Strangely enough, I am back writing here. I thought about writing for the past two nights, but either forgot a couple of seconds later or couldn't think of anything to write. But here we are! 8AM, still in my pajamas, but rearing to tell you all about myself and what I've been up to the past couple of days.
So I guess we'll start with me.
Hi there. My name is Crash, but you can callmecrashy. That's how I start every single one of my YouTube videos, and honestly not a bad way to introduce myself. I'm 23 years old. I live in Germany with my husband and our adorable cat (Taiga). We moved here almost 3 months ago and I have been loving the change of scenery. Every day, I am greeted with an amazing view of our town, cool fresh air, and my cat purring happily on the foot of my bed.
I graduated from University in June 2016, and so for the past year I've been trying to figure out what I really want to do with my life. It hasn't been easy, but it definitely hasn't been as difficult for me as it is for many recent college grads. I've mostly been working in Social Media Marketing and Data Entry for the past year, and that has really made me want to pursue a career in Social Media. I know it's a tough industry to get into - you have to stand out among millions of others, but I'm confident enough in myself and I love engaging with new and wonderful people... so why not give it a shot? (:
I label myself as an Alt-Goth Model. My favorite color to wear is black and I love the whole aesthetic of a victorian-style goth, but I also love everything kawaii and alternative and neon pink. I'm super happy with this label because it allows me to express myself however I want to while challenging others' notions of myself and my interests.
Now, to get into what I've been doing the past couple of days.
Believe it or not, I've actually been preparing for Vlogoween. I made a video every day in October last year, and I absolutely LOVED the experience so I'm going to be doing it again this year. The added challenge I've given myself, though, is to also post a picture on Instagram every day in October. I knew this would be a challenge for me if I tried to take a photo every single day, get it edited and uploaded, while still maintaining my normal work, so I've decided to start taking photos this month in preparation.
The two photos I've used in this blog post are special previews for just one of the photo sets that I'll be publishing in October. This also might be my favorite photo set to date - I loved my viking-inspired hairstyle and the markings I drew on my face. Hopefully these pictures receive a lot of love during October.
But anyway, that's it for me right now. I need to get to work and start getting ready for another beautiful (albeit a little chilly) day.
See you soon!
