Being British and traditional and spending your day in London. Everyone loves a good tourist picture whether it is the houses of parliament, big ben to the tube station. I love being in the tube and seeing the service information boards the messages left on there are brilliant and they say they get you through the day. Also every tube station is different either painted styled or just really busy rush hour is every minute. We all love Buckingham palace the British flag, cups of tea and many more. London is one of the busiest places to visit its very crowded queuing to go into places and can be very expensive and yes we love a good moan about it but as a country we all love London now and then. My day out in London on the 20th Sep was a busy, hectic but a good day out. The one thing with London is when your lost you will always find your way back.

The human body exhibition in the Natural History Museum. This was fun but crazy every part of the exhibition you would learn something new about your body. I took specific pictures because i liked the look and the ideas i have for them. I have chosen these pictures as i want to use these ideas towards my designing. I love exhibitions they help you get crazy creative and this is the place to visit. Many places can help you be creative and i like that. Some of the work was so inspiring for me and the mirror image was so funny and so crazy creative. I really enjoyed this part of the exhibition GO SEE IT!

Wednesday 20th Sep, Visiting the Natural History Museum. I love this place its so fascinating and so much fun and its FREE!. When taking these pictures i loved seeing what these animals look like without their skin and this gave me ideas when deigning. This museum is so big it takes a while to get around the who places and its crazy fun. If you haven't been i recommend it for everyone. If you don't like museums and find them boring thats fine not everyone likes them but i still would recommend this place. I like the idea of the bones and structure and this gave me an idea of when designing to have structure in my garments.

Wednesday 20th Sep, Back in the V&A is a free exhibition featuring clothes from the 10th century to now. I chose these selected ones as they caught my eye. From menswear collection show in Milan in the 1990's to swimwear in the 50's and reconstruction. I like the idea of reconstructing an old garment to something from now. The fashion continues to surprise me seeing fashion week i am excited and it gives me the creativity to continue to design.

The prints are also seen in the same exhibition. These prints captured my eye i really liked these they are different and i believe two of these prints were used in a particular era. If you study fashion and need a exhibition to visit i recommend the V&A in London it also gives you the insight of how designers make and what fabrics are used it really does help you.

Wednesday 20th Sep. I headed to London for a day out. As it was London fashion week i wanted to be involved some how so i had noticed this Balenciaga Exhibition at the V&A and decided i should go. The exhibition was all about shaping fashion from simple shaping to amazing crazy shaping. I really liked this exhibition it gave me an inside on how shaping is used this gave me an idea of different ways i can design and use shaping. Balenciaga has to be one of my favourite designer especially after visiting this, every design was different but fresh and taken from a few different eras to now what we expect to see people wearing right now. For a fashion exhibition i do recommend the V&A as they always have something to show and its a nice cheap day out. I must say it was fascinating to visit this exhibition and find out information on Balenciaga and why he creates such a look. I also managed to find quotes from different designers on how they feel about Balenciaga.

26th August Fake Festival appeared in the midlands for the day. Fake festival is a festival that play tribute acts who are well known bands and they also have upcoming bands play at this festival. We enjoyed a day full of sunshine, food, drinks, glitter, face paints and awesome bands, The main act were Four Fighters tribute to Foo Fighters, Not the red hot chilli peppers tribute to Red hot chilli pepper and Flash tribute to Queen. Flash was the reason i went to fake fest they were an awesome band living up to the band every one loved and admired. I was worried about the tribute act as everyone had a lot of expectations. I must say they surprised me and i give them a good rating. Freddie had the same energy as the Freddie we all loved and admired the outfits spot on and the crowd taking part and loving the night. I would recommend to see flash if you want a Queen band experience.

short stay away is always the best. Spain was the choice of our mini break. We stayed in a small place in majorca right behind the mountains and a quite place. We visited a small empty town the buildings and places were beautiful such a lovely place to stay. The water at the beaches were so clear you could see the distance further you go. I would love to go back and visit this place. We shopped drank and played cards and traveled places until we were ready to come home.

Tribute bands are the greatest if you can't see your favourite bands live. 1st of May at a local night club (Hogtown) they had a Beatles tribute band. They were amazing. Everyone joined in the band were having as much fun as the crowed every one danced all night best tribute band i had seen so far!. We all love a good throwback of music whether it's from the 60's to the 2000's we love it!.

Summer is finally over from uni and mine started off by seeing my favourite band 'The growlers' at the O2 academy2. Although they are my favourite band this was actually my first time seeing them live and i must say they were brilliant live they did everything right. The Growlers seemed to have got it right every time not once did i see the crowd stand there they had every one dancing even if it was the awkward small shuffle they made it crazy and fun. The venue was small it wasn't very busy like a usual gig you would go to. The music i wouldn't say is very popular to some but the playlist they had played was just the right songs people had wanted.
