We have been in Noosa some time ago, but as I only started to blog now I'll write the post of the most (in my eyes) beautiful places I've been on my way from Sydney to Cairns a little bit later and not exactly the time I'm there. After Byron Bay, which is my favourite place of all time!, we headed up to Surfers Paradise, Brisbane and then Noosa. We didn't spent much time there (about 3 nights/ 4 days), but I would say that's enough. Noosa is not a very big city, so I would say you can discover everything you need to see normally in this period of time. We stayed at the Nomads Hostel, which is really nice and comfortable - they also have a Bar/ Club where you can go dancing or drinking if you like! They are also pretty cheap and not far away from everything.
The most beautiful thing I think is the Noosa Natinal Park. While you're doing the coastal track you can also stop at some points to go for a swim if you like! You could take some food with you and taking a picnic lunch there, what is really nice in my opinion. The entry is for free and sometimes you can even see some Koalas or Dolphins at the "Dolphin Point", so don't forget to discover it! For swimming or surfing we spent the most of time at the Main Beach, which is really pretty (as you can see on the attached photos). You could also hire a surfboard and spent some time witch Surfing, but I sadly don't know the prices there. If you travel by car you can visit more spots and beaches of course! For example the Peregian Beach would be a beautiful spot, which is between Noosa and Coolum. They have nice restaurants, Sunday markets, a Surfclub and trendy shops away from the tourist places. I love markets so I could literally visit every market in this world. For those who want to visit a market but don't have a car: The Farmers Market is a good option to buy some fresh food or sweets and it's every Sunday between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm at the AFL ground in Noosaville. For a good view over Noosa I would really recommend the Laguna lookout walk. It will take you about 15 minutes to reach the top, where you can see everything of Noosa Bay! Especially to watch the sunset is pretty amazing. The trail to the lookout begins from Viewland Drive in Noosa Head. If you are in Noosa around March, you can also visit the Noosa Festival of Surfing. I wish I could have been there, but sadly I arrived in Australia at the end of March. There are lots of free live Music and Entertainment going on every day!
Really enjoyed my time there - hope I could've helped you a little bit to know more about the places and spots to visit in Noosa. Thanks for reading! See ya! xx
