Good Lord! I didn’t want to blog every day but life is truly so sweet! Last night I had an amazing date in Miami and I continue to learn so much daily. I’m already so grateful for 2018. I want to continue to focus this year on friendships and investing in myself and my education and career. Not only did I learn more of who I want to be and my interests in men but I learned so much about the forge! I picked to go to the forge because I love how old and glam it is but I never had any idea about all the amazing history. I haven’t been but I heard at the upstairs of the forge by the offices there is a room hidden by a secret trap door that can lead to secret passageways that we’re used to sneak people out during prohibition and for celebrities and crime figures to sneak out when needed. I Theres the largest wine cellar in Florida and in the chamber behind iron gates are rarest bottles, including a 1792 Madeira and an 1822 Chateau Lafitte Rothschild – the latter worth an estimated $150,000.00. Gotta love miami wealth! Lastly the champagne stage had performers like Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland and I got to sit there! What a fun night.

Wellll it would seem that my New Years resolutions always begin later than everyone else’s. With my birthday on January 7th it’s hard to start a year off without partying. I have always believed and always will, that too much of a good thing is wonderful.
Although too much celebration does distract me from my goals I’m back now and ready to hit it!
My New Years was beyond fabulous. Started the day with some football at the Miami dolphins game taking a party truck down from Fort Laud with my friends. Sunset is one of my favorite times to reflect, and the last sunset of 2017 was beautiful although I caught it from the window at Hardrock Stadium.

Later went back to Miami and as the clock struck midnight I felt within myself a strength of who I want to be. I decided right then that this year I will worry less about being perfect. I think social media has all of us create such a perfect image of ourselves and it’s sometimes difficult to maintain that facade 24/7. I let my worries go, decided to not stress, and had an amazing time at the W with Nervo in south beach before heading to Delano to see this guy Steve I liked. Steve invited me to Space but was a dick. Not only did he leave me outside waiting for 30 min, when I finally got in, he ignored me so he could talk to some other girl. I decided I literally don’t care and made the best of the situation. Impossible to not make the best of the situation when the music is so fire. What a great party it was! Jamie jones played followed by the Martinez brothers and I met a hot, nice guy who I ended up enjoying an Italian dinner with the next day. So overall my NYE resolution to not stress was happily enjoyed. I want to be kinder and be around kind people.

As I entered my 25th year, I was shown who my true friends are and I feel tremendously blessed. The first night of my birthday weekend, Friday I went to grille 401 on las Olas and saw some of my favorite Fort Lauderdale friends. Then I decided this was too much like season 2 of laguna beach. Same plots and scenery with different characters and I decided to pop down to Miami cause I was only a fan of season 1 Laguna beach. Bagatelle was a great party and also very pivotal for me. The first time I had gone there, I had been promoting for Grey goose in 2014 for the opening. I had just finished working at the Shelbourne for a winter music conference and that’s when I met Steve! He was so kind and helped carry my boxes from Shelbourne to Bagatelle and I fell for him too hard too fast and he ended up getting tired of me. It was refreshing to go to Bagatelle and decide that was in the past and no longer serves me. He was a liar the entire time but I was young and naive and delusional to honest. I am a strong powerful woman who doesn’t need to be chasing some idiot Steve around Miami.

Next stop of my bday weekend was a chill Fort Lauderdale S3 Saturday because who doesn’t love sushi on the beach?? Then I got to go down to TopGolf with one of my newest friends but also someone so close to me already! I’m so grateful for her because we both are there when the other needs, like knowing exactly what to say to guide each other it’s definitely a type of soul mate friendship! Komodo was next and I can honestly say it was great from what I remember but by that point I was getting pretty tired!

Sunday. Oh boy. You know how the human body is approximately 60% water? I think I became 60% champagne! Way too much champagne but a great time in south beach at the 1Hotel with my girlfriends and also met some great work contacts who guided me towards possible work. This year for me is all about working hard and spending time with friends. I decided to take a break from guys. Next, it was my first and last Liv on Sunday. Was a great party but on Monday I woke up at 1030 after getting home at 530am. And who the Fck wants to liv like that.
Monday I enjoyed Louie Bossi with one of my kindest friends and enjoyed so many laughs and pure happiness. I’m so grateful for that.  I’m mostly grateful too that my birthday is over! I will try to take more photos cause I have never been super into that but want them for my blog!

Tonight will be my last supper before heading to LA so I’m hitting the forge for some farm to fresh!!

