That’t right, why would I change? A perfect person does not need improvement, especially since there is no improvement available. That’s the best thing with being Birk. You’re always perfect, it really makes your everyday life less difficult.

My New Years Resolution is to drink one more beer on average every day, get like 0.2 seconds more of airtime during my average ski-jump and to get a sponsorship from either Rossignol, Salomon, Extrem or Black Crows, shouldn’t be to hard, right? So if you reading this happen to work at either of those companies just hit me up and we can work something out! I’m also thinking about starting a podcast, what are your guys and girls opinions on that? Just me sitting in a corner with my iPhone mic thinking out loud. “The BirkCast, a podcast with Birk”, sounds pretty god damn promising, right? New year, new possibilities, am I right? I could have some guest features. I won’t lie, there has been a lot of celebrities reaching out to me since the start of this blog. Probably shouldn’t name them but people like Akon, Leonardo DeKapris (is that his name? Idk lol) and Dolph Lundgren have all asked for some sort of collaboration, but we’ll see about that, pretty sure they only want some quick publicity, especially Akon.

I will definitely try to stay more active in the future, ‘cause you all deserve some more Birk in your life. Stay gnarly! Birk’s out.

In regards of the competition I had during Christmas there is now a winner. Yeah, I know it’s a bit delayed but when you have to pick one winner out of like billions of people it does take a bit of time. Whatever, the winner is… (drumroll) Robin Cronheden! Congratulations! I can’t really say that I know the guy personally but he seems to be pretty chill I guess. Here’s some pictures of him that he wanted us to post on the blog, the first picture is me however. Anyway, congratulations Robin, we’ll send you your price sometime this decade!

Hi guys and welcome to a new update. Sorry that I've been inactive these last few days, but I'm pretty sure the picture explains why. It's only December but this place is already a skiing paradise. It's like the spirit of Chamonix was expecting me and thought "oh shit, Birk is coming here this winter, I better not disappoint him" and sent his snow making slaves to produce like 2 meters depth of snow. So far I'm far from disappointed.

Now you all know that I'm one of the best skiers in the world, and you are all probably really envious of that. But don't think it's all fun and games, it actually has it's downsides too. Because all the time when I head out to ski with a couple of friends I end up alone. One second they're there and the next second they're gone, I ALWAYS manage to outski them, I'm just too good, they can't keep up with me. So that's one of my main goals this winter, to find people that are actually good enough to ski with me. That could go on my Wishlist, along with the GoPro I mentioned a few posts earlier. And if you're at home thinking "but Birk, couldn't you just stop being super amazing for a while and adapt to the pace your friends have?" all I can tell you is: no, I cannot do that, life is a competition and I'm intending to win, every time. That brings me to this update's last segment: 'competition'. Today is your lucky day! Because now you will have the chance to win a fine, fine prize! All you have to do in order to participate is share my blog on facebook and write down what colour you would like your prize to have! Make sure to hashtag BenzoBirk ( #benzobirk ) as well! The winner will be revealed on the 25th of December!

Stay gnarly! Birk’s out.

The prize of the competition is one sock (NOT A PAIR) signed by BenzoBirk himself and a swish containing like 50kr or something, if you do not have swish we will improvise.

What’s up Birksters and welcome back to a brand new update! Today’s topic is an important one, I will be writing about one of the most vital ingredients when it comes to being a pro skier. That is, my dear friends, having freshly pumped, juiced up muscles. Because when you’re hitting the mountains with snow up to your chin and cold winds blowing you back to 1976 there is only one thing that keeps you going. Well no, there’s actually about 600 things that keeps you going, your muscles. (If you think that I had to google how many muscles there are in a human body, then fuck you)

So to keep my muscles nice and juiced I tend to hit the muscle palace (yeah that’s what I call the gym) about 1 to 10 times a week, whatever makes my biceps smile you know. I heard a rumour yesterday that people here in Chamonix are starting to call me “Big'Guy McSquatCurl”, it wouldn’t surprise me at all since all I’ve been doing this past week is killing it in the gym, oops I mean the muscle palace. If you wonder how much I can benchpress I’m sorry to inform you that I do not have the exact number, but it’s about 35 kilos more than what you could do.

I will probably try to make some sick turns in the ski slope the next couple of days, so stay tuned for an update on that.

So a lot of my readers have frequently been asking me what I do to financially support my skiing and beer drinking. The answer is (not very impressive one might say) dealing with the dish at a hotel. But before I went up to the mountains, when I planned this whole adventure, I thought to myself "hmm, should I work with something that has a lot of status like being a rapper, a lawyer or a drugdealer? Or should I do something that I am pretty god damn good at doing?" I think you guys already know the answer to this question by now. Because here I am, causing terror to all food remains, stains and bacteria that infests the plates and silverware I so preciously care about. I'm pretty sure I would fit in the list of 500 best dishboys living in France at the age of 8 to 20, if there were such a list.

The moral of the story: if you are a bacterium you should stay away from BenzoBirk because he will fuck you up in no time.
Stay gnarly! Birk's out.

PS: If you think that I hired a professional photographer to take this picture, you are wrong. It was me, using the self timer function on my iPhone camera, the result as you can see, is astonishing.

Yeah, that's right, today I finally made my seasonal debut of skiing. It felt incredibly good, I was all like: "yeah, right turn!", "woah, left turn!" and "fuck yes I'm going to do a 360 in that jump!". Wish you could see me killing it in those slopes, hopefully santa will give me that GoPro camera I've wanted for 5 years this Christmas. I can't really say that I've been a good boy this year but ya'll better know that I can be a lot more naughty if I happen to be disappointed this Christmas. Yes, that is an ultimatum, Santa.

Due to bad weather I chose to not publish any photos of today's skiing but here's one from Åre about a month ago.

Stay gnarly! Birk's out.

So this is a picture of my lad posing in a beautiful fucking view, I mean come on is that not gorgeous? I get rock hard just by looking at that shit.

It was a fun climb of 1000m steep rock, took like 4 hours but sure as hell it was worth it, we even had to eat raw snow in order to not die from fucking dehydration, some Bear Grylls shit right there I'm telling you.
