For my family and friends in America reading this blog, I thought I'd do a quick update on my life now. I just came back from Portugal yesterday and it was an amazing vacation. Really a good way to get used to being back home, and was lovely spending so much time with my closest family. We basically just worked on our tan, hung out by the beach or pool, went sailing, talked for hours, and had long evenings on the balcony with good food and wine. I feel like I've adjusted pretty well to being back in my home country - even though I haven't even been back in Sweden yet -, and the homesickness for America is going away day by day. I'll be spending a few days in Copenhagen, but on Sunday I finally get to go home and see all my friends, sleep in my bed, and enjoy Swedish summer. I'm going to enjoy my time there like crazy, cause they'll be my last weeks living at home with my mom. Then, on August 1st I officially move in with my older sister in Copenhagen, and I have to start paying bills, cooking dinner, and doing my own laundry. It's all extremely overwhelming, but I know I can do it. I just survived a year by myself across the world for gods sake!! On August 17th I have my first day at my new high school and the first day of three years of tons of fun. Very exciting and also very scary!
I'll try to update my blog once in a while during the summer, cause I know my Grammy in Florida wants to know how I'm doing. So I promise there'll be some pictures of my room, house, friends, new apartment, and adventures. I miss you all and hope you're doing well.