Stupid question. You like both. That’s how I feel about deciding between south Florida and LA. Sometimes my outfit needs a chic thin Chanel belt and flats and sometimes my outfit needs Gucci sneakers. The mood is different and why pick one forever? As I’m struggling to pack and decide what to leave in Fort Lauderdale I’m debating how to make the right decision. My friend was kind enough to let me leave some things at her place in case I decide I don’t want to live in La again, and the biggest question now is whether to ship my car or leave it. I’m most torn because I feel like I need to commit to LA- if I’m going to do it I need to give 100% and totally be there. But I know I’ll always visit my friends in south florida, as well as Work the boat show in February and music week in March, so is it really that bad to not completely commit to La? I’m torn too, I want to spend the summer traveling Europe and my best friend is going to Italy in April. But do I want to stay in La so I can settle and secure a job? Is it time to finally grow up and stop doing whatever I want and blowing around with the wind? Or am I young enough to still have fun and not settle? When I’m in a relationship I’m totally a one guy girl, I have no eyes for any other men- but I can totally understand the concept in theory of why men want to have their cake and eat it too... how does one commit to just one thing, or place?!! But a person you love you should commit to, that’s a little different a human being isn’t an accessory or a destination. But in theory I get it.
I love the lifestyle of La, all the health and wellness but I love my support system of friends in Florida. Ultimately I need to go where I’ll make money. I want to continue to do the flying for now just because it is such good income. But the first time I was in LA that’s what made it hard to settle and find a support system. Constant traveling. So I’ll say a prayer I end up where I need to be and trust the universe and my higher power to help me make the right choice! I want to end up lucky in love and successful in a career so I really need to figure out what I am most passionate about. I love health and children so we shall see. Not sure if Florida is a better option for cheaper education, but I also feel school is a great place to make connections and I want to end up in California and always have so would be better to do school there even though it’s more expensive. Sooo torn!!! But going to enjoy miami while I’m here and head to nobu with some friends and see where the night takes me. Xx vikk

I love to eat healthy and especially vegan food! I typically do high intensity workouts but since my injury haven’t been able to. With that change in physical activity level I have to be especially careful with what I eat. Which of course over the holidays I haven’t at all! However today back on my own and making my choices I go for what I like! What makes me feel good, is vegetables and a fresh meal. No one can tell me they feel good after eating fried fast food-yuck! I was craving the salad BY Chloe makes because it’s just so delicious! One thing about vegan food, it’s very creative! I had a Caesar salad and instead of bacon topping it has shiitake mushrooms that have a bacon like flavor, along with “Parmesan cheese” made from almonds, I love that! Of course I had to get a matcha as well although in the future I’ll probably skip it. Other places in the city have better matcha in my opinion. I decided I like the By chloe in SoHo better since I was in Flatiron this visit. Also next time I will try a different vegan spot since I’ve tried almost everything on Chloe menu! The burger and fries are delicious and helllooo look at those desserts! If I hadn’t been eating and drinking in holiday excess all week I definitely would have treated myself. Heath Aide Kombucha is my favorite kombucha brand due to the low added sugar and I haven’t been able to find my favorite flavor power greens in Florida lately so I was very glad I spotted it in NYC so I know it’s not discontinued! Stay healthy readers, we all need to detox to retox- almost NYE and I’m heading back to Miami! Wish me luck.

