What is better to start the year with than a recap of some favorite outfits from 2017? Nothing, I would say. Of course the best outfits comes with a great memory. So here is my 2017 outfit & memory recap.

Spring started of with a lot of trips to Barcelona. As my boyfriend lived there at the time, I had a quick get away almost every weekend. Of course with my beloved leather jacket from Levi's.

2017 is most likely to be remembered as the year that I worked at the Swedish fashion brand Rodebjer. My career took off and I learned a lot but most memorable of it all is decently the team and all the friends that I got the chance to both work with at hang out with. Such as this time, when we had an event at the store Grandpa at Söder. I, of course, wore my animal printed shirt from Rodebjer that is a summer classic from now on.

I kicked off my summer with a trip to Spain with my family. We had a whole week together to celebrate my dad who turned 70. The whole trip was amazing. One evening I managed to get the whole family to the beach for some family photos and interest as my brother was in my camera, he took some pretty good pictures of me. As I just told you guys, 2017 is Rodebjer's year, and of course that is what I'm wearing on these pics. The skirt is absolutely one of my Best Buy in 2017. I wear it to everything.

Arriving back in Sweden and it was time for midsummer in Skåne. As most of the focus was on friends I didn't manage to take that many pictures. So I'll leave it to that. After midsummer, one of this summer's highlight arrived: my two friends wedding. It was really perfect in every way possible. Once again I wore Rodebjer and I just can't get enough of this beauty. The shoes also made a huge impact, found them on sale this summer and I knew that I needed them for this occasion, and I can only say BINGO. The shoes, I bought at Whyred.

As my boyfriend was leaving Barcelona for Amsterdam me and my to friends Victoria and Sofia just had to take the chance and go there before he handed over the apartment keys. He, por guy, was stuck in a rainy Ireland, so it was only me and my girls. I found the most amazing suit at Uterqüe that I just needed to buy and put on right away. After that I've had a struggle finding occasions to wear it to, it has been resting in my closet until Christmas Day.

Before summer ended I went to Skåne to celebrate some friends. I had so much fun in my red satin Rodebjer dress. Also one of my most go-to garments in my closet. It's January now and I wore it to work just last week. To this I had my most comfortable high heels: my red sling backs from Uterqüe.

Another highlight of 2017 is that I moved to Amsterdam and back together with my boyfriend. And Amsterdam has been treating me good ever since I moved here. We've had a lot of weekends away from this lovely city but for all weekends spent here it has been a blast. Mostly just enjoying the view of the canals. I also bought the best pair of sock boots here. They always brings some color to my outfits which I love. Wearing them to exactly anything and it makes the outfit pops. These pairs from Zara.

Kept on wearing them the whole fall, as you can see. I also realized the perks of living together with my boyfriend: I suddenly became a owner of two closets. My not so happy boyfriend often complains that I'm shortening the life of his clothes but I would rather say that I'm making them happy since I'm the only one taking them out for a spin. I found this amazing brown suede jacket from NN07 and I would say that it is a keeper. Not handing that one back for a while. I've also taken a lot of pictures on the street where I live. Cause I really love it. For this one I was freezing but the outfit had to be prioritized. I wore my lovely Rodebjer blouse, with a big bow, that day.

Ending my recap with one of my many layerings. I love layering season: the more the merrier. As you may have guessed, this is not taken in December but rather in November. Since my latest photos is still in my camera I can't give you more than this (for now). So I just have to end this recap with my two favorite jackets from Carin Wester and Rodebjer. Both exemplary for layering season.

The snow has finally found its way to Amsterdam and I don't think it's possible that someone else is more happy than I am. Unfortunately (depends on how you see it) I was in Stockholm this weekend so I haven't got the chance to capture this cold yet breathtaking weather. Due to the lack of snowy photos on my camera, I'll treat you with some photos of my super cosy dot pants instead, that I wore on a not so snowy day.

I've said it before and I will say it again: fall in Amsterdam is rainy. Usually I love rain but I've come to notice that it is holding me from wearing some favorite outerwear, and it kills me. Luckily the sun came out for a couple of hours the other day so I got to wear my fluffy friend from Monki. I bought it a couple of years back and it is still going strong. Really good company both on a Sunday strolls (like this day) and party nights.

Fun side note: If you didn't notice the first time looking at the first two pictures, the house in the background is super crooked. This is actually how most of the houses are built here in Amsterdam. I just love getting to know the city that I live in!

When living in a city with almost 200 days of rain per year it calls for some advanced gear. Before moving here I realized that living in Amsterdam without a proper rain jacket would be a pretty bad idea. Therefore I wished for the best rain jacket of them all, when turning 27 last July. So the best parents in the world gave me this beauty from the Swedish fashion brand Stutterheim. And I tots love it, hope you do too!

Layering season could be my favorite season, except for the shitty weather but that comes with it I guess. While the cold weather calls for warmer clothes it also gives me a lot of opportunities to wear my spring and summer clothes. Best thing ever, if you ask me. So, this Sunday I put my favorite denim jacket on and went for furniture shopping in Amsterdam. Not to worry, the denim jacket was just for layering and it kept me warm underneath my all time favorite fall coat.

Also(!),wearing something colorful actually helps the mood during these cold and dark days. Promise!
