This is my last hours in New Zealand. My flight will take of two hours. I have said goodbye to Mr and Mrs Head. In about thirty hours I will be home again. That will be very nice. I have missed Sweden and my family. This is my last message from New Zealand.

In the winter we went skiing in the mountains. It was great, the sun was shining although it was very cold. We where up in the mountains for about one week before we got back home again. When we where home we went ice-skated on a small lake it was a very cold winter it was even cold when you got into the house. New Zealander’s are not good at insulation so it was freezing inside to.
When you reading this blog you have probably seen that I am not telling you so much about what is happening at school. Why I do not tell you about school is very easy to explain. Nothing worth mentioning happens at school. It would just be boring to read. That is why I just tell you about the holidays when I maybe do something fun and you may enjoy reading it. But nothing happened in the autumn break so I am not going to talk about that either. Se you at winter break.
it is really weird. In Sweden it is snowy on Christmas and Christmas celebrates on the 24th but in New Zealand the sun is shining and like everywhere else in the world, they celebrate it on the 25th. I woke up in the morning of Mr and Mrs Head calling me down for breakfast. They where so very nice, always making breakfast, lunch and dinner for me. I got down to the kitchen as fast as I could. It was a splendid breakfast with many yummy things to eat. 3 o’clock I was ready to see Donald duck’s Christmas, but then I remembered that I was not in Sweden. In Sweden they show it on TV every Christmas, but not in New Zealand or anywhere else in the world. Just in Sweden. I do not really know why but that is how it is. After dinner we opened our presents. I got some pretty cool stuff. I had also bought Mr and Mrs Head some pretty cool stuff to. Everyone was happy.
On the summer break Mr, Mrs Head, Gabriel’s family and I went snorkling. That was very cool. I saw some awesome fishes and underwater plants. We also went to see the amazing nature and animals that lives on this amazing island. It was pretty cool if I can say so myself. We went to the zoo and saw even more kinds of animals then we went to the aquarium and saw a large variety of fishes. We did all that in one single week. New Zealand has Christmas in the summer because December is in the summer, and that is because New Zealand is on the other end of the planet.
It is the last day in school before spring break. I am so exited. In the spring break I am going to a sheep farm. You probably know that New Zealand is famous for having more sheep then people. So I would probably see some sheep on the way to. When we got to the farm I where astonished by all the sheep. Everywhere you looked you saw a sheep. It was almost impossible to not see a sheep. We had a guide named Charles who showed us around on the farm. He gave us some facts about sheep and let us pet one. Did you know that sheep’s actually have best friends, amazing right? When we got back from the guided tour night had fallen and it was time to go home. I did not do much more then that on the spring break. When I got back to school after the spring break I told Gabriel about the sheep, but he had already been there. Although he thought it was amazing too.
I woke up at 6am on a Monday. I needed to get ready for my first day in school. The school uniform was green with a good locking green tie. Black long or short trousers with long socks. The school in New Zealand is free and you start first class on the day of your fifth birthday. There are single sex and co-educational schools in New Zealand. But they are both boys and girls in this school. I am not going to talk too much about my day in school, I do not want to be to boring. The only thing of importance was that I found a new friend named Gabriel. Gabriel was very short with ginger hair and big brown eyes. He was also very smart, kind and funny. After a week or so we where best friends.
Did you know that New Zealand is almost half the size of Sweden? With a population of 4 587 241 New Zealand got more sheep then people. They say that for every human in New Zealand there is seven sheep’s. On the island lives about thirty million sheep that is a lot of sheep. You probably figured out by now that this text is about New Zealand. More precisely this text is about me going to New Zealand. The flight to New Zealand will take 32 hours with all the stopovers. First I will land in London then after twenty hours flying in the air I will stop in Hong Kong for about two hours before I will take of again to New Zealand. I landed in the capital Wellington. I went to pick up my bags. When I got my bags I got in a taxi and told him my address and ten minutes later I finally reached the place where I would stay. I would stay with Mr and Mrs Head for the year. They where very kind and welcomed me to the house.
