Well hello there!
Very spontaneous post. I just remembered that I went to Rome in early june of this year. I want to share that with you guys.
Thursday june 8th - Travelling and best pizza ever
On the morning of thursday june 8th I woke up with my best friend (we were going together, wooo). We got ready, packed the last couple of things, listened to music, ate breakfast. At around 9am we got in the car to go to Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup. We arrived there at 11am - our flight was at 14:10 or 2:10pm so we had some time to chill and eat - and of course check in. We got to the gate, but our plane was delayed 1 hour. We left at 15:15 or 3.15pm. Our adventure had begun. The planeride was okay. 3 hours of boredom and watching movies, but I was relieved when we landed in Ciampino Airport. We got in the taxi and drove 30 minutes to our rented apartment. The apartment was a small house in the backyard of a bigger house. It had pink walls. The cutest lil' house. I loved it. My best friend and I took the master bedroom while my Godmother and my best friend's mother slept in the living room on two sofas. We were hungry so we went out on a task to find pizza or any kind of food. After walking for a bit, we got to this sideroad with a cute little pizzaria - and let me tell you this: THEY HAD THE BEST PIZZA I HAD EVER TASTED, LIKE WOW! The pizza was two slices put together like a sandwich. It tasted delicious!! After that we went home and fell asleep.
Friday june 9th - Colosseum and a long walk home.
We woke up in Rome, which felt really weird. I couldn't believe that I was there. We got up, got ready, ate breakfast and went on our way to Colosseum. It was a 45 min walk, but it felt like 2 hours. We finally arrived at the Colosseum and we decided not to go inside as it was 32 degrees celcius, but after a tourguide approached us we decided to get a private tour - which was nice because we skipped all the lines - ALL OF THEM. We got inside and stayed there for around 1 hour 30 minutes. It was beautiful, the history was amazing. After colosseum we took a 15 min break outside which was nice. We got lunch at this cute little restaurant, which had sprinklers with small little raindrops in them which was so refreshing! We went home and chilled the rest of the day.
Saturday june 10th - Last full day and shopping
This was our last full day in Rome and we decided to go to mid-Rome at the spanish steps which had a lot of good stores near them. We took the metro into town, where my friend and I went into Sephora to look at makeup. My friend bought some things, but I didn't. Suddenly, we became hungry - so we called her mom and asked her if we could get some McDonald's, she said yes. We were trying to find the McDonald's and after walking up the street we found it, yay! We went inside, and I am kidding it was like a maze + it was the biggest McDonald's I have ever been to. It had over 15 of the screens where you order yourself, which I found insane, ha ha! We got our food and went outside to eat. After finishing our food we bought a lot of things. We went into Gucci, Zara, HM, Michael Kors (where I bought my bag). After shopping for a bit, we had some lunch and just relaxed a bit. After a long day, we took the metro back home and packed our things and just enjoyed the last night in ROMAAAAA. We went to sleep after chilling for a bit.
Sunday June 11th - Going home
The day had come. We were leaving Rome. I had the most wonderful time there, and I would go anytime. We left our cute lil' apartment, got to the airport and flew home. I arrived home at 17:30 or 5.30PM and I told my family about my trip. That was it.
I know this one was a long post, but yeah I just wanted to get the details. I might do a haul at the end of the summer where I show what I have bought this summer.
I hope you enjoyed
