body was in need of that since I hadn’t got a lot of sleep the week before nor during the weekend camp.

I played around yesterday and created this little corner which I ended up loving.

I have also made this minaturetravellers notebook/ bullet journal/ blizzard book which I think looks really nice.

Before I set up my monthly spread I make a monthly summary where I write down things that went well and what I want to improve and how I can incorporate that into my bullet journal. I look through my previous monthly spread to see if there’s anything that I feel like I don’t need. For example: in October I used a mood tracker but I didn’t feel the need to use it and I didn’t get anything useful out of it so for my November spread I decided to skip the mood tracker. I also wrote on my summary that I wanted to work more to increase my flexibility (I am very non-flexible) and to help with that I try and do some Yoga every day so I added that to my habit tracker.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I am particiating in the #bohoberrychallenge for November and the topic is planning and I am really excited to make it through the entire month.

Also, we are only three followers away from 50 on Instagram @dollhouse_builder and when I hit 50 followers I will publish my new website.

Have you by the way noticed that it is now one year and two days since I started my blog?! Happy late birthday to DollhouseBuilder!

Flexibility. In my opinion it is one of the best features of the bullet journal. One week you can make one layout and the next one a totally different one or none at all. Even though I have the choice to do different layouts every week I seem to keep to one that is pretty much the same every week.

This is what most of my weeklies look like. On the left page you can see a grid which I use as a calendar. I write the days of the week and the numbers. On the right side of the numbers I  write down different things that will happen in school and when my homework has to be finished and other due dates. On the left side I write down everything that is not school related. On the right page you can see a list of things. This is where I write down what homework I have in each subject. At the bottom of the page I have a blank space that I can use for various things. If the schedule will be a bit different then I write down the schedule and some weeks when I feel artsy I make a little sketch or painting.

I have recently discovered that snail mail can be so much fun! I’ve got a few pen pals and received my first letter this week. To get to know someone from the other side of the world through pen and paper is really cool and thinking about that a person have sit down and taken some of their time to write a letter to you. The fact that you can decorate the letter and send small things to each other is a great bonus as well.

I got this beautiful colouring page from my pen pal.

Hello guys! I’ve had a motivation and inspiration lack so I haven’t posted in a really long time.

For September I have been using my bullet journal very frequently and it has been working out really well. Since October starts tomorrow, I thought it could be a good idea to show you my bullet journal setup for the month.

To increase my creativity I also started painting with watercolour. I find it really relaxing and fun to paint.

It all started a normal day when me and my family were in our summer place. I went on Pinterest and saw a lot of pictures of travellers' notebooks that people used for planning and organising and I felt like "I can make one myself!". I didn't want to spend money on it so I thought about what I've already got. I got an idea and I was ready to try it out but there was one problem: The things I needed was at home and the only thing I could do about it was to wait until we were going home to re-pack. When we finally got home I was so excited to try it out and here it is!

To those of you who don't already know what a travellers' notebook is, it's a cover in which you put different inserts in that stays in place with elastics. Inserts can be notebooks but also folders and sticker holders; everything your imagination can come up with.

In my travellers' notebook I want to have one insert for planning, one for lists, one for blog stuff and a folder for sticky notes and maybe a tiny ruler.

Last week me and my family went to England for four days. The first day we went to Warner Bros Studio Tour - The making of Harry Potter. It was a lot of cool things in there for example small paper versions of of Hogwarts and many of the other buildings in the movies. The next day we saw the Queen's Guard and Big Ben in London. Then we went to Oxford and I got a schleich dog for my dollhouse.

This weekend I've done a few things in my planner. I've made some dividers, one for planning, lists, school, my blog, paintings and drawings, extra paper and one for other stuff. I've also made a Books to read page and a colour code system.

This is some of my weekly spreads. Since it's almost summer break, I haven't got a lot of homework and therefore I don't need a lot of space in my weekly spreads. I've tried different ones because I want to see which one I like the most. When I start eighth grade in August I will probably have much more homework and also more space for writing it down.

Hi! I hope you are having a creative weekend. I'be been on a trip with my choir to Norway so I haven't been able to craft anything but I've planned a bit in my DIY-planner and I have also made some sketches like the turtle in this picture.
