WOW! I was shocked with the outcome of this recipe. The chia-and-water egg trick is so cool and honestly blew my mind. Nevertheless, the waffles tasted amazing and you can top them with whatever you like.
INGREDIENTS: (6 portions)
100 g. oats
1 tbsp. chia seeds + 3 tbsp. water
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. baking powder
200 ml. almond milk
1. Prepare the chia-and-water egg by combining the two ingredients and letting it set for 20 minutes.
2. Make the oat flour by blending the oats.
3. Add the almond milk, the baking powder, the oat flour, the cinnamon and the chia-and-water egg into a bowl and mix well.
4. Pour the mixture into a waffle maker and let it cook for about 5 minutes or until the edges are crispy and the waffle maker opens easily.
