Good evening ✷

Just got back home after my five day trip to Milan-New York-Milan, or actually it was yesterday that I got back but I was so tired and jet lagged that I've just spent the day hibernating at home.

Anyways, it's such a nice trip, possibly one of the best in our network, starting with 24 hours in Milan - flight to New York and 24 hours there - and then back to Milan for another 24 hours before going back to Dubai. And this time was extra nice because of my lovely colleagues, we were all girls in business class this time and a total of eight of us from seven different countries. And no drama on board, haha.

When we got there me and one of the girls just went for a quick dinner and then off to bed. The next stay I started by getting on the subway and went to lower manhattan and The Butcher's Daughter which is a super nice vegetarian restaurant for some brekkie.

I then took a walk over Manhattan bridge (much less crowded than Brooklyn bridge) over to DUMBO to get some nice views over the bridges. And then the subway back to lower Manhattan for some ice cream at an ice cream shop I've been stalking on insta and really wanted to try. Super cute pastel ice cream!

The cutest ice cream on manhattan comes from Soft Swerve!

After finishing my ice cream I headed back towards the area close to the hotel (we stay next to Times Square) to look in some shops and pick up some sushi to eat before going back and napping in the hotel. And that was New York this time.

Hello dolls,

I'm in New York now on a super crowded morning train to go grab some breakfast but since I still haven't updated you on Milan yet we'll start there 🖤

As we arrived in the afternoon and due to the fact that Milan fashion week was still on going me and one of the girls deemed it very appropriate to go in to town for some aperitivo and dinner.

We strolled around the area around the duomo for a bit and settled for some spritzers at Terazza Aperol just next to the duomo. Later, when the sun set we headed up to Brera to have the most amazing pizza and some really yummy drinks at a place called Dry that I've had pinned on google maps for ages but never tried, can definitely recommend it now though!

All in all a super nice layover!

Good morning dolls ☀️

I've been pretty busy the last few days so I am kind of behind on the posts here, I'm in Milan now (more on that later) but I just wanted to tell you about my little adventure the day before yesterday. A very typical example of a typical me thing to do (do first, think later -or not at all #justariesthings).

As you know one of my favorite pastime activities is paddleboarding, and this day I went to sunset beach to paddle to kite beach and back (about 15-20 minutes each way do you non-Dubai people).

As it was quite windy I got some pretty good speed on the way there. And I stopped at the beach went up, parked the board on the beach, got my coffee, sat down and drank it and then it was time to make my way back to where I started (and parked the car). What I didn't think about was that the wind was a lot stronger now, and that I would have to paddle a lot more to get back. All in all it took me at least an hour to go back and when I finally arrived I was completely exhausted and sunburned so even now two days later my back is bright red and I'm taking a daily bath in aloe vera.

That's all for now, more coming later!

Sincerely your 🦀

Good evening (and happy new moon☽)!

For the past three years I've been keeping a flight diary and I just want to show you how it looks like when you been working as a flight attendant for a while :)

So far I've gone 60 times around earth, flown to 57 countries and spent over 3000 hours on planes.

Hi everyone! How's life?

Today whilst I'm stuck at training college doing my yearly recurrent it's also exactly three years since I first came to Dubai to start my training for Emirates. Can't believe where the time has gone to and that I'm also three years older 😱

I just finished my exams a few minutes ago so now I'm chilling with a coffee and enjoying the pretty view from our training college. Next up is two days full of practical assessments that we also do every year (emergency training in simulator, medical training and security training etc).

Time for me to get back to class now so talk to you later 💋

Hey babes, how's life?

I wanted to tell you about my favorite place in Dubai when I want yummy food, cute shops and some genuine culture in general - of course I'm talking about Al Bastakiya, old Dubai.

The area is super cute with traditional Arabic windtower buildings and contains culture centers, cafés, galleries, some small crafts shops and a coffee museum. And what is probably the nicest restaurant in town - Arabian tea house (if you get the chance to visit you must try the shish taook).

Good evening babes, hope you're all well❣️

Just wanted to show you what me and L was up to a couple of days ago. We've both been longing for a road trip for some time now but the Dubai weather has just been too hot, but luckily with September there was some decent temperatures arriving as well, so we went to Hatta dam which is a 1,5 hour drive from Dubai for some kayaking and barbecue.

As sunset came we found a little spot next to the road and set up our little camp for the evening and made some burgers on the barbecue.

All in all just the perfect day out 🖤

...when you're a flight attendant and you start a blog about traveling and then you end up grounded for like three weeks.

Instead let's get you some pics form my recent trip to Tokyo Narita ☟

Our crew hotel is pretty close to the lovely Narita village (out by the airport so unfortunately a bit too far for a trip to central Tokyo) where you can find the Narita-san temple. The night before me and the crew went for sushi (fatty tuna 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻) and karaoke (will spare you pics and videos from that).

Lite opraktiskt att vara tvungen att stanna på marken i tre veckor när man jobbar som flygvärdinna och precis startat en blogg om det, men men what to do. Ni får lite bilder från min senaste resa till Japan istället
