New posts

These are some photographs I found after looking way back at some old memories. I remember taking these on an island in the pacific (can't remember what it was called) on a cruise we went on. I can still remember how beautiful the islands were and all the friendly people living there.

My family and I are soon to be going on another cruise around to similar islands again, and boy oh boy I can't wait!!

Ahh, there's nothing more I love than a relaxing day beside the pool with my best friend, chocolate. It's been so hot here in Australia lately and I'm so grateful and blessed to have a pool. Anyway back to reality tomorrow.

One thing that's always set me back from doing what my heart wants me to do rather than what my head is telling me whats right is doubt and fear. For the past couple of years I have been surfing as much as I am able to. One thing I realized that was setting me back from progress in it was fear. As individuals, we put up boundaries for our self's, whether that be to make us feel safe and secure or comfortable. During surfing I found I was putting up many of these boundaries. Not to go too far out or ill get taken out to sea, not even going in the water if the waves were to big because I might drown. I have realized putting up these boundaries has made me doubt myself and what I am capable of doing more and more each time. These scenarios I was making up in my head, were causing me to do what my head wanted rather then follow my heart.

I decided to put aside my fears and doubts one session and just forget about all the scenarios and just do it.

This goes for any day to day thing whatever it may be with every individual. We all have our own boundaries to over come and we all have to remember what our heart is saying rather than our head. If you want to be different to all your peers but scared you're going to be judged, who cares, do it anyway.

Forget about all the expectations from everyone and do whats right for yourself. After all, we're all human at the end of the day, and all the same on the inside.

This year my new years resolution was to step out of my boundaries and start something different for not only myself, but others. Welcome to my blog. Here i am going to be sharing with everyone what it means for me to be a human on this tiny planet. Updating this blog weekly will give me a place to store or my memories and things Ive learnt during my 16 years of livin on earth. Im hoping this blog will not only put a smile on my face, but other.

My first post is basically my second home. The beach is a place i go to escape from reality, making it feel like im in paradise for a little bit. Listening to the crashing waves and the sand beneath my feat, the hot sun kissing my skin. These are a few photographs I took last week at my local beach, in Australia.
