Another week have passet and so far so good.
This week was a little better but the weather is so not with us right now, but we at least managed to have a whole day outside on the Monday, so
we took a long walk to a place called Georgetown, that it's a very nice area in DC .
We had a stop on the way at this really nice playground who had this huge sandbox that was really fun for the kids.
Down in Georgetown we walked by the Swedish embassy , it is by this amazing place by the lake and close to a park where we had picnic and looked at the ducks and just relaxed.
So we had a really the good start of the week.
Then it's start to rain for the rest of the days so the hole week got kind of boring because you have to figure out where to go and plan so much more.
But we went too two different library's nearby for some story times and play, the one library was shaw Howard and the other one was Martin Luther King library in china town that i prefer.
The staff is so nice with the kids and very helpful and understandable when you have some situations.
They have this good play "room" in there, and one of the things they have is this wall with different types of locks and similar stuff so they can train on their motor skills and of course the sharing with the other kids.
Other than that it's just the weekend who was pretty calm.
I went out on Friday night to some bars so it was nice and just fun to meet up and get to know people.
Me and the host family had a calm Saturday,
we went to some different indoor markets and I finally got the chance to try oysters, so good! it's always fun to try new things.
Today I had brunch with some of my Au Pair friends, so nice to meet and catch up with them,
after i went to my monthly Au Pair meeting with my Lcc who is our personal contact here in DC.
So things are so good and I have been in such a good mood theses last days because I'm starting to plan some vacations and smaller trips that I'm really looking forward to.
