Good afternoon darlings, I get a lot of questions about what products I use for my skin and hair so I thought I would share it with you

To keep my hair long and healthy I drench my hair in coconut oil once a fortnight and I take B complex daily. The B complex contains Biotin, which has improved my hair health like no other and has helped my hair grow faster. When your hair grows faster you can then cut off your damaged hair to prevent your hair from splitting. I use Doctors Best B Complex which contains 600mcg of biotin. You can buy it HERE. For shampoo I use Ethique's multi purpose Tip to Toe shampoo and shaving bar (this bar is the equivalent to three shampoo bottles). You can buy it HERE. For conditioner I use Ethique's Wonderbar. You can buy it HERE .

Nowadays I've been going for a natural and delicate skin care routine. Most days I wash my face with water and a hand towel, every other day when I want a gentle and deep cleanse I use Linden Leaves clay masque to remove excess oils and impurities. You can buy it HERE. I then use Linden Leaves cleanser with organic white tea and jojoba to leave my skin feeling fresh and squeaky clean. You can buy it HERE. To help my eyes feel awake in the morning I use Linden Leaves eye cream with organic melon and white tea. You can buy it HERE. Afterwards I use Linden Leaves moisturiser with calendula and comfrey. This moisturiser smells incredible and hydrates my skin after cleansing away impurities. You can buy it HERE.

At nighttime I replace my moisturiser with Linden Leaves regenerating night cream with organic white tea and goji berry. This night cream reduces appearances of wrinkles and signs of ageing. You can buy it HERE.

I haven't worn foundation for the past few years, so I have added sunblock to my daily skin routine. I use Atzen's PROTECT™ Sun Shield SPF50+ on any part of my skin that the sun can kiss. You can buy it HERE.

To finish my skin care routine I use Hurraw! Balm's sun protection lip balm. You can buy it HERE.

I use Lush Cosmetics Dream Cream for all over body moisturiser, I've had the same tub for awhile so a little goes a long way. You can buy it HERE. I also use Lush's Snow Fairy shower gel, the smell is so divine that my boyfriend uses it too! You can buy it HERE but be quick!

In California's dry winter I use handmade coconut pressed soap and body oil. I use Linden Leaves memories body oil and it contains real roses and is blended with organic rosehip and avocado oils to keep skin hydrated. You can buy it HERE.

I use aluminum-free deodorants to reduce the risk of breast cancer and my holy grail is A Bit Hippy's natural cream deodorant. It smells amazing and lasts all day. You can buy it HERE .

For oral healthcare I use oil pulling and Weleda's Plant Gel Toothpaste. You can buy it HERE - be quick! It's currently on sale. I brush my teeth with my Oral B electric tooth brush I purchased from Countdown supermarket. You can buy it HERE.

Good afternoon honeys

I’m back home after being in Los Angeles for the past few months and I’ve came back to a few PR packages including Ethique’s 12 Days of Christmas Calender.

I was so excited to come home to this after seeing everyone open theirs on social media and it was well worth the wait!

Ethique selected hair, face and body care bar minis from their beauty bar range. All zero waste, cruelty free and sustainable sourced with compostable packaging! I wish I had these while I was traveling as they make the perfect travel companions.

Did you get one for Christmas? What’s your favorite bar?

Linden Leaves recently released their latest collection, Crystal Crush. Crystal Crush is their most elegant collection yet, inspired by natural crystals and gemstones, Amethyst and Rose Quartz. The collection comprises of bath bombs, soy candles, bon bons, nourishing hand creams, and fragrance diffusers

Linden Leaves was founded by Brigit Blair in 1995 in Christchurch, New Zealand to help care for two of her children who suffered severe eczema and allergies. From a humble family kitchen operation, Linden Leaves has expanded into an internationally recognised brand known for its natural everyday luxury handmade products

Linden Leaves does not test their products on animals and only uses natural ingredients. Most of their products are vegan friendly, with some products containing beeswax. Their Crystal Crush collection is entirely vegan friendly

Amethyst Bath Bombs

These amethyst bath bombs are perfect after a long day. I only needed to use one bath bomb per bath, however I was tempted to use more. Enriched with almond oil and lemon peel my skin was left feeling silky smooth. After putting one in the bath I could feel the oils nourish and soften my skin

