This year I once again had the chance to work as a photographer at Lapplandsveckan. Of course, as usual for me, I took too many photos (if that's possible) In only 6 days I had 728 pictures (!!?) to edit and do my selection from. I now have about 350 pictures I'd love to share with you, but of course, that would make this post way too long. So here's a selection of the selection from my favorite pictures from Lappis. Let me know what you think of the pictures in the comments and please contact me if there are any pictures you would like to use

Pie throwing was the reward for a competition held the day before

Baptism and volleyball is a good summary of Lappis in general, Jesus and friends.

Various shots from different days and events

That's all I have (jokes I have 5 times more than this, at least!) for you right now and all I dared to put in one post without getting people angry over how long the post became. So this was my Lappis 2017 and if there are any questions about a picture or if there's a certain event from the week that you would like to see more pictures from just message me on any social media and I'll be happy to help you!

Dreams, some are big and some are small but you have to choose because you cannot have them all

Lay down in the grass and watch the clouds while time passes by

Close your eyes and you will see

Like dandelion seeds, we can float away to the land of dreams

the land where nothing is impossible and children play in the streams

where you get wings and you can fly

- fly high above the sky.

Dreams, some come true others sadly cannot, some you will remember but most you forgot

As you lay in the grass and feel the straws, will you think of me a lot?

Slower your breath and you will see,

Around your head, love will form a halo, like the spewing embers from the active volcano

So lay low and close your eyes and pace your breath and dream away

Will you dream of a beautiful flower bouquet?

- a bouquet picked where the children play

Dreams, some are possible others are not but keep on dreaming, sometimes it’s all you got.

As you stand up a shape will have molded to your body in the grass

Watch as the straws slowly recover and rise again to what is their reality

Now learn from them and be just as carefree

For whatever weight the might face they will always stand again, they will always grow back and they will always recover

- this is what I hope you will discover

Dreams, some last a day others a life don’t just dream at night but also daylight

For what is important is to know what is real and what is not, when to sleep more and when to wake up.

My favorite cake is what we in Swedish call "isflak" which is roughly translated to "ice floes". Next week I will be working at a café in Vännäsby and we will be selling these there! So come and buy them from us and have a little chat

What you'll need:

250-gram room temperature butter

1,5 dl sugar

4 pcs egg yolks (save the whites for later)

1,5 dl brown sugar

1,5 Tbsp water

1,5 tsp vanilla sugar

1,5 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

⅓ tsp bicarbonate

6 dl wheat flour

Put the oven on 175° C before you start so it's warm

  1. - First, blend the sugar and the butter so that it's puffy and has a lot of air in it
  2. - Next blend the rest of the ingredients together and then into the previous mix
  3. - Press the batter into a ungreased baking dish
  4. - Chop a bar of chocolate to pieces, (light or dark) or whatever kind of chocolate you like (sometimes I use chocolate with Daim in it), and push the pieces into the batter.
Now onto the meringue
  1. Beat the 4 egg whites until it resembles a fluffy cloud that stands up in stiff peaks
  2. Blend 2,5 dl sugar into the egg whites, a little at a time, when you're finished the mixture should be thick and glossy
  3. Spread the meringue batter over the cookie batter in the baking dish

Bake in the middle of the oven for about 14 minutes

Cut the cake before you let it cool off as it is easier to cut in the meringue if it's not hard, serve with whipped cream or ice cream! Enjoy!

This title I interpret as what is my favorite food, and what I would choose if I would have to choose to eat one thing for the rest of my life. It's hard, it really is. Choosing between so many things... My favorite dish over all else is my dads salmon. Delicious! But I guess if I had to eat that for the rest of my life I would probably get tired quite fast. So I need something that you can vary a lot... Tacos? Hamburger? No, I would get so out of shape for ballet and I would grow tired of that as well. Pancakes maybe? Yes! Pancakes, you can vary it to infinity and almost never eat the same twice! Below is just super fancy pictures of pancakes, and yeah. I think you can see what I mean with different pancakes for every day. There's spinach, banana, blueberry, strawberry, red velvet, bacon, fruit salad, chocolate chip, and so on. And since October is LGBT history month, why not celebrate everybody's equal rights with a rainbow pile of pancakes? Enjoy the following pictures!