While I’m very big on trying new things, sometimes you just have to visit your favorite spots! I always love to go to Catch for dinner and mostly for the Hit Me dessert. It’s just too good! Although the meatpacking district is a bit tourist-y, I like to go to the Biergarten at the Standard. They have an ice skating rink and ping pong tables and who doesn’t love some drunk activities? Last night was great getting to catch up with my best friend from Florida who was also up north for the holidays. I love winter fashion so some tights and a see thru top with a beanie and jacket was my outfit of choice even though I was freezing I got my alcohol sweater on. Since I didn’t try a new dinner spot last night, this morning I decided to try a new workout! My grandmother lives in the best part of Chelsea with everything within walking distance! I got ACL /meniscus surgery the day before thanksgiving so I’m still recovering and healing and have to take it easy. So it’s perfect where she lives because nothing is far at all. I got to pass FIT on the way to Finish Line and the art in the windows was something that made my walk even more enjoyable. One was decorated with London, NYC, Milan, so below are a few photos. I just appreciate NYC so much with all the liveliness of the city and creativity everywhere you look. Finish line is a physical therapy place and today I’m trying the Norma Tech Compression socks. They speed up recovery by increasing blood flow by massaging your legs. Hopefully this will help speed up my knee recovery. I’m very active and love to do spin and pilates and have had to for-go that! Right across the street is a peleton studio and rumble boxing- I wish I could go in for a class! Will be at least a year before I can pivot and do boxing but spin class hopefully a few more months. I believe so much in the power of movement to restore positive thinking. It’s so important for me, to be physically healthy as it really affects my mental health and mood. Pilates is still good for me with the low impact movements but I miss my cardio! I’m staying positive though and am grateful for my health allowing me to recovery quickly and for surgeons to fix things when they are damaged! Finish Line is super amazing with all my favorite machines and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back when I’m no longer injured! Kat was super helpful setting me up and friendly greeting me when I came in so I’m sure the trainers there are knowledgeable as well. I stayed at a level 5 because of my injury and only did 30 minutes. I do think it helped but my leg is always in discomfort so I’m not sure just yet. Tomorrow when I see my doctor back in Florida I can find out. I was so inspired by my night and day in NYC and I hope my pictures inspire you to look outside at our wonderful world! the last photo is one of me leaving physical therapy freezing and going to grab my gloves but remembering Paris Hilton’s rule to never pass a mirror without looking in it!! xx, Vikki

Sorry for the gossip girl reference in the title, but anytime someone compliments me and tells me I look like Serena or Blake lively I ride that shit out for days. Cause I mean hello, goals. Anyway, I love Christmas because we go to my favorite aunts house and have to leave the city so we go through Grand Central. Everything about Grand Central is so romantic to me especially during the winter. The Christmas decorations add extra excitement but the over all architecture of the building along with the constellation on the ceiling has it remain as one of my favorite places year round. I think too, the energy of travel and meeting loved ones makes Grand Central such a special spot. The clock in the center is a central meeting point, and I love to get into the city and meet me friends there and then we're off to cause trouble in Manhattan. A friend recommended to get there early and grab a coffee made with Oatly oatmeal milk since I’m plant based and don’t drink regular milk, but most of the restaurants were closed for the holiday. Which is good! Everyone should enjoy time with family, and I’ve worked many holidays so I understand the feeling of missing out for work. Yesterday, the train ride was surprisingly not crowded, and I was inspired by the ticket guys hat. It looked just like the fishermans caps that are making a popular comeback but obviously geared towards the train, so when I find mine I want to make mine unique in some way. Once we got to my fabulous Godmother's home, she had prepared a Christmas champagne cocktail with pomegranate. It was delicious! I always leave her house feeling so taken care of, relaxed, and of course well fed. I hope you all had an amazing holiday and spent time with loved ones! The real reason for the season.
You know you love me....

Indecisive as to whether I want to live in LA or South Florida and therefore self proclaimed myself as Bicoastal although the guy I like refers to me as bipolar. Same, same but different. I like to wine and dine at the best restaurants, and to be a constant tourist in every city that I know well enough to call home. A typical weekend can be spent on a boat with my friends in Fort Lauderdale, attending a party in Miami Beach or jetting to LA for some of the best Pilates classes and hikes and of course some going out, so I want to share my adventures and hope to share to inspire others to live their best life while trying to figure mine out. I love to write and always have a billion things going on. Or none at all. Peaks and valleys as life tends to go. Hope you enjoy my journey. XX Vikki Larson

The city!!! New York City!! The best place to spend Christmas in my humble opinion but I’m sure many would agree. There is just such a great Christmas spirit. Although I do believe tradition is what makes the holiday special so I did feel Christmas spirit in LA and Florida as well with the annual decorations being put up and plans being made to spend time with friends and family alike. Today I went to a lovely brunch at Bryant Park and then got to walk around 5th ave a bit to see some of the spectacular shop windows! My favorite tree is Rockefeller center but Bryant Park has a lovely tree as well with an ice skating rink and the restaurant was great as the decor inside matched the outside. Bryant Park has many tents set up with different food options such as waffles and crepes, as well as some vegan options I spotted but I’m happy I held out for a delicious avocado toast topped with artichoke Parmesan! And of course some LaMarca! A great Christmas Eve brunch! It wasn’t overly crowded either which was great. We went into H&M to try and find a fisherman cap but couldn’t find one so my hunt for that will continue! Maybe santa will bring it, I’ll keep my hopes up!
