If anybody knows me , they know I'm a HUGE baby fan. I have many important babies in my life, and right now I miss them all so much !!! I haven't had baby cuddles in over a month and I'm going a little crazy. So instead I've been scrolling through all my photos of my precious babies. This picture is of my cousin Eden, she is the daughter of my cousin Lynn & her husband Chris . I just love her so much! I love all babies , any shape, any size , any age , any personalities. My favourite things about babies are ... the cuddles, the soft skin , the smell , the giggles , the crawling , smiles , the messy eating ... everything ! I know it's easy for me to LOVE all the good stuff about a baby because I'm not a mom.. I don't get the bad parts ( sleepless nights.. etc ) but honestly those little humans make the world a better place . Imagine a life without babies ? I wouldn't wanna live in it . I am so excited to be a mother one day , but right now isn't the best time for me .. I want to be near my family and friends when I have babies & I want to have babies at the same time as my sisters.

Last year matt was playing hockey in San Diego, for the gulls . Living in San Diego was a freaken DREAM. We were so lucky to be living in one of america's most beautiful cities. The hockey season started in October and went until May. We lived in an amazing apartment complex called "the village mission valley" it was insane. It was basically like living in a resort , with 5 pools. Everyday consisted of laying out by the pool or wandering near the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Some of our favorites things to do in SD were watching the sunset at sunset cliffs, biking along the boardwalk in Pacific beach/Mission beach, having lunch or drinks on a roof top bar. Eating a lot of fish tacos , enjoying the HOT sun, golfing & so much more . We had so many visitors, I loved showing them around! I always made sure to show them Coronado , LaJolla , Gaslamp District, Little Italy , Old town, Pacific Beach, Mission Bays.... I Always took my guest to Laguna Beach which is about 1h drive down the I5. Laguna is my fave California town EVER. Everything about it is magical. I would highly recommend anybody & everybody to check out SO CAL if you can . We LOVED our year in San Diego & it'll forever have a special place in my heart. xoxo Carine

On Thursday march 9th, matt and his team won their league, which meant they had 2 weeks until their next playoff series. The coach gave them 3 days off to rest & enjoy the weekend. We decided this was a perfect time to go to Lillehammer to visit our friends Steph & Brett who play hockey there in the Norwegian league. Brett Cameron ( from Edmonton) and matt played college hockey in Alaska together for 4 years and Steph Vigier a fellow Winnipegger played against matt since they were little kiddies. They also train together in the summer. So Friday afternoon we rented a car from a wonderful car dealership here in Mora , we got a KIA SUV and it was honestly such a good car. I would of bought it HA! The drive was about 4 hours and on the smallest country roads... kinda creepy at times. The snow wasn't even plowed off the streets. We finally made it around 6pm, just in time to have a quick dinner before watching one of their playoff games . We ate at an awesome Turkish restaurant called Café Opus. We had amazing tzatziki with pita bread. After the hockey game (which sadly ended in a loss) we waiting anxiously for steph and Brett. Finally they come out, yay hugs all around . Brett was kind enough to offer his pull couch for us to stay on, which was awesome because all the hotels were booked because of the XGAMES, which is my next subject I'm working towards here. The next day was the XGAMES , but it didn't start until 5pm. So during the day we explore the little downtown of Lillehammer and the famous Olympic ski jump called Lysgårdsbakken. It was used in the 1994 olympics. The views from up top were amazing.

After sightseeing we made our way towards Hafjell, which is where the XGAMES event was. We had lunch at the top of the ski hill at Gaiastova in the massive cozy cabin. Their was Après-Ski going on and it looked so fun ! Okay finally it's 5pm and XGAMES are starting . The Events we saw were Women's snowboard big final air , Women's Ski big final air , Men's snowboard big final air & men's ski big final air . It was soooooooo amazing to see ! Each event had 8 athletes from across the world . They had 30 minutes to go down as many times as they could. Average was about 3-5 runs per event, per athletes. They took their best two runs for best points possible . I was in awe of how amazing these YOUNG athletes were, so fearless. We froze our toes but it was an amazing experience, I want to go every year! The next morning to decided to head out kinda early, we stopped in Trysil for lunch ( which is another ski resort town ) for some yummy sushi . Best little weekend trip with my wonderful husband. We're so thankful to be living in Europe and able to take quick weekend trips to Norway . xoxo Carine

Best.City.EVER! When I moved to Sweden, I met a girl named Hannah. Hannah's Boyfriend plays on the same hockey team as matt ( Mora IK). She is a fellow North American, from New Hampshire. She wanted to take a weekend trip somewheres in Europe before she moves to Nashville next week. So obviously I'm always down for a trip!!! We decided on Amsterdam. 2 trains & 1 flight later we arrived in Nijmegen ( 1 hour outside of the city) we stayed in Nijmegen the first night with my friend Loulou & Mitch ( who are from from holland ) it was so nice to see them ! The next morning we trained into Amsterdam for the remainder of our trip (2 nights) we explored ALOT! The beauty is never ending in this city. The Canals are so wonderful, every street or block is picture perfect! The food was awesome , the drinks were great & the people were lovely ! I WILL be back ❣️

On February 13th, my husband matt & I moved to Sweden for his hockey career. He had been playing in the AHL for the last 3 season.. when he decided to take a leap of faith and terminate his contract to head over to sweden for the remainder of the hockey season ( 8 games & playoffs ). It has been an amazing experience. He is so happy he made the decision to play in a European league. The joy I see on his face after practice or a game is priceless ... he's playing the game he loves and enjoying every minute of it! We are happy we made the move ❤🇸🇪❣️