I seriously like so many movies but these three are my top options for a movie night or when I'm sick (or actually just whenever...) Some of these I've watched so many times and one special one I've now watched 13 times😂

First movie up is, "The day after tomorrow" this movie I've seen maybe 6 times. I really love the movie, and although it's kind of not very likely that what happens in the movie would ever happen it do has some kind of important meaning and message to it. Starring in the movie is, Jake Gyllenhaal, Emmy Rossum and Dennis Quaid with others. The movie is from 2004 and it has a 6.4 on IMDB

The next movie up is, "The adjustment bureau", I've seen it maybe around 4 times. I remember seeing it the first time and being like, wow! I really hope this is the way it is in real life, I really want one of those hats! Except for the movie having a cool plot the dancing is so beautiful! Starring in the movie is, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Anthony Mackie with others. The Movie is from 2011 and it has a 7.1 on IMDB

Last but definitely not least since this is the movie I've watched 13 times. "The Next Three Days". It's by far the best movie I've ever seen and I wouldn't ever hesitate to rewatch it. You have to give the movie about 40-50 minutes though for you to really start to get into the plot of the movie. Starring in the movie is, Russel Crowe, Elizabeth Banks and Liam Neeson with others. The movie is from 2010 and it has a 7.4 on IMDB

So yeah, this is my favorite movies. I'd love to hear what yours is! Comment below with your best movie tips!!

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder characterized by uncontrollable, unwanted thoughts and repetitive, ritualized behaviors you feel compelled to perform. If you have OCD, you probably recognize that your obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors are irrational—but even so, you feel unable to resist them and break free.

Like a needle getting stuck on an old record, OCD causes the brain to get stuck on a particular thought or urge. For example, you may check the stove 20 times to make sure it’s really turned off, or wash your hands until they’re scrubbed raw. This is a kind of an illness, and if you have OCD it can actually make your life very hard. I don't have the illness but a lot of people have some kind of habits they frequently do or thoughts they have frequently or every time they do it, mine are.

  • Whenever I eat food or use a bodycream wich is stored in a round container, I always use the edges first. This results in it being the middle parts left always. Like a reversed doughnut hahahah
  • I always tap my nails against tables, computer, phone, my leg and so on... It kinda looks like I'm playing the piano with one hand frpm pinkie to thumb and back.
  • I have a fear of not having the stuff I might need with me, this results in me dragging unnecessary things around all the time. Scissors, tape, candy, an extra pair of tights to dance and two pair of pointes or maybe I bring pencils for going grocery shopping, it's really weird. But who knows when to sign an autograph?😉

Since I'm a master of repressing things like this I don't really have a huge cringeworthy embarrassing story to tell

But I have done some things... here's two stories in which I know I thought it was really embarrassing then, not as much now.

We start with a less embarrassing story. This includes me, some friends, 9 teacups, 18 tutus and a stage. This was so embarrassing as it happened but right now I don't really care about it all, it happens to the best. Anyways, what I did is 4:36 into this clip➡ I'm in the very front to the right and I go the wrong direction... I'm still on beat and I try to continue as if nothing happened but trust me as I say this, I were dying inside of embarrassment.

To this I can still cringe to be honest, you might not find it that embarrassing but I can still do.

I were 9 years old and the year was 2008, It must've been during spring semester. This I can tell based on the central object in this story, a enormous colorful paper lotus flower. In 2008 there were the olympic games in Beijing and my school had a Chinese inspired week. We got Chinese food, we learnt a lot about Chinas history, every class made they own carnival dragon and we had a big competition of which class had the most beautiful dragon. We all also learnt to make these kind of paper lotus flowers. This is were the embarrassing begins..

As we finished up at the last lesson the Friday that week I vaguely remember suddenly walking out in the corridor to get something by my locker. There I see that the "cool kids" are putting together a gigant flower. As I ask them why they are doing this so last minute out in the corridor whispering to each other I get the answer "I'ts for Mrs. Larsson". I'm a little down by that answer because she were truly an amazing teacher and we all loved her so I also wanted to give her a weekend present. Since all I have is 10 minutes and no ideas, I think "I have to somehow sneak onto this very present". I see one of the girls writing a greeting and all of their names on a small note that they'll place in the middle of the flower. The flower is still in the making and so is my plan...

In my thoughts I realize that it's to late to get my name on that note by helping them, so I go back to my desk. Clean my things up and pack my bag slowly. When I'm done I open the lid of my desk and pretend to be very busy with something, just a minute later they're done with the flower and the note is in the middle. They place it on the lectern and giggle as they run away to leave it as a surprise for our lovely teacher. I see my shot so I grab the same kind of pen that I saw the other girl use earlier and I walk to the front, grab the note, unfold it, write my name in the end, fold it back, place it in the flower center, put it down on the lecture again. As I place it down the queen B of the cool gang enters the classroom.

"What are you doing Anna", she says. "Uh.. nothing, I were just admiring your flower it's so pretty", I answer

"Okay, I thought I saw you doing something to it? Am I wrong?", she says "No I just picked it up to look at it."

Long story shortened: they had forgotten to write a thing in the end on the note so she had went back to fix it. She opens the note up sees that it says "Anna" in the end, looks at me real mad. Takes an eraser, erases it, fix what she came for, says "you shouldn't lie you know", walks away. The next day they all knew how pathetically I had tried to get cred for something I didn't even help to create. That was rather embarrassing...
