Hey!

Today I went back to school..as dreadful as it was, it was kinda nice to get into a new schedule. Now that it is the new year, and I am back to normal, I have set up some goals for each day/week. Today I wanted to make a new workout program (maybe I will post my training program), find some nice healthy foods, get a little organized in school and life (want to make this year a little less stressful and a bit more fun), and then I looked up some ACT dates.

As for the rest of the week, I want to complete some things I have to turn in for school (besides homework), keep my room clean, drink more water, fill out some work papers, and just make it great and positive, a little less stressful.

Just a recap of my 2016:

-Stopped my figure skating training in February... What a shame but it was the best choice with my back :/ Miss it tons though

-Reenrolled in a real high school, which I really enjoy. Nice to be surrounded by some new friends and learn more

-Flew to Sweden for nearly a month to visit the best people on Earth!! Cannot explain how much I miss them and how great they are. It's just 1.5 years till the next time I see them (have to keep an open-mind on the length until next time)

-That's pretty much the big events, came home from Sweden and went on a family holiday, went to a crazy huge festival in the city. Started school and it's just been studying hahaha. Sure, enjoyed the weekends with some friends but my life is pretty much studying.

-The Chicago Cubs won the World Series and some friends and I went into the city and celebrated at the parade

But nah, I don't think you can really "change." You may try to change your ways of things but I think deep down there's still that urge or thought that isn't always the best...

So here are some of my goals this year:

-Get a new training schedule and stick with it

-Eat better foods

-Start college apps./get into college (abroad too:))

-Finish this school year strong (good grades and a good ACT score)

-Make some money with my new jobs (Oh yeah, I got some new jobs helping kids with sports at the PD and coaching skating. So I am really excited to start these and make some money haha!)

-Start a separate savings for my Europe trip

-Appreciate the things around me, mainly family and friends, be more social. Less on social media and just enjoy this wonderful life. Maybe read more? Who knows...

-Just be the best me and have a good year

hey guys!!

So today was my first high school skating competition and my team came 2nd :)) It was really fun, no stress, and felt good on my back. Maybe some know I have been injured for 1-2 years now because of a back injury and had to quit skating. So this is a great way to still skate a little and have fun!! Definitely a great day and great for the college apps ;p

After, we ended up going to a restaurant, don't actually know what the name was... mhmm but it was really cozy and I got a chipotle chicken pizza :))

And tomorrow I start school again... not so excited about it but just happy it was a relaxing Christmas break and I'm half way done with junior year!

hey!

So a couple days after Christmas, we went up North to visit my grandparents. It's a very small town but quite cozy and cold ;) My family and I just chilled and hung out. We normally go skating on their lake but this year it didn't work :(( We went on the lake for walks though.

For New Years, we went to a town and got a hotel. We ate New Years dinner and my family went to the casino and I went back to the hotel and watched Shameless. It was a lonely New Years but kinda cozy haha!

hope it was a good New Years for you guys!!

hey hey!

Christmas morning we woke up and ate some breakfast. Then, we gathered up and opened our santa gifts. Yesterday was our main day for gifts. So, today I just got a bunch of little cute gifts, like pj's, face masks, bath bombs, etc. Then, I got from santa, money and this really cool Chicago Cubs Championship bracelet. And then, we watched some Christmas movies, the best, Polar Express.

Around 16.00 we went to our family's house and had Christmas dinner there. After, my bestie and I watched Shameless for the rest of the night. (btw highly recommend this show. It's the best :))

Hey!!

The time has come and it's finally Christmas Eve. Today, for the most part, we just chilled. We watched some holiday movies, football, and baked some cookies. At 17.00 we went to church and came home and opened family gifts! I am not a person who likes to get too much, I didn't ask for much. The biggest thing was Uggs, so mom and dad got me that and Urbanear headphones. I also got a new phone case, lush bath bombs, and some little fun things/money. I am extremely grateful for all my presents and my family. Love them dearly <3

Around 19.30 we had our Christmas Eve dinner and chocolate pie, how cozy <33 Then we played some games and some movies;

It was a great n' cozy Christmas Eve.

hey!!

So finals are finally over and it's Christmas break!!! They weren't so bad, just anatomy!! I cannot explain how hard that test was. The teacher is not great and told us anything we don't cover in class (on the study guide) we must teach ourselves... So I wasn't expecting it to be easy but it was nearly impossible. I guessed on 98% of the questions...
So i'm a little upset with that but overall happy with the others. I'm just really happy we have a break and soon it's Christmas!!

Hey guys-

Wow, this week is finals and I'm stressing a lot hahaha. Monday is mainly just review in classes and Tuesday is religion and math finals, Wednesday is Spanish, religion #2, and history finals, and Thursday is English and anatomy finals. The only good thing about finals are that we get out of school around 10-11.But I can't believe that I am already half way through junior year. It will be really nice having Christmas break, a little stress free <3

Hey!

As I said earlier that I had some time off of school for Thanksgiving break but now we had two extra days off because of some water pipes broke. It was actually really nice:) I have had some extra time to study for anatomy and I went to go visit some friends down south a bit at their university. I have spent the day (Saturday) skyping with some Swedish friends. It makes me feel a bit more like I'm there when I talk with them:))

It's also only 2.5 weeks till Christmas break so it's feeling really really relieving.