Linden Leaves Amethyst Bath Bombs retail for $14.99

Amethyst Nourishing Hand Cream

From season changes my skin has been dryer than usual, and my hand creams haven't been cutting the mustard. I was surprised to find how long lasting this hand cream is. I found myself only applying in the morning and at night time. The Amethyst Nourishing Hand Cream's formula contains vitamin E and shea butter for soft, healthy skin, and Sesame oil for the nails

Linden Leaves Amethyst Nourishing Hand Cream retails for $24.99

Rose Quartz Soy Candle

I am incredibly impressed with the longevity of Linden Leaves Rose Quartz 100% Soy Candle. The fresh floral fragrance of Rose Quartz brings tranquility as well as fresh notes of mandarin, rose, carnation and jasmine, and soft base notes of amber and iris. Individually hand-poured in New Zealand, Linden Leaves Rose Quartz candle is easily one of my holy grail scented candles

Linden Leaves Rose Quartz Soy Candle retails for $39.99

Using safe, natural skincare and eating a balanced diet is my number #1 tip for flawless skin. I had painful breakouts from my early teens right through until I was twenty and after finding that natural skincare gave me the best results and eating the right food my skin has been so good to me!

For the past weeks I have been trying a new skincare range and after seeing flawless results I want to introduce to you By Nature's new activated Charcoal and Purifying Range. Packed with vitamin E, rice protein to smooth and calm your skin and essential oils including rosehip oil, I couldn't recommend By Nature's new Charcoal and Purifying skincare enough.

By Nature does not test on animals and their products are paraben free, non-comedogenic, fragrance free, and contain essential oils to benefit various skin issues.

*By Nature's Charcoal and Purifying Range is vegan friendly except for Charcoal Purifying Cleanser (contains manuka honey) and Purifying Day Creme (contains beeswax).*

THE RESULTS - Within two weeks I noticed my pores were almost non-existent, as were the dark circles around my eyes. My skin felt hydrated and there was a significant reduction in oiliness and redness. There was no irritation while using the products or afterwards, my skin was simply left feeling fresh, nourished and baby smooth.

At the end of the day face masks are always my go to to cleanse my impurities. The Charcoal Clarifying Face Mask only takes 10 minutes, with enough time to brush my teeth and draw a bath. While some face masks completing dry out my skin, By Nature's face mask removes impurities from the skin and unclog pores without stripping the skin’s protective layer.

DIRECTIONS: Clean your face thoroughly and pat dry.

  1. Apply about 1 tablespoon of the mask to the face and massage gently into the skin, ensuring an even thin coverage.

  2. Leave the mask on the skin for 10 minutes.

  3. Gently clean the skin with warm water and pat dry.

  4. Follow with your normal skincare routine.

When mum would always tell me I needed to get more sleep because I had "bags under my eyes" I would look at my face and 100% not understand what she was talking about. THEN (many many years later) I would look at a not sleep deprived photo, then look at myself and was like OHHHHHH I get it. Eye serums are now incorporated into my everyday beauty routine. Every morning after breakfast, I shower, then commence putting on By Nature's Purifying Eye Serum. The serum makes my eyes feel fresh and awake and ready to take on the day. Around exam time this product is legit my life saver. Usually I would have dark circles around my eyes but this product has really worked its magic.

DIRECTIONS: Apply daily in the morning and evening, lightly tapping a few drops of serum around the eye and up to the brow.

I use this serum under my everyday moisturiser to protect my skin from pollutants. A key ingredient, cranberry oil, protects the body from many environmental stressors. The main benefit of cranberry oil is that it has the perfect ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids, with the ability to absorb super well into the skin, keeping your skin hydrated. Even better, the key ingredients (rice protein, green tea extract, rosehip oil and cranberry oil) all work together to provide anti-aging effects, helping to protect the skin from environmental stressors, while moisturizing and strengthening, helping firm and tighten your skin.

DIRECTIONS: Gently massage into your skin in the morning and evening following cleansing. Ideal as a pre-makeup primer.

You can find the NEW By Nature Charcoal Purifying range at The Warehouse, selected Pak N Save & New World supermarkets and online at or

RRP: $14.99 each

Summer is my favorite part of the year! The nights get longer, drinks get colder, hair gets lighter, skin gets darker, water gets warmer, music gets louder, and most importantly, strawberries, nectarines and peaches come into season! fullsizerender-jpg.jpeg

What’s hot this kiwi summer?

