Holaaaa!!! I am off to London today! Finally! So excited to see all the christmas lights and of course my best friend Elizabeth. But before I share all the amazing London atmosphere with you guys I wanted to show you a bit of an update in the living room. I moved some of the furniture around and love how it looks now! I also got tablecloths from LinenMe and I really like how they cover the table- as I mentioned previously we don't really like the dining table anymore, but still haven't found a new one, so it is nice to have something to put over it haha. I put my new Kähler vases on the window- so I hope the cats don't destroy them while I am gone! And I finally put out some Christmas decorations, not the full blow yet! But a few things are out. Hope you guys like the way it looks now :)
Yesterday my friends Kat and Xander hosted Thanksgiving at their castle. They live in Charlottenlund, a bit outside of Copenhagen in a collegium, which is student housing. But it actually is a castle. Or more like a beautiful old villa. There were about 40 people in total and soo much food! I scored some pumpkin pie, which I took home. I actually ate so much for dinner, that I did not have space for pie :D! So I took some home to have today. It was really delicious! I love thanksgiving dinner, we had 3 turkeys, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes with marshmallows, like 3 different kinds of stuffing, cornbread, salad, beans. gravy... I don't even know all the names of the food! And as usual I had way too much to eat- but I think that for Thanksgiving it is acceptable!
Last week I got some new things from Kähler Design . It is from the Hammershøj collection. I went for a bit darker colours, because most of the things I have at home are white. I especially love the dark cups, I think they are perfect for winter! I styled the products with beautiful LinenMe table cloth and some leaves I picked up in Charlottenlund yesterday. I have lately been obsessed with dark photos- as you have probably noticed so I think the colours go together so well! Hope you guys like it as well:) Have a lovely and hopefully calm Friday evening. After yesterday I am most definitely staying inside haha.
I am soooo excited today! Zara Home has finally opened a store in Copenhagen. I mean, I can't even explain how great this is for me, I absolutely love their stores so I always had to shop online OR buy things when traveling, but it is kinda hard to buy cups and things like that if you need to pack it in a suitcase! So I am insanely happy about this. The store is right in the heart of Copenhagen opposite to Illum. It has 2 floors and so many beautiful things. I saw lovely Caroline from @copenhagenstories there and she showed me around and we had some coffee, cupcakes and croissants. Oh and juice! I stayed up really late yesterday- and I am not used to it, so I really needed a little pick-me-up in the morning haha. So yea, Zara Home is in Copenhagen Whop Whop! You can go visit it today! And get some interior accessories. There are these really beautiful cups with a checkered motive on them- very Nordic! Too bad for me though, because I got so many beautiful cups from Eva solo and Kahler Design, that I don't have space for anything else haha. Ok enjoy the pictures! I am off to work a bit before heading to London with @byrosemaria tomorrow!:)
Hey guys! I wanted to share some pictures from our apartment. I live with my boyfriend Tad and our roommate Djanour- he is a friend from school. We live in an apartment, that I got when I moved to Copenhagen, so it has been over 3 years. In those 3 years we have had 7 different people living with us! How crazy is that haha. There have also been a lot of different changes with furniture, painting, moving... But now finally I have started to work on making some changes, that will be permanent. We got some new chairs and we are planing on getting more new things haha. Some of the things we have- like the couch is more practical, than fashionable :D! Since my family and friends come to visit often we needed a couch that is big and folds into a bed, so the couch is really 70% of the living-room haha. I still love the space :). The apartment is very white, but we have a lot of blue, grey and green details and I really like that, because I am not really into bright colours like yellow! Hope you guys like it :)
Hey guys! Today I totally messed up- I went to school only to realise that I was at the wrong campus so I didn't have time to make class... I feel really bad about it! I am used to attending 95% of classes- so not going to class is weird! I mean no-one cares if we are not at class, but it feels like skipping class in high school or something! Feeling guilty about not being there haha. But thankfully Bee lives really close to the campus that I came to, so I called her up and we went t get lunch at school and then we went to Torvehallerne. I really wanted to get some nice Autumn/Christmas flowers and I found this bouquet, which was AMAZING- but it was tiny and cost 150DKK! So I decided to make my own one at home and got a bunch of different blue/grey/beige/purple flowers. I ended up spending 320DKK, which is probably the most I ever spend on flowers in my life, but I now have 3 bouquets, and two flowers hanging on the wall- this makes it worth every penny! Afterwards Bee and I went to my place and now she is on my sofa working, while I was making the flower arrangements and taking pictures. Hope you guys enjoy them as much as I do!:)
