So last week my lovely boyfriend took me to Amsterdam for my birthday! This made me so happy because it's one of my favorite cities and every time I go back I fall more in love with the place. As we had both been, we decided to do some tourist spots we hadn't done before. Whilst walking around all the canals, hopping off trams to try some quirky shops and restaurants, we managed to experience the Anne Frank House + Museum, the Heineken tour, Supperclub and the Bijenkorf.

Doughnut fan?

Then you must visit PEEJAYS! (Image below) This place is where dreams come true. They have every icing flavor and topping imaginable, and their coconut lattes are delightful.. It's interior is very dutch, simplistic and also very 'instagrammable'.
I've spent the last three months being vegan, but I allowed myself a cheat day in Amsterdam. So I went all out and had pancakes for breakfast and a doughnut for lunch. Naughty.

The dreamy shop below was a fashion boutique I stumbled across walking down one of Amsterdam's many canals. The boutique was called 'Catwalk Junkie' and it was the prettiest little place that sold some lovely pieces.

A few weeks back myself, my mum and some girlfriends explored the world of floristry and tried out a bouquet arrangiment class at XOXO florist in Peterculter. Now before you think this would be a simple, fun class - it was actually very tricky. There is a lot more to floristry that I never would of known before this lesson.. There is so many intricate details you have to consider beforehand to create that perfect bouquet so you have to be patient with experimenting. However, the teacher was lovely and very patient, and overall the whole class was very enjoyable! I will forever appreciate a pretty bouquet knowing just how much effort that can go into that perfect bunch!

(tip) this would make a sweet gift for someone who has an interest in floristry, but I would recommend doing it with a group or a pair.
🌺 Here is some snaps of the day 🌺

So I'm not usually a hat fan, but the baker boy hat just did it for me.  After a good search on the usual sites such as Miss Guided and ASOS, I found this soft wool one from Topshop. Think I will try a beret next.