Getting a tan the natural way is dangerous and sometimes painfully brutal. The only natural and safe way to tan with is with Ecotan’s Invisible Tan. Simply apply Ecotan’s Invisible Tan before bed and wake up with a with a glamorously bronzed body. The softly scented roseflower cream develops into a luscious, streak-free natural honey bronze colour in 6-8 hours with a single application. This product is perfect for medium to olive skin tones. Because the cream contains no toxic food colourings, no staining of the clothing, bedding or skin takes place meaning no nasty orange or green results just a beautiful natural tan perfect for your skin tone. Aluminum mingniunum. Natural deodorants are hotter than ever. Who likes to get cancerous cells next to your breasts anyway? Water is life. During the hot summer days, heat and sweat can leave your body dehydrated. It is incredibly important to keep yourself hydrated by drinking at least eight to nine glasses of water a day. Refreshing Perfume is . My incredibly wise nana gave me 4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser and told me to wear it on hot summer days to feel refreshed, she was right. Posse’s 70’s Roundie Bag is Hand woven from Tenganan Village in Bali. Each basket is hand woven and "smoked" over coconut husks, adding patina and strength. Another rainy day didn't stop me from exploring the streets of Manhattan. I caught a subway to Soho and did a lil shoppin. Next stop was Chinatown and aside from the smelly fish markets it was so cool. The Chinese New Year decorations were all through the streets and they looked so vibrant and beautiful. I continued walking to Little Italy and had lunch at Wild Ginger, I had the Sweet & Sour Sesame Soy Proteinand it was so yuumm! Afterwards I caught a subway up town and walked to the New York Public Library. Along the way I stopped off at the Winter Carnival at Bryant Park and flipped quarters into the water fountain after making some wishes. I was lucky to get the last vegan cinnamon pretzel from Sigmund Pretzel Shop, and boy was it delicious! After watching ice skaters while eating my incredibly tasting pretzel I continued on my way to the library. I’m was so gobsmacked when I seen how beautiful the New York Public Library was, if my university library looked like this I feel like I would go more often. The paintings were astonishing, as were the architecture, especially the candles and lighting. It was so breathtaking, I could have walked around all day and night staring at the beauty of it all. The library was one of the most memorable parts of NYC and never has a library been memorable to me. After sitting down and glazing at the paintings on the ceilings I headed back to the ROW NYC to get ready for my next broadway show. I saw Kinky Boots and it gave me this feeling of empowerment like I had never felt before. I fell so much in love with this play and I can't wait to see it again! Afterwards I checked out the Theater District Shopping Court and found these two harem pants to wear in New Orleans for only $25!! One of the pairs is pink with elephants all over, so so cute. For dinner I went across the road to Brooklyn Ball Factory Hell's Kitchen and had the MOST AMAZING ramen EVERRR #ramengoals topped off with Mast Brothers chocolate for dessert. I finished the night with more live music and fell asleep watching the city that never sleeps through my window.

I left Los Angeles @ 9am and arrived in New York City @ 5pm. After landing I took a train into Manhattan and headed to Times Square. I stayed at the ROW NYC Hotel located on 700 8th Ave, the hotel was right in the middle of everything so wherever I looked there were so many things to do. I explored around Times Square then headed back to get dinner at the hotel's City Kitchen, I had Azuki's sushi and it was a m a z i n g.  After listening to jazz @ District M I headed up stairs to get my much needed beauty sleep to prepare for the next days adventures!

The following day I took a subway to the National Museum of the American Indian and joined a walking tour waiting out front. The tour guide took us down to Battery Park, along Wall Street and up to the 9/11 Memorial grounds. The tour guide had an endless amount of charisma and knowledge. The tour was free but we all tipped afterwards. While walking along the wharf our tour guide had shared that the Statue of Liberty was a gift from the French commemorating the perseverance of freedom and democracy in the United States and to honor president Abraham Lincoln for emancipating over 3 million slaves in the South. It was also hoped that Lady Liberty would inspire democracy during the Age of Enlightenment in France. After the tour I caught a free ferry to Staten Island to get a closer look of Lady Liberty and all her glory. Before catching a play I explored Central Park, I sat and listened to a beautiful woman singing Nessun dorma beside the Bethesda Terrace and Fountain. Around 6:30pm I headed back to Times Square to catch a play at 7:30pm, I saw the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and it was so beautiful.
