It's been a while. I've been busy with work and personal things. I've also changed my work out routine and some of my food habits. But more on that later! Since I've been gone a while I decided to present a new recipe for all off you!
The rose latte!
Rose water is super good for your skin. It hydrates and balances the pH on your skin, which makes for a great natural toner. It's an antioxidant and has anti bacterial properties. I use it on my skin and on my hair. Not only does it leave you feeling fresh but it also smells amazing!
I really loved this recipe! It tastes great and I love the color! It's perfect for valentines day but the raspberries and roses also makes it a perfect drink for the summer! You can also just drink it as a regular beverage of course!
1 cup of any kind of milk*2 teaspoons rose water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup frozen raspberries**
Pinch sea salt
1 heaping teaspoon coconut oil
2 teaspoons honey***
Combine all of the ingredients in a sauce pan except for the coconut oil and the honey. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it cool. Then use a blender to mix all off the ingredients so it becomes smooth. Strain the mixture using a fine-mesh strainer to get rid of all off the seeds from the raspberries. Then add the coconut oil and honey. Blend again to make it frothy (optional).
