Sorry for the terrible quality of these phone pictures, but I didn't bring my camera which probably was a bit stupid. Oh well! I was at the release party for Battlefield 1 as my brother's plus one last night. It was really really fun. They had a photo booth (amazing!) and people were dressed up as world war 1 soldiers and nurses etc. The DJ played alright music (at least sometimes) so I danced until I was way too sweaty and it was time to go home. Very happy my brother wanted to bring me along because it was a reeeally fun experience.

I love Lush and I love face masks so their *bring back 5 clean pots and get a free face mask* deal is probably the best thing that's ever happened to me. This one smells exactly like chocolate and I want to eat it.

It's been a lot more sunny these past few days so I've been a bit happier. I wish the weather and seasons didn't affect my mood so much but alas. Anyways, Sunday is my *put a face mask on and clean my make up brushes* day so I'm gonna do that now and then continue my Sex and the city re-watch.

1 - Anastasia's Moonchild Glow Kit. I've wanted this ever since it came out but I cannot get it anywhere here without having to pay customs and that's not happening so I'll just keep dreaming.

2 - Anastasia's Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette. I love love love all of these shades, especially the matte ones.

3 - Kat Von D's Shade + Light Contour Palette. My current contour palette is almost finished and I've been eyeing this one for a long time.

4 - Cover FX's Custom Enhancer Drops. I am in looove with the shade Celestial and I feel like Sunkissed would be really nice as a liquid bronzer. Unfortunately they're sold out literally everywhere.

5 - Smith & Cult's Nail Laquers. Especially the shades Stockholm Syndrome and Bitter Buddhist, I'm in tears.

Me whenever I'm sad (or just whenever really): I need more make up.

Long time no see. I've been too lazy and also too sad to blog lately. I also haven't had anything particularly interesting to say. I still don't but that's ok. The first picture is from August, when Mira and I went to Yasuragi which was like the best thing I've ever done. The second is from Isabelle was visiting and we saw Yayoi Kusama's exhibition at the modern museum. The last one is of my the love of my life.

Anyways, I've been quite sad lately because I can't stop thinking about how I'm literally going nowhere in life. Also the fact that I haven't seen the sun in like a month isn't helping. A few weeks ago at work I served two people who work at my favourite fashion magazine and it just hit me that that's literally what I want to be doing but instead I'm here serving them food at a street food restaurant. I know I need to do things if I wanna get there but everything stresses me out and my anxiety is the worst.

This post wasn't supposed to be this way but now it is and I'm sorry. Everything'll hopefully be better soon if the sun comes back.

Yesterday my friend Mira and I had burgers at Lily's burger by Hornsbergs Strand. It feels like we've tried every veggie burger in Stockholm at this point and this one was really gooood. Afterwards we took a walk by the water and I'm in love with Stockholm in the summer I don't ever want winter again.

Yesterday I met up my friend Elin for brunch at STHLM Brunch Club, that I've wanted to try for a really long time. Their avocado sandwich and açaí bowl were amaaazing. We sat there until they closed catching up and then we just walked around for a bit. All in all a very nice day.

Midsummer is one of my favourite "holidays" (can you call it a holiday?) because I always spend it on an island in Stockholm's archipelago, where some family friends have their summer house and it's such a lovely place and they're such lovely people and it's always the best time.

The photos are from our trip to Fuerteventura (the Canary Islands) in January. I can't believe it's been four months since? Time is moving so fast and I don't like it. Anyway, I've been terrible at updating lately, and to be honest partly it's because I keep forgetting I have a blog and also because it feels like all I do is work nowadays so there's nothing fun to write about. This summer I'll get a month off though which I'm veeery excited about.

My brother got maaaarried yesterday, I can't believe. It was just at city hall, but it was still really lovely. Afterwards we got dinner at Il Tempo, which was so so good, and I had too much wine. Four different kinds, one for each meal. Both insane and incredible.

I went to New York with my family last summer and it was one of the greatest trips I've ever taken. I know these pictures are very "my first time in New York"-ish, but it was so bear with me.

We ate ramen (and the best pizza ever), hung out in Central Park, visited Top of the Rock, shopped in Soho, saw Times Square (waaay too many people), took a ferry around the island, walked the Brooklyn Bridge and saw two racoons eating out of a garbage can in Central Park. And I also met my American internet friend for the very first time and we saw Darren Criss in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which was definitely one of the highlights.

I miss it so much take me back. (Also I love how cliche the title of this post is).
